Characters in exhibitor Dreamweaver CM³

Hallo,

I want to put® Exhibitor in Dreamweaver CM³. Can tell me someone how can I do this? Get only on the line as a regular character. In other Adobe programs it seems directly as an exhibitor.

Margot-Jo

Hi Margot.

The sup element is used for exhibitors.

Simply enter "ipsum lorem®" in the source code.

If you want to refine the height or the font size, you can use the CSS for this.

My personal opinion:

I avoid exhibitors for Web sites, because the resolution of many screens is not so high.

Exhibitors are difficult to recognize for this purpose.

  • Windows Media Player 10 is set additional characters in the names of artist & composer names

The drive attaches extra characters index, exhibitor characters, letters and boxes behind the names of some of the artists in my library, and they cannot be deleted using change.  They can be removed by using advanced tag editor, but usually they come back the next time I open the media player.  What is causing this and how can I keep it from happening.  Also, when I add a new song to the library and then change something the media player will often change back again after a few seconds.  If I then change it again, it will stay changed.

Then additional characters are attached to music files in the MP3, WMA and WAV format? Note that WAV has very bad assumption of marking, so any tag replaces these files will be only stored in the library, not in the files themselves.

Try to reset the library, by following the instructions for WMP 10 on XP at http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#medialibrary . Note the reset of the library will make you lose all the counts to play and possibly ratings too. Who help me?

  • Is there a maximum number of characters with Dreamweaver search report?

    Hello

I am trying to produce a text file for import in Textwrangler for further manipulation with the search of Dreamweaver functionality.

I asked to find everything in a particular tag. However, in the report, the lines with the largest number of characters are not complete - it of like Dreamweaver indicates a fixed number of characters, and no more. Do you think this could be the case, and if so, is there something I can do?

    I'm on a mac using CS5.5

    Thank you very much

If you are competent in regular expressions, you should be able to use the search tool of TextWrangler and the box with Grep. A quick glance at the manual of TextWrangler seems to indicate that the Grep syntax used by TextWrangler is the same as used by Dreamweaver compatible regular expressions Perl.

  • Type the Scandinavian characters in Dreamweaver [from: is it possible to map a command to a keyboard shortcut?]

Just to add another question: is it still the card my Nordic utf - 8 characters while I type in Dreamweaver? For the moment, I have to pass a tedious find and replace after any text that I wrote. I did a series of macros that makes (two for each character), but I can't make it work as a macro. That's why she everything would be easier if I could just spend the keyboardmapping when I type a UTF - 8.

I do not have a Danish keyboard, but I was able to enter Danish characters from a UK keyboard with the ALT sequences

  • Dreamweaver still encodes special characters in the URL - Bug?

6 Dreamweaver is still encoding my special characters when I enter a URL through the control panel AND press ENTER. When I paste the link in code view or just paste in the control panel link field without hitting Enter, no formatting occurs.

I the setting under Code Rewriting preferences set on "do not encode special characters", but without worrying reformatting occurs whenever I hit enter in the link field in the control panel.

    For example:

The link I'm stick in is dynamic and has the value % DC %

If I just paste the link in the Control Panel then click elsewhere the link is defined, and no formatting occurs. If I stick in there, then press on the URL change to %u %

Is this a bug or I do something wrong?

  • Chinese characters appear from nowhere, then using find and replace in dreamweaver

It is a strange, Chinese characters appear from nowhere, then using find and replace (in the folder) in dreamweaver. the replacement text is Chinese characters on the open document, others are ok

Sounds like the Configuration of your entire file is damaged.

Rename your folder Dreamweaver MX\Configuration Old_Configuration.

When you restart Dreamweaver, it will create a new Configuration file for you.

    Good luck!

  • Dreamweaver - cut and paste text of strange characters appear

    Just started using Adobe Dreamweaver.   When I cut and paste Google adsense of Google Chrome ad codes in Dreamweaver, the "citations" are transformed into: & gt;

    How can I fix it?

    Here's a sample:

    copied text:

    "< script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js "> < / script >

    <! - ProPrankster.com - >

    < ins class = "adsbygoogle".

    style = "display: block".

    customer-ad-data = "ca-pub-4378258341244254.

    data-ad-slot = "2469206513."

    data-ad-format = 'auto' > < / ins >

    < script >

    (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle | .push ({}) [of]);

    < /script >

Copied text will look like this when pasted into Dreamweaver:

    & lt; script src async = & quot;//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js & quot; & gt; & lt; / script & g t; < br >

    & lt;! -ProPrankster.com - & gt; < br >

    & lt; ins class = & quot; adsbygoogle & quot; < br >

    style = & quot; display: block & quot; < br >

    data-customer-ad = & quot; CA-pub-4378258341244254 & quot; < br >

    data-ad-slot = & quot; 2469206513 & quot; < br >

    advertising-format data = & quot; Auto & quot; & gt; & lt; / ins & gt; < br >

    & lt; script & gt; < br >

    (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle |) []) .push ({}); < br >

    & lt; / script & gt;

It would be the outcome if you paste your code in anything other than the display of Code (Design or Live).

Can you confirm where in DW you paste the code?

  • Text with the letters No. and TM sometimes display as exhibitor.

On some web pages, words that begin with the letters NOT or include TM were part of the word displayed as an exhibitor. For example, if the sentence starts with the Word no, the part not of the word has triggered o and stressed that it is an abbreviation for the word number. A reference as STM32F103 number will have the letters TM raised as if it were an abbreviation for the word mark.

I tried to place different fonts and found that specifically put a font while not allowing the site to replace, it avoids the problem. Unfortunately some sites use characters that I can't identify just, so I normally run with the option to allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of using fixed fonts.

On ebay, for example, I have the problem with the characters superscript. I tried to use Google Chrome is a point of comparison and found that the pages display correctly with chrome, but not with Firefox. Search on Google or Yahoo gives me a results page that does not have the characters superscript.

Is there something that I am missing in the configuration of Firefox which is the cause? I need like sites to choose their own fonts, because otherwise I find myself with looking for very strange pages (even weirder to have numbers or TM poster evil).

What the font is used for these characters?

You right click on a web page and select "Inspect element" to open the Inspector (Firefox/tools > Web Developer).

    • You can check the font used for the text selected in the tab fonts in the right pane of the Inspector.

You can try different default fonts temporarily disable fonts site to test the selected default font.

    • Edit > Preferences > fonts and colors of content > advanced
    • [] 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above'

You can do a test of fonts to see if you can identify not police work.

  • different Dreamweaver browser preview in safari browser

    Hello

I have issues with the placement of the elements, or should I say especially when it comes to preview in a browser like Safari or Chrome.  Things seem to be correct in the on-line display of the Dreamweaver CC.  Is there something wrong with my code?  I have also validated HTML and CSS property.  I have attached a screenshot to show how it is a little screen.  I did my best to learn some CSS through lynda.com. But I don't know that I'm doing something wrong.

    Thank you.

A link to your page online would be more productive, then we could see what you see in a browser.

It might have something to do with the preferences of your browser (Zoom should be 100% or normal).

Negative margins are an invitation to problems.  I want to stay clear of it until you have more experience and understand the consequences.

Another thing, use no special characters or spaces in your file names.  On the web, this can cause the rendered image & file path problems.

Rename this file: sergei & .png sergei_temple or sergei-temple temple but do not use the ampersand special character that is not valid.  It goes the same for movie%20icon.svg (remove space which is converted to % 20).

  • HTML5 - Data bindings cannot operate in Dreamweaver

    Hi all

Yesterday, I managed to install and, with some help from a nice person here, to load a database in Dreamweaver with HTML5 data links.
I thought from there, it would be easy enough to insert the data in my Web page, but I can't seem to make it work. I used a converter to change my xml database in a file of jason. I tried to follow some tutorials of DMX zone, I tried an explanation found here on the forum, but it is not just anything. I'm probably missing some important information.

Below you see some of the code that I think is important:

    code.PNG

    data.PNG

    jason.PNG

    files.PNG

And this is what it looks like in live-view mode

    view.PNG

It is a version. I've tried several different approaches, but nothing seems to work. y at - it someone who can see what I'm doing wrong, or could direct me to a simple tutorial? I would be very grateful.

    Anja

Problem fixed - in the end it turns out JSON files of the user have been containing non-compliant characters in the beginning.

The problem has been fixed by removing illegal characters left by the XML to JSON converter.

  • How can I change the appearance of the characters hidden in the code view?

I'm talking about DW CC 2014.

    Use unicode characters

    U + 00 has 0 (nonbreaking space)
    and
    U + 202F (narrow nonbreaking space)

Well, I don't want to use entities for several good reasons. These reasons should not be the subject in this thread.

When I turn on "Show hidden characters" U + 00 to 0 is shown as a "°" in light grey.

U + 202F appears independent of "see hidden characters." It is presented as a small black square with a cross inside.

The font that I use in the code view is 'Source Code Pro', but the choice has no effect on what I'm talking about.

If you want to reproduce this, you can just choose the wikipedia unicode characters:
    https://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitespace_character

In the big picture, fourth column.

    Two questions:

    1

How can I do DW to hide the U + 202F, when I disable "Show hidden characters"?

What are the config files in DW 'hack' that, please?

    2

    How can I change the layout of U + 00 a 0 and U + 202F?

What are the config files in DW 'hack' that, please?

Example: I would like to choose a different location for U + 202F because the "small square with the cross inside' is intrusive. It makes reading difficult.

Thanks a lot for your help.

If a developer or something from adobe reads this thread. Please take my question as a desire to feature for future versions of DW.

This is a quality characteristic, when different types of spaces are supported.

Some of these spaces are very important for a typography exzellent.

I'm sure that someone knows how special characters are handled in Dreamweaver, but if it is controlled by an editable file or hidden deep in the bowels of the software, only an Adobe engineer is likely to know.

Public information on the integration of media in Dreamweaver are in this blog post from Dreamweaver: next generation of Dreamweaver: Adobe Dreamweaver Team Blog.

I feel that the idea is to combine the best features of media with Dreamweaver. As the blog post suggests, there will be a public beta. When that happens, people will have the opportunity to say what they do and don't like. If enough people make the compelling case for X or Y, there is a chance it could be implemented (or maybe not).

  • How to detect them offending characters in text

I build based on the text code in DW who goes into a database, then is passed to an application. Just the HTMKL/CSS usual stuff, formatting of text, in large volume. Almost all of this formatted text is imported other documents, if characteristics and measures of fonts are varied. I had problems with the app crashing during a test, find the problem to be incriminated type characters: quotation marks single or double, the special guide lines (these multiple times used to indicate a sentence of hanging, as :...) and other oddities.) We have all had the experience of having find and replace characters such as this one, but I'm asking, is there a way in DreamWeaver to flush out these types of characters before having to track them, by process of elimination, one by one. I'll have to remove small sections of text, test the application, delete an other, test the application, until I have to isolate the offending character, then remove them all from the file.

Is there an easier way to do it?

    Thank you.

    Cayce

There are probably many ways to deal with it. If you use PHP, you can use mysql_real_escape_string, htmlentities() or htmlspecialchars() to convert characters in a format which should be safe for the database. It works like this:

    $text = mysql_real_escape_string ($text);

A better way is to use PDO with parameters as your MySQL database connection method. Since I use this method, I never need to use other methods to do this (even if I use remediation methods, like checking strip_tags and datatype).

  • How do I use the letters A and O in Dreamweaver?

I wonder if there is any way I can use the letters A and o Dreamweaver transforms the letters some random mess. They are used in my mother tongue and so far I have not been able to use. I can't also set with change the language of Dreamweaver on my own since it was translated to it. Are they fixed if I download my files on the net? If this is not the case, what I have to do to fix this?

Yes, you can use the accented characters in Dreamweaver, as long as you use a fairly recent version of Dreamweaver. Make sure that the document encoding is set to UTF - 8. If you can type accented directly from your keyboard characters, Dreamweaver inserts the characters directly.

What you describe as back "some random mess" at the time where the browsers are not able to handle accented characters. Ä is the character entity HTML a. Older versions of Dreamweaver by default to Western European (iso-8859-1 encoding), which translates accented characters in the process of conversion to HTML character entities.
