different Dreamweaver browser preview in safari browser

Hello

I have issues with the placement of the elements, or should I say especially when it comes to preview in a browser like Safari or Chrome.  Things seem to be correct in the on-line display of the Dreamweaver CC.  Is there something wrong with my code?  I have also validated HTML and CSS property.  I have attached a screenshot to show how it is a little screen.  I did my best to learn some CSS through lynda.com. But I don't know that I'm doing something wrong.

Thank you.

A link to your page online would be more productive, then we could see what you see in a browser.

It might have something to do with the preferences of your browser (Zoom should be 100% or normal).

Negative margins are an invitation to problems.  I want to stay clear of it until you have more experience and understand the consequences.

Another thing, use no special characters or spaces in your file names.  On the web, this can cause the rendered image & file path problems.

Rename this file: sergei & .png sergei_temple or sergei-temple temple but do not use the ampersand special character that is not valid.  It goes the same for movie%20icon.svg (remove space which is converted to % 20).

  • JPEG not appear when previewing in safari, but when given after the download to the browser. CS5

Hi, I'm afraid I don't know the jargon that someone else has put it for me and I just make new pages based on the templates.

But I've just uploaded 9 new pages all with 9 small images related to 9 corresponding large images. They work all but one where I changed the image a few months later. So, now the small 9 images and it's corresponding image large to come up with a blue mark issue in Safari and space in Firefox. However when you save, click Preview in Safari etc everything works fine.

I checked the names of jpeg have no space and no ceiling. They have exactly the same length as the other names of jpeg within this set of pages; nothing is more 10 letters or numbers. Also, they are the two RGB as someone mentioned that could be a problem.

Everything works fine in pages and all the links work.

    I hope someone can help.

The scale of the system not. With some third-party application, you can select a different default browser, but which is limited to what the app developer has chosen to use and rarely (never) include all available browsers.

  • Preview in Safari doesn't work once?

It's new, just started today. (Mac Mavericks 10.9.5)

I get the exact behavior even in 2014, DW and DW 2015 CC CC.

When I open any HTML file in Dreamweaver and choose to 'Preview in Safari', I get a grey Safari screen that says "Safari cannot find the file? A file of this type exist at the address "/ CUSTOMER DATA...» ». (CUSTOMER DATA is the name of the volume hard drive I store all my website files on).

I can't see what is the problem, but I can't fix it?

Either Dreamweaver sends the string path wrong local file in Safari or Safari changes the path of the file after the first attempt. (All my HTML files in all my other Mac browsers - Opera, Chrome, Firefox, etc works fine)

    Here's what happens:

    (1) I do a Reset Safari and quit Safari

    (2) I chose to preview a file Dreamweaver HTML in Safari - for example: file:///Volumes/CLIENT%20DATA/CLIENT%20SITES/FAMTrips/Sicily2016/Sicily2016.html - seems

    (3) I chose to AGAIN Preview in Safari (the same or any other HTML page) and it removes the ' Volumes / "part of the repertoire of string and I get the blank screen of Safari mentioned above, since it cannot find the file without the full file path.". So that the path looks like this on subsequent tries: file:///CLIENT%20DATA/CLIENT%20SITES/FAMTrips/Sicily2016/Sicily2016.html

Like I say it only does, it's Safari. If I RESET SAFARI and quit Safari and try then to Dreamweaver, it will preview THE FIRST TIME, then it starts to remove the "VOLUMES /" track?

Any ideas? I tried to reset the path of access to the site in DW a deletion of the DW and Safari prefs. Very strange that is works perfectly "first time only"?

Safari send you an update today?

Hi, I have a few questions.  Anyone happen to know why my home page is different in Dreamweaver when I saw in the browser, then it does when I download the page on the server?  http://www.iewaterkeeper.org/  I see a join our mailing list button is intact when I saw in the browser but is not where when I discovered the page downloaded from the server.  Other strange things have been going with Dreamweaver today as I have no absolute position a div in it is held and all the typography on my homepage looks very blurred in Dreamweaver but looks clearer when it is transferred to the server.  Anyone know what is happening?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  .... Could this be a virus?

You do not have a class called "facebookmailinglist" in your css file its called 'mailing list '.

In addition, my photos in Safari not to float to the right (by my CSS rule). Rather, they are on the left side or center of the page.

It's a Safari bug, and if so, how can I fix? Or is it a problem with my code? I suspect it's the latter, but I went through for hours and didn't find anything wrong.

But when I add text, there is no space between paragraphs - not in Design view, split view or the browser previews.

    It's very strange.

You not paste content from MS Word, Outlook or other apps are you?

  • How is it that design looks different than the preview with slideshow mode?

    Hello

I put a slide show on the site. When I look in the preview mode the slide show is not exactly in the same place.

How is it? I'm doing something wrong?

    Thanks for the reply

    The same problem.

Now the elements to the top left have been defined to be pinned at the top left and everything has been defined to be pinned to the top center. So how both sets of objects are positioned relative to each other depend on the width of the browser window.

According the appearance of your page layout I do not really want to have whatever it is pinned.

If you do not want the items to be positioned differently in different browser window widths then don't use pinning in the Control Strip.

  • A reactive result different between the preview and the location of the preview page

Hi guys, just to build a new site on 2015.1 on Mac. When I 'Overview Page in the browser' reagent works perfectly as planned between my 3 break points. If I have "Site Preview in the browser" or upload to an FTP host page doesn't work the same as it does when I preview the page only? Help?

I am such a beast-*. I'm sorry to waste your time, problem solved. I had not applied the breakpoints to the index page, I worked only on the master page. Thanks for your replies.

  • Different hyperlinks in preview mode

    musehyperlinkproblem.jpg

The hyperlink APPEARS to be set up properly - Dardanelle should link to the site of the geezer music club, but when the display of the preview in a browser page, another page opens - who is not related to the test? !! This is a discography with about 20 artists page - so this issue of liaison has been a long time.

Is there a list somewhere of all the Adobe Muse eccentricities and possible solutions?

Please send .muse file to [email protected] , I'll check the file.

Talk about this post on the forum in your email.

    Thank you

  • Muse design differs from the preview

    Hello

I am a teacher at a local community college and we started to teach the Muse and I came in a lot, I remember coming into a lot when I taught in Dreamweaver.

A student designs its site. So far, everything is pretty WYSIWYG. However, when she presents preview images and text are pushed to the top and the menu bar is pushed out of the side of the page. In design mode, if it moves its menu bar on the side of the page (see fig_01), when it presents a preview will appear the way she planned (see fig_02). It is as if something is pushing the elements at the bottom of the page and the top of the page.

On a second page that she designed, it is simply the text and the design to preview, everything seems in good condition.

I suspect that it's maybe something with the image or the footer, but I'm not sure.

You must ensure that the design elements are kept within the parameters of page.

It seems that the page is set to 960 pixels. The above rule will show you where the '0' or the left margin begins.

No graphic element (under format) must be outside the mark of '0' on the left and the marker "960" on the right.

If you want the page to be longer, navigate to Site properties and readjust.

  • Why different color on Preview CC?

In Photoshop, the color is different on my iPad with overview CC. When I export my photo in JPG format, the color is uniform on all devices. the color profile is defined in RGB respects more. So I don't know why it does this. Any thoughts?

We fixed some bugs related to «files with color profiles different non-sRGB in the application preview of iOS vs Photoshop»  See this post for more information:
