Check the generation of constraint in a physical model in 3.1.1.

My question: it is possible to define field checked by default use constraints (or another way to bring them to DDL) if the domain with the check constraint is defined for the column. I guess that's logical because if I bind a column to the field, and then use the field as default policy constraint. It is not a big problem if you have a bit, but in my case I'm re-modeling just to the level of physical model and I have dozens column in the tables based on a domain. So, I must first of all define the field as a column type, and then in another beat of screen use field constraints
Thank you

Hello

It is possible to define constraints for field use is checked by default (or another way to bring them to DDL) if the domain with the check constraint is defined for the column.

No, it is not possible that I logged for this bug.

So, I must first of all define the field as a column type

How do you define the field as data type? You have several columns using the same domain? In such cases, you can use domain dialog box (in the browser) and ' used to ' page to assign the field to multiple columns/attributes at the same time.
You can use the script below to define constraints of field of use on columns of this area to use as data type

Philippe

var model;
tables = model.getTableSet().toArray();
for (var t = 0; t;     if(column.getUse() == 0 && column.getDomain()!=null){          if(!column.getUseDomainConstraints()){               column.setUseDomainConstraints(true);               table.setDirty(true);          }     }}}

Does anyone know how to set the font size using the generation of explicit report with MS Word?  I have trouble getting my 11th column to fit the correct size with the imported data table.  The values end up being off the screen.  Any ideas?

I suspect that the answer is somewhere within MS Word instead of LabVIEW.  However, I tried it figure out in both and had no luck.  In WORD, I updated all fonts size = 10.  However, the table is imported to the format = 12.  In addition, the table cells are the same size, regardless of the number of columns is imported.

Just for future visitors to this question are aware, it is a known problem with the generation of report express vi.  There is no solution at this time and the problem will be resolved in future versions of LabVIEW.

  • How can I check the disc for physical integrity on Satellite P305?

    I have P305-S8838.

I had some freezing problems earlier this month, and on the notice here, I nu start-up and reduced services a little at a time.
Now, I have a few more crash but don't know if it's a physical disk problem.

For example... I have run CHKDSK and does many things and happens at the exact same spot and hangs at step 4 file 5 3498 or 421168 processed.

I tried to run CHKDSK in SafeMode but tells me drive is locked and it will run when I restart. But the restart put back me in normal mode and get the same hang.

Now, for more suspicion of a physical problem. I tried to make a disk image with ACronis and same problem occurs because he says impossible to reading data 226 964, 072 sector and ask if I want to ignore and continue. I say yes to everything. Log shows he made about three of these attempts and crashes.

I ran sfc/scannow and it says found problems that he was unable to fix. The newspaper isn't so long and complex course that all means. I could send these log files if someone can help me understand.

I ran the test of memory OK.

I if I could put in DVD Toshiba and certain diagnoses, but when I put in the disk I get this big warning I'll crush, etc and I have chicken.

This didn't stop me to use the computer, but its all irritating.

How can I check the disc for physical integrity?

    Bob

    Hello

He idea goo to check the HARD disk and run some diagnostic procedures.
For this, I recommend the freeware tool called Drive Fitness Test.
It allows you to check the HARD disk for certain physical defects.

Google for this tool. You can get it from multiple pages download

    Hello

If I understand correctly you want to know how to check how much RAM is installed on your computer, as well as the way you want to check the amount of RAM memory is consumed by the computer. I will certainly help you with information.

To check the amount of RAM installed, I suggest you follow the steps:

    • Click Start.
    • Right-click on computer and select Properties.
    • In the window system, under System properties, see installed memory (RAM) to the memory installed on your computer.

To check the memory consumed by each program you can check by following the steps below:

    1. Open the Task Manager.
    2. On the performance tab, click on Resource Monitor.
    3. Under the resource monitor , you should be able to see the memory consumed by each program.

To check the memory usage, see at the bottom of the Task Manager in the status bar where it says physical memory: xx %

  • Type of object in the physical model

    Hello

We try to get a complete reference level for the database for deployment, but lack us the 'Types' in the physical model.

    (1) Generate DDL is not creating scripts for "CREATE TYPE" instruction to create the specification of a object type.

    (2) timing of the model with the data dictionary lists recently added external tables

    Thanks in advance

    Zafar

    Hi zak,.

    (1) Generate DDL is not creating scripts for "CREATE TYPE" instruction to create the specification of object type.

Statements to CREATE or REPLACE TYPE should be generated for structured Types and collection Types in your model.

Are your structured Types and the Types of Collection selected on the tabs in the Options of the generation of DDL DDL generation phase?

    (2) timing of the model with the data dictionary lists recently added external tables

Are they newly added in the database or newly added in your model?

Note that synchronize the model with the data dictionary does not detect the new objects added to the database.  You will need to do a data dictionary import to import additional objects.

Support of external Tables has been extended in version 4.0.2.840 of the Data Modeler.  They can now be created in the form of Tables in the relational model, and appropriate external table properties can be set in the properties of physical model for the Table.

If they are created in this way, then synchronize the dictionary of data with the model should identify as newly added in the model.

    Hello

I installed 10 G OBIEE and open the Administration tool to open the repository online default 'AnalyticsWeb '. • Checking the LUNS when clusterware arises

    Version of the grid: 11.2.0.3.6

    Platform: Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.2

In our 2 bow TIE, Node2 got expelled. Once started Node2 CRS did not start. I couldn't find anything significant in the alert.log, ocssd.log or crsd.log grid.

In node2, I was able to do fdisk-l on all LUNS in the diskgroup OCR_VOTE. After a few hours of headaches and escalations, we discovered that LUNS were not really accessible to the clusterware in Node2, although fdisk-l has been correctly showing the partition.

When the cluster is down, I wanted to check if the drive to vote was really accessible to the CRS (GI), but I couldn't (as shown below).

    #. / crsctl start crs

CRS-4640: Oracle high availability Services is already active

CRS-4000: Start command has failed, or completed with errors.

#. / crsctl query css votedisk

Unable to communicate with the Cluster synchronization service daemon.

How can I check if the drive to vote is accessible to the RSC in a knot when the CRS is down?

There are 2 layers necessary for the start of the CRS.

Storage. IMO, multipath is required for managing the storage of cluster at the physical level. To check if the storage is available, use the multipath-l for a list of the devices command. I usually use multipath-l | grep to list the LUN, key word matches the LUN entry. For example

    [root@xx-rac01 ~] # multipath-l | grep VRAID | Sorting
    VNX-LUN0 (360060160abf02e00f8712272de99e111) dm-8 DGC, VRAID
    VNX-LUN1 (360060160abf02e009050a27bde99e111) dm-3 DGC, VRAID
    VNX-LUN2 (360060160abf02e009250a27bde99e111) dm-9 DGC, VRAID
    VNX-LUN3 (360060160abf02e009450a27bde99e111) dm-4 DGC, VRAID
    VNX-LUN4 (360060160abf02e009650a27bde99e111) dm-0 DGC, VRAID
    VNX-LUN5 (360060160abf02e009850a27bde99e111) dm-5 DGC, VRAID
    VNX-LUN6 (360060160abf02e009a50a27bde99e111) dm-1 DGC, VRAID
    VNX-LUN7 (360060160abf02e009c50a27bde99e111) dm-6 DGC, VRAID
    VNX-LUN8 (360060160abf02e009e50a27bde99e111) dm-2 DGC, VRAID
    VNX-LUN9 (360060160abf02e00a050a27bde99e111) dm-7 DGC, VRAID

If the number of LUNS is bad and one or more LUNS are missing, I would check the logs to begin. You can also run a multichannel flush and rediscovering (and up to the fi level of verbosity errors are thrown).

If all LUNS are there, check the device permissions and make sure that the pile of s/w Oracle has access.

The other layer which needs to work is the interconnection. There are 2 basis points to check. The interface for local interconnection exist? This can be verified using ifconfig. And communicate this interface for interconnection with interfaces for interconnection of the other cluster node? This can be checked by using ping - or if Infiniband is used, via the ibhost and other orders of ib.

So if the CRS does not start - these 2 controls (storage and interconnection) would be my first port of call, as in my experience most of the time one of these 2 layers failed.

  • How to check the ESX memory for errors?

    Hi all

I faced with the strange behavior of ESX:

Some linux VMs (RHEL) were stopped. No error messages in the vCenter nor LabManager, I even thought that someone just connected and Runic stop.

Below you will find information of ESX server logs:

    (1) the vmkernel newspaper:

    #grep - color = always-i ' 1922 [^ 0-9] "... /VMkernel *"

    .. (/ VMkernel.8:Dec 8 22:22:40 WKK1EC02 vmkernel: 290:11:51:47.230 cpu14:23084) UserDump: 1441: Dumping cartel 23079 (of the world 23084) to file the vmfs/volumes/4a4ce277-4a35505c-8828-0024817b058c/labmanager/1922/vmware-vmx-zdump.000...

    (2) the journal of the VM:

    # grep ' 08 Dec' /vmfs/volumes/4a4ce277-4a35505c-8828-0024817b058c/labmanager/1922/vmware-1.log '.

I found the suggestion to check the ESX memory for problems.

I found the information that ESX 3.0 was ramcheck service which could check the memory, but there is no such service in future versions of ESX.

Could someone help me find how to check the memory without stopping the ESX Server (I could not migrate virtual machines per host)?

The only way you will get a true test of the memory of the HOST must stop it and run the test directly. Any tool running in the ESX console will only have indirect access RAM. The vmkernel controls access to physical RAM.

  • Check the ESX path to correct the SAN enclosure

I don't know if this is the right forum...

I have a HP Blade enclosure connected to a HP EVA 6 K and EVA 3 K SAN. All blades that I currently have in the enclosure point to my 6K SAN controllers are active/active. 2 new servers blade I've built will be used to condense some old physical servers that are connected to the EVA 3 K that has active/passive controllers.

For the new 2 knives I built I want to make sure that their way is properly connected to the 3 K ONLY. Is there a way to check the correct path to the 3 K before starting to move the vm servers on?

With the current game I have, when I added a new blade I add it to the pool side san for the 6 K and then unmask and LUN I want to see. These 2 blades which will see the 3K are the first in the pen to point only to the 3K.
