  • How to change the background color in photoshop CS6?

    Hello

I tried to change the background color of Adobe photoshop cs6
by default, I was on a black background, canany one help me.

    Thanks in advance

You can use one of the fill methods to change the background color. (SHIFT + F5 is the fill command) The most common method is to use two shades just below the toolbar on the left side of the screen. Take a look at your keyboard to the right of the SPACEBAR are alt modifier two keys option and ctrl or command photo button left to sample on the left and right as the right nuance. Keep this button pressed and at the same time press the back button back. Your document or selection fill with this color swatch. Double click on each sample will bring up the color picker to choose a different color.

If there are other objects on top of the background, and they are merged with the background, it will be necessary to select the background using the Selection tool in the toolbar before you fill the background with a color.

I hope this helps, if not post a picture of your screen, then we can see what you're trying to do, and we can then give more advice.

  • When "allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above" is not checked in the menu options, I can't see images on Web sites. How can I maintain with the box unchecked and always display images?

I recently decided to spend autour colours in Firefox. I work in a fairly dark environment and have the dark color on white or light background text is quite difficult on my eyes in the dark.

I changed the background to a dark gray, light gray text and visited the two and links not visited in a blue light. With these changes, I unchecked the "allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above" box.

After unchecking the box, I'm more able to display images on many sites. Turn all grey images - as if Firefox has changed their image in part of the background. When I check the box, I am able to see fine pictures, however, Web sites typically return to their light background with dark text.

Any help and assistance with this is greatly appreciated!

So, basically, I'm trying to give the user the ability to customize a toolbar, I developed for work by allowing them to choose their own color. I don't want to have to keep jumping into the script whenever someone wants a different color then thought it would be an additional pleasure.

I looked and found the code for a color picker and suitable for what I want, but being a complete noob, I

    (b) there is probably a better way to do it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The piece of code I posted was intended to replace box.graphics.backgroundColor = color_rgb;

Full code (without the .writeln of $):

  • Change of color CC Photoshop and lightroom

    Hello

Thus, this issue was repeatedly, but I just can´t understand, why this is happening.

    My workflow:

Change in Lightroom, export when im done with the image, when nothing else is needed. I export in SRGB. The image looks great on the screen, when using Irfan View and viewer of windows, with colors, correct, as they are in the lightroom interface. Great everything´s here!

But lets say, I want to make a few additional changes - this is where things go wrong.

I m always in lightroom. I right click on the image and chose to change in photoshop cc.

The photo opens, looks exactly like the version of lightroom. I apply changes and save them as a JPG. I ve tried recording in SRGB and Adobe RGB format. When I view the image of Irfan view, the look 'flat, ish and dull. " Now, I think I did something wrong, here's what I ve tried:

Export to jpg from Lightroom, using SRGB.

Save the same exact file (open in Photoshop via Lightrrom, don't edit and save as jpg, also making sure that it s to SRGB)

Now I have 2 identical JPG files. But when I open in Viewer Irfan view or windows, the photoshop file seems dull and ish, while editing in lightroom seems perfect. The same thing happens when I print photos in my local photoshop - lightroom printing looks perfect, the Photoshop file doesn´t.

When in photoshop, I check the 'view - color proof' image in my PS interface also looks like ish

I ve tried everything and at this stage I Don t even like to use Photoshop more, because I think it destroys my JPG files. (Which in turn means, that there must be a setting I can change to make it work)

I ve attached a shot showing the 2 files next to screen.

    Help, please!

You have the profile of ProPhoto color image in Photoshop. That's how it comes to Lightroom with the default settings (you can change that in Lr preferences).

Check you convert them to sRGB in Photoshop before the record on. Everything here indicates that you do not. If you use save for Web, you must check the "convert to sRGB" and "embed the profile.

What is absolutely certain, it's that the right version looks exactly like an image ProPhoto read without color management. Proofing RGB turns off the management of color in Photoshop, so that shows you the same thing.

  • In Lightroom 5, choose "Merge to Panorama in Photoshop" open PS in the wrong place

Hello, I use Lightroom version 5.7.1 on an iMac with OS X (version 10.10 [5]) and, until recently, if I chose the Photo - Edit open inside my request of Photoshop on my boot drive.  Now, although it uses by default trying to open the backup copy of Photoshop on my external backup drive, which is a clone of the hard drive of my iMac, and if I choose "merge to Panorama in Photoshop" (which I need to do often enough) it freezes and gives the following error:

    Screen Shot 2016-03-30 at 11.48.49.png

I can see that it tries to open the cloned version of Photoshop (on iMac Anna/backup/Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS6) but I can't find any way to change this so that it can reuse the version on my boot drive.  I'm sure there must be a file somewhere that staged Lightroom to try to open Photoshop on the external hard drive, but I don't know where it could be.

If I have already opened the version of Photoshop on my startup disk before trying to merge with Panorama, it will use that one.  If I remove the external hard drive containing the cloned version of Photoshop, I just get an error that says that the files could not be changed because Photoshop CS6 could not be launched.

I tried to delete the file [file username]/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Photoshop.plist, then by restarting Lightroom, but it did not help.]  I also tried to change the external editor in Lightroom preferences - preferences: I can create an additional external editor and have pointing to Photoshop on my boot drive, but this has no effect when you try to merge with Panorama and I see no way to change the settings to 'Edit in Adobe Photoshop CS6' at the top of the box as shown below :

If anyone has a solution to this, I would be really grateful.  Thanks in advance.

After posting this question I've been tracking the answer me - it seems that there is a bug in Lightroom that Adobe know since at least January 2015.  As far as I know, it has not been resolved in the latest version of Lightroom, but they wrote a plugin that works around the problem.  I have downloaded and run and it works, so I thought I would like to include the link to the page in case someone else has the same problem:

Lightroom: "Edit in PS 2014" opens PS 2014 in the wrong place. Community customer Photoshop family

Ignore the first suggestion about uninstalling Lightroom and Photoshop and scroll down the page until you find the official response from Jeffrey Tranberry - there is a link to download a plugin it and once you installed you will be able to specify the location of Photoshop.   With a bit of luck will be solved properly in a future version of Lightroom.

    Best wishes
