Chromebook Google sign-in

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8610 and I am already connected to ePrint, via the email address of the printer. I can't understand how to connect my chromebook to the printer to scan to it. Any help?

Hello

Chrome OS printing can be done using Googl'e Cloud Print using ePrint printer address:

http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02817255

There is no scanning for Chrome OS solution softwaer, but analysis can be performed using the Web Scanner interface within the EWS printer page.

First step: get the printer IP address

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Have you considered upgrading to IE8? IE6 is considered to be a very precarious today browser. IE8 is better and faster and more secure.

Have you looked at alternatives (Firefox, Chrome, etc.)?

  • Cannot access the Thunderbird emails, sign in said browser no cookies when you enter the password

I installed Thunderbird and installed an e-mail account with success, but when I add another account, it takes me to the Google sign in page enter my password, but when I enter the correct password, I get a window saying that my browser has disabled cookies
I tried with the in and out parameters, and it doesn't seem to work!
I have no problem to access e-mail from a web page by logging, only through Thunderbird

My first email account added works fine, so I managed to do it once so I'm confused

    Any ideas?

Thunderbird is the browser in question here. It is one of those things Gmail force on everyone being the 10000 pound gorilla in the room.

Menu (alt + T) tools > options > privacy > and turn on the acceptance of cookies.

  • After running YAC (yet another cleanser) Thunderbird now asks you a Google password, even if it connects to GMAil without a problem.

During log - on Thunderbird, a pop-up window appears asking for my Google sign-in (username and password), the only changes to the system was the functioning of YAC to clear a problem without report. I'm on Windows 7 Home premium with Thunderbird 31.2.0

My guess is your being asked your Google Calendar password.

  • How to prevent to arise after Google Identifiez_ google search you? I want to avoid that information additional poping up whatever the search engines.

Regardless of the search engine: after research adding information associated with the search engine appears below the toolbar. Example: For searches on Google, I get a Google sign in and a button with an additional search bar apps.

Hi ev2163, this is normal. This is the page of Google for Firefox. The results page is perhaps different chrome because of the intimate relationship of Google with himself.

There are a lot of things to change the appearance of web pages, and if you really want to remove this upper area from the results page, you can use several techniques:

    (1) Add on versatile such as remove it permanently, allowing you to select areas of pages to hide

    (2) custom style rule (this can be saved in a file named userContent.css or can be applied using the Stylish extension)

    (3) personalized userscript (a script that runs in the Greasemonkey extension to edit selected pages)

Maybe Google has an option somewhere to change? But I never saw one.

  • Google Calendar iFrame help

Hello!  I stuck my iframe code for my google calendar on my site of muse and instead view the public calendar - it displays the google sign in page. Help!

    Hello

It extracts the data according to your own settings, this calendar information is not displayed if they are incorporated in your Web site. So if you are already connected to your gmail account and get a glimpse of the Muse page in the same browser, it will display the content, or it will ask you to sign in. Another option is to make your calendar Public, and then paste the iframe code once again, he takes that work without connection. Please take a look at the screenshot below.

  • Cloud email & gmail emails

    Hi all

Thank you for taking the time to help me here.

I am a small business owner and I'm working on a system solution / 'better' for how to store my emails. I have my apple mail account that I have every email of significance to the business for the past 10 years. There may be 250 folders, and 86 000 emails.

For now, I have two backups time machine in different locations updated every week. If I lost all my emails is unnecessary for the company.

Can I store all my emails on icloud?

Can I export all my mails and folders to my gmail account? If so am I also could then go emails in folders with my apple mail and they will update on Gmail and vica versa. The goal would be to have my live email on my mac in the mail from apple as well as having a direct gmail account with all the files.

I use apple mail more than I find nicer than gmail.

I really just need to protect me from emails

Once again thank you for taking the time to have a read of my problem.

    See you soon,.

They are already stored in iCloud if you already use iCloud.  However, icloud company is not really recommended for its lack of robustness.

Yes, you can copy all the emails to Gmail.  Open a Gmail account is for business or pleasure.  Google offers options for professional users like you with added support.

Once the account is open, go to the (top) position (on your Mac because it is easier to do) > add account > choose Google > sign in with your Gmail ID and your password (and enter your check if you have configured that too) > once filled with Gmail > open a folder in Apple Mail > press Command A (to select all) > right click > select the copy option in the folder required Gmail you set up > rinse and repeat with the other emails and folders in Apple Mail.

  • I get "this connection is untrusted" on each site. How to solve this problem?

One day I started to use my PC and I couldn't get the eyebrows at any site, same www.google.com without receiving SSL warning. If I confirm security exception, the page loads correctly. Technical details below

www.Google.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not approved, because no sender string has been provided.
    (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

    1. my date and time settings are good.
    2 BIOS time is good
    3. I uninstalled all traces of down to all the REG keys and reinstalled Firefox (no joy)
4 I have disabled the Antivirus software
5 sites are working on IE
    6. I use Firefox 29,0/1

I was able to find and correct the problem.

Under "View certificate" The issued common name and organization both said Sendori, Inc.. This is clearly wrong, because Google sign their own certificates.

I have not explicitly installed Sendori, but I got some software that I installed Verizon fios, which must have been using Sendori. Once I have remove these programs under "programs and features" the problem disappeared.

After further research, it is a known issue and Sendori caused this problem for others in the past.

See the screenshots for before and after.

  • Why I came back to Firefox (from Chrome)

I tried diligently to use Chrome for several months, because the consensus among reviewers seemed to be that Chrome is safer.

But there are several things about Chrome that really rubs me the wrong way.

    - Groups of tabs. In Chrome, you will need to start a new instance of the browser to obtain similar functionality.

    - Bookmarks Keyboard navigation. In Chrome, you simply cannot do. In Firefox, I can get to any bookmark quickly and completely by the keyboard.

    - Support of Logmein. Behavior of LogMeIn is glitchy as Chrome. Some things do not work.

    - Print control. CTRL-P "enhanced" poster print of Chrome dialog box. But some features are difficult to control from there, so I had to train myself to use Ctrl-Shift-P for use the system print dialog boxes when I wanted to get some things (for example to print a selection of material for my PDF printer).

    - Restoration of previous Session. I have found no equivalent of this feature of Firefox history Chrome.

    - Connection of LastPass. With Chrome, LastPass d self-closing session after a certain period of inactivity - despite the LastPass settings to the contrary. With Firefox, it remains connected throughout the day.

And on top of that, I discovered that Firefox has at least some security features that Chrome did not (wish I could remember what they were!).

Another consideration: since I am most of the time still on Windows XP, Internet Explorer 9, which is supposed to be a very good browser, was not yet on the table for me.

  • How to stack Firefox tabs open (with small size) in the launch bar

    Hello!
Lately when I added the Mozilla's Firefox icon in the launch bar (on the far left of the taskbar), all open tabs were stacked (accumulated one above the other) in a stack is large or larger than the other launch bar icons (I opted for each application of small size). After you start Firefox and open tabs successive, smaller widths of tabs currently open more horizontally.  Is there a navigation to a function of change in back again?

In addition, now and then when I connect on Firefox, the connection of the homepage is Outlook, and I have to manually switch to my favorite Firefox/Google Sign In. How can I start to get rid of what I thought "86 'd", I had many times before? A small question, but irritating nevertheless.

    Thanks in advance!

  • "Starting Download"... market no longer works

I have two questions that may, or may not, be associated.  First off, I simply cannot update existing applications, or download new applications, market.  Everytime I try, it goes to the screen "Download for the start", but then does nothing... for hours.  I researched for hours and many users complain of similar problems, but many of these users use devices abroad and have recently switched from googlemail to gmail.  Switching back solved for them.  I am in the USA and never used anything else--gmail, so it's not the problem.  I also use 3 g, no WIFI - but little matter, none of them work in download apps.

I tried on my SD card, space clearing, removing unnecessary applications and clear the memory cache almost every installed application that I have, nothing helps.

Someone else has SOLVED this problem?

Related to this and also embarrassing, I have a nagging, 'Google Sign-in error' which appears in the icon at the top to try like a triangle with an exclamation mark inside.  When selected, it indicates there was a connection error and request my password for the e-mail account is registered.  Of course, I enter, but it is not 'take' and returns to the command prompt.  Despite this inconvenience, my gmail continues to send/receive perfectly and all other aspects of the phone work very well... with the exception of the question of the market described above.

I had a similar problem of sign-in on my wife's phone and it is resolved by trying to connect on its online gmail account... at which point he explained a sort of authentication failure, which I solved it by resetting her password and then by entering the password on his droid.  In my case, it does not.  I can connect just fine online... but the login prompt does not disappear on my phone.  UGH...

    Help please!

How about trying to change the password on your Gmail account.  This, by logging into your Gmail account via a computer.  Once it is changed, the next time that the Droid verifies your account it should give you a notification saying that you need to enter a new password.  Delete once that maybe is the problem.  You can erase the Gmail and Gmail app storage.  You can get these settings by clicking on the Menu-> Applications-> manage Applications-> Menu-> filter-> all.  Now type right on Gmail and erase the data.  It will give you caution against "all this application data will be permanently deleted.  Tap OK.  This will erase everything from the Gmail account.  The next time it checks all new email will get downloaded again.  I hope this helps.
