Google Calendar iFrame help

Hello!  I stuck my iframe code for my google calendar on my site of muse and instead view the public calendar - it displays the google sign in page. Help!

Hello

It extracts the data according to your own settings, this calendar information is not displayed if they are incorporated in your Web site. So if you are already connected to your gmail account and get a glimpse of the Muse page in the same browser, it will display the content, or it will ask you to sign in. Another option is to make your calendar Public, and then paste the iframe code once again, he takes that work without connection. Please take a look at the screenshot below.

I just upgraded to a new curve 8530, I had the old version of curve and google sync is the ideal platform for my emails, contacts and calendar. It was the first download I did on the new version, but I'm having problems with the calendar.

Downloads of Google calendar on my phone work fine, when I enter a new date of calendar on my computer, it creates a new event directly on my phone.

However, when I add a new event on my phone so that the comings and goings, it does not update my computer google calendar. It refreshes only one way.

I know that there must be a simple answer here, I just can't find it. Can anyone help?

Solved, basically enter the google sync options.

  • El Capitan calendar not syncing with Google calendar

    Good afternoon

I tried to sync my iCal with google calendar, and I saw that I must add the google account in system preferences. The problem is that when I try to do, ask my mac for the account details, then I choose what I want to use with this account. When I press the computer blocks and not household to add this account.

It happened right after the update to El Capitan, because before it used to work well.

    Could someone help me please?

    Thank you

    Giada

    Hi Glada Fari,

Looks like you got questions, add your Google account to your Mac after the update to El Capitan? You can try to add your Google account in the Mail application, if the problem occurs in Internet accounts. If the account is successfully added in the Mail application, you can then adjust specific sync services you want to enable in the accounts of the system preferences. If you need a few quick steps to add the account in the Mail application, please follow the links below.

Use the mail on your Mac.

OS X El Capitan: preferences of Internet accounts

This should allow you to set up your Google calendar as you like. Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. Good day.

  • Thunderbird 38.3.0: No writable calendars are configured for the invitations with the provider for Google Calendar 1.0.4

    Hello

I searched many hours today in the internet and your forums, but it seems that this problem is not solved yet:

No writable calendars are configured for the invitations with the provider for Google Calendar.

My Thunderbird is 38.3.0 and the provider for Google Calendar 1.0.4.

I put calendar.google.enableEmailInvitations; true but it did not help. I also tried [email protected]... @googlemail.com. Calendar works fine, it syncs, I see all the entries etc. But I can't accept invitations even IF she must have write access.

What can I do? Is there a solution for this?

    Thank you!
    Daniel

Use CalDAV here to access Google Calendar via lightning. I have no experience with the add-on of the provider.
In any case, it is my understanding that you must assign an e-mail address to a calendar in order to be able to accept the invitations for this calendar. I see that in your screenshot.
You can try to remove the Google calendar in lightning and re-create it. Given that all the data is on the server nothing will get lost.
Or you may want to try CalDAV.

  • Thunderbird freezes when Windows 10 fate of mode 'sleep'. SOLVED by disabling lightning, provider for Google Calendar and calendar Tweak

Since the update of Windows 7 Windows 10, Thunderbird has acted erratically. At random times, he keeps checking for new messages. If I then try to manually check for mail, it freezes. He meets some menu commands, but by clicking anywhere in the components (list the mailboxes), the list of messages, etc. does nothing. Sometimes, it opens a white notification window, which I can only get rid of kill it with Task Manager. More often, if I just close Thunderbird and start it again, it starts working normally again... For a period of time. The problem seems to happen most often when I turn Windows off mode 'sleep', but

    I'm currently under Thunderbird 38.2.0.

I tried to disable some add-ons that I wasn't really using. I'll see if that helps. I saw that he suggested that users with similar problems running Thunderbird with all disabled add-ons, but I also saw that it said that it is really only a temporary fix rather than a real solution and I agree. List of enabled extensions:

    Add-on Compatibility Reporter 1.1.1
    The Update Checker 2.13 module
    Check compatibility 1.3.1
    Compact header 2.1.0
Mark all as read button 0.7.1
Reduce to a minimum at Lac revived 1.1.2.1

Any other suggestions? Anyone else having the same problem? I saw a few others with Windows 10 problems, but nothing quite matched mine.

Thanks for the help. Until now, deactivation of lightning, provider for Google Calendar and calendar Tweaks seems to have solved the problem. If it begins to freeze again, I'll do Mode without fail a test.

  • Google calendar is read-only

I have googled and looked at the instructions on this site - no solution. I have Thunderbird 31.6.0/Lightning 3.3.3 and provider for Google Calendar 1.0.4. I retrieved the XML link and pasted as said article here

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/using-lightning-Google-Calendar

When I select a Google calendar in the dialog box and past the private XML in the form link it doesn't let me move forward. I also tried the email address that the calendar is saved to-no luck.

    Help!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It was really different in my Thunderbird. I went to "tools > Options > advanced > certificates" and selected authorities. Once there, I traveled to "Geo Trust > Geo Trust Global CA ' and choose 'change the trust '.

None of the boxes have been checked if I just checked all three. Actually not all three need to be checked, but it works now.

Thanks to everyone and especially Matt for the answer.

  • Sync Google calendar in Thunderbird/Lightning problems

    Hey all,.

So I keep a Google calendar so I can access my journal of my phone (android) and my laptop (via lightning add-on from Thunderbird). After some difficulties with my android app (that I solved), it seems today I managed to banjax Lightning: I can view my calendars very well on my phone and in a browser on the site Google.com/Calendar, but the lightning on my Thunderbird tab remains empty (almost entirely).

I tried to remove and reinstall/reapply the individual calendars themselves (there are three, a staff, two wildcard 'holiday in [country]' and "Week numbers") of lightning, as well as the two add-on Lightning the himself (v. 2.6.6) and the other "provider for Google Calendar" (version 1.0.3) you will need to make lightning plays well with Google.

The calendars are displayed in the left of the lightning pane, if you can see * something *, but it does not display the individual events - the real calendar in the center of the screen remains stubbornly empty.

Creation of new events 'test' in my browser (or my phone) is not a problem, but they do not appear in lightning, nor my pre-existing events. * New * events created in lightning, however, will appear in my browser if I press the "sync" button in Thunderbird and can be successfully edited and removed from the browser.

I hope I'm missing something obvious...?

OK, got it solved... but I don't know why.

I tried updates (for Thunderbird, Lightning, the provider for Google Calendar, call you) yesterday when it first happened, but it seemed that everything was up to date. First thing this morning, an update for Thunderbird itself was available - installation (to 31.3.0) invite to an update of the lightning (at paragraph 3.3.1), although the provider of Google is always v. 1.0.3.

Once the updates have been made, I disabled the provider, subscribed to my calendars and resubscribed... and found my events. Everything works as it should now.

Hope this helps someone in the same situation, in that I was!

  • Lightning invites you to a password entry when trying to complete the addition of my google calendar so I get home and it does not - no error message

I copy the URL of calenndar private google calendar, walk in the menus on the card of lightning to install and he asks me my google username and password. I go and the box flashes for a second and the password entry is empty - as it does not recognize it.

    Help, please!

    Thank you

    Steve

I solved the problem. Google sent me a notice saying that my access had been blocked, as an unknown user attempted to open a session. When I open the notification, google suggested I have reduce my safety if I want non-secure apps to access. So, I allowed. Then I added calendar, entered my password, that is.

Thanks for your help. Just a matter of securities with google - distinct from two-factor authentication - this seems more than a switch of global security permission.

  • Why Google Calendar is now insensitive to 31.0 FF?

My roommate (an avid user of Apple) and I share a Google Calendar. Until a week ago, I could open Google calendar in Firefox (v31.0) and just add my events. Now, nothing does, click nothing. If I use Chrome, all is well. FF is my browser of choice. Some parameters of mine made to change somehow? Must I change?

    Hello

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables certain parameters, disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

    • In previous versions of Firefox, click on the Firefox button in the upper left of the Firefox window and click help (or click on help in the Menu bar, if you do not have a Firefox button) and click on restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

  • Calendar (lightning) does not connect to Google Calendar

I read this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-lightning-google-calendar , but I still seem to have some difficulty getting flashes to work with Google.

All I'm trying to do is to get read-only access to the calendar (read/write would be ideal, but it seems provider for Google calendar was not compatible with Thunderbird/Lightning for awhile), if I did the following:
    -Made my Google public calendar
    -Copy the iCal URL
-Created a new calendar in lightning using the Google iCal URL

I tried all possible combinations of "http" / "https" and iCal and CalDAV, without success. None of my events/appointments will appear in the lightning at all, even if calendars are created "successfully."

    I use:
    -Mac OS X 10.9.2 "snipers".
    -Thunderbird 31.0
    -Lightning 3.3

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

There is always a compatible version of the provider for Google calendar available on AMO. You need version 0.32 for 3.3 lightning.
    https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Thunderbird/addon/provider-for-Google-Calendar/

Alternatively you can access your Google Calendar via CalDAV.
