CineBench OpenGL really slow - how to fix?

(Mac Pro 8-core + NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT) & gt; OS X 10.5.6 & gt; (VMWare Fusion 2.0 + VMWare Tools) (XP Pro (32 bit) to BootCamp):

I tried running the CineBench benchmark but its OpenGL test, which is quickly under a different virtualuizer, is unbearably slow under Fusion. Something is radically wrong - way to solve this problem?

I note that XP Desktop "& gt; Properties & gt; Settings"says display adapter is 'VMWare SVGA II' which sounds very general so maybe he doesn't know how to interact properly with my graphics card? Do I need to install another type of driver etc to allow him to take full advantage of this card?

Everything was a new installation. In fact, I started from scratch twice.

We do not support OpenGL in the prompt still while you run the emulated OpenGL software.  For the moment, only DirectX 9.0 c is supported.

The VMware SVGA II adapter is the video card that we present at the prompt.  It is not possible to operate your host video drivers in the comments because that the guest can not see the video card physical at all.  Instead, a video driver is provided with the comment tools from VMware providing hardware acceleration for Windows.

Now when I try to install Centos 4.8 and even windows XP Professional in HyperV 2012, it of extremely slow, probably qwill takes 2 hours just to install XP, (I am aware Centos 4.8 iss not supported by Microsoft for reasons of competition), try using HyperV is also very slow, I already posted this on Microsoft forum.

Can someone tell me please how to fix programs icon who turned into VLC player? I really need your help guys as soon as possible...

From what you have stated above, I think that the file association for LNK files has been given misdirection to the VLC Player. I've seen this happen when opening a program via a shortcut (for example. LNK file), you are asked what type of program to open it with. After selecting the VLC Player (or another program) via the Select a program from a list of programs installedand check always use the selected program to open this type of file (circled in red below), the document or program referenced by the shortcut of origin opens in VLC Player as it should.

The problem is that now all shortcuts (for example. LNK files) on the desktop or in the browser will want to be opened by VLC Player and VLC Player icon to view the shortcut no matter what shortcut was originally intentioned to open. This is known as a file association and the default icon. The same condition can occur if you have performed these actions 'Open with' on one. JPG or even a. EXE, but the. LNK explanation is much more likely for the items on the desktop.

The good news is that a small free utility was written to cancel the. LNK file association was created. There is also a registry hack to achieve, but I recommend the utility unAssoc for its ease of use. I used to send people on another site to download this utility, but this site has become confused with all the ads and fake download links. I put a copy on own OneDrive here.

Just download, then use the utility to unassociate the. LNK files for the user or globally delete the file type and let windows rebuild a new default.

can anyone else confirm this? Certainly this isn't a software issue because I tried a few different copies of xp and vista. IM about to bin it now.

    > anyone can confirm this?
Don t think someone could confirm everything that is related to a malfunction of the equipment.
Here in the forum, we can talk about problems and makers of disorders, but no one will be able to say with certainty what's going wrong here.

First laptop computer is an oldie.
The Mobile Intel Pentium 4 CPU, isn t a up to date CPU and in my opinion, that don't expect too much performance.

I put t know how this camera supports memory but everything below 1 GB of Ram would be good enough to the smooth running of the laptop.

However, given that the unit works much faster saving mode, I guess there must be a hardware related problem.
