  I have a stupid question to ask.

  Can I know what is the traffic load and the e/s flow between firepower Cisco ASA and FireSight Management Center?

  Currently working on a project, client require such information to adapt to their network. Tried to find in the document from Cisco, but no luck.

  Maybe you all have no idea to provide.

  It varies depending on the number of events reported from the module to the CSP. No event = only health controls and policy changes are exchanged. 10,000 events per second = much more traffic.

  Generally it is not a heavy load, however.

  I deploy my network Cisco Management Center (for VMWare, v. 6.0.0) FirePOWER and tie SFR-module of Cisco ASA 5512. After you apply time in CMF settings, I have a synchronization errors for my module SFR ("TimeFor 172.16.x.x synchronization state is out-of-sync").

  This article presents a framework that allow the synchronization time SFR-module with CMF. But I don't have an option to set the time on managed devices, just for the CMF.

  Please, tell me how I can solve this problem. Thank you!

  I just went through this with TAC.  They pointed out that the documentation states that you should not synchronize SFR with a virtual CMF.  I found myself defining the CMF and SFR as you pull my domain controller, and everything was fine.

  You can install a management center of firepower of Cisco on a stand-alone server and not a virtual machine?  Here is a guide for the virtual machine:

  but I couldn't find one for a stand-alone server. Or what I can use this procedure for a stand-alone server.

  Looks like the only option of will not not with a virtual machine is to get the device itself.

  To install on a server bare metal, you could first put ESXi (free version) on it and then run FMC as the virtual machine only on that. I've had clients do this and it works fine.

  Dear experts,

  I'm quite new with the firepower of Cisco. I have 2 ASA5555 Cisco with firepower and deploy as a active / standby. We have three zone inside and OUTSIDE management. Firesight server is the stay in the planning area. I registered all module Cisco firepower at the center of Firesight project and I manage traffic inspection by fire on cisco ASA power module already. I applied the rule by default IPS for the registered device. I kept it for 2 days after that I do not throw an eye on cisco FireSight there is no any information. He showed 'No Data'. I wonder that I may miss configuration. I try to re - register the devices but it still the same. Please see the diagram below for more details.

  I would like to have support for this issue. If you have any questions please let me know

  -INTERIOR interface: ip add 192.168.100.x/24

  Since this is a new installation, try installing the latest code to use all the new features with the device. After a correct installation and having all the required license, including Firesight host license you must ensure that the traffic was correctly redirected to cross the Firepower.If of firepower redirects the traffic that you see the same thing by activating logging under the strategy of policy access control > Access Control > rules > Logging > logging at the beginning of the connection or the logging at the end of the connection. Once after you have enabled logging, save and reapply or redeploy policy changes. Each device has its own database connection parameters. You can check out the following link and see how many events can be stored in the device.

  If you can see the respective connection events under analysis > connection events, the dashboard data must also complete. If you have already activated the above and still no events are coming so please proceed as follows by the connection to Firesight CLI by raising for the root user.

  (1) check that the following service is running

  pmtool status | grep SFTop10Cacher

  (2) restart the service

  pmtool restartbyid SFTop10Cacher

  (3) you should see the service as running with a different pid

  pmtool status | grep SFTop10Cacher

  Check the scoreboard after 30 minutes.

  I have problem with firepower User Agent, when I want to add a power of fire management center agent, then I get the error "cannot connect to the management center of firepower." You can find the error in the attachment! I have already added the User Agent in the CMF.

  My Version of power of fire management centre is 6.0.0.1

  You don't need to open it manually. If you have added the CMF officer, then it should be opened by default. What I wanted was to ensure that there is no intermediate firewall between the agent and the CMF.

  You can capture packets on FMC cli and check if traffic reaches here.

  I'm setting up a asa 5515 x with firepower now services, I wanted to add to Manager unfortunately I updated the sfr to 6.0.1 module but I installed management center version 6.0.0 vm. now I have to upgrade to 6.0.1, but I can't find the package of appropriate for this update. In fact, I found a few packages to these addresses:

  Can someone help me through this? I use the vm wrong? or do I have to install the iso one from scratch?

  Upgrade your Management Center fire power using the file "Sourcefire_3D_Defense_Center_S3_Upgrade - 6.0.1 - 1214.sh.

  You would first download this file cisco.com to your PC, then load it on CMF.

  I installed everything that was on the list under my laptop which is u400-146 and I still lack some programs

  I got program I was like Management Center for laptop, I was able to adjust the speed of the brightness of the fan on the processor speed of cd, hard drive, hour after
  reverythig has been automatically swich off, it was like a large Center to do.

  Now, I have a few small programs... but they are not controll that. !

  V is standing for VOICE, not virtual. Vg224 is gateway224 of voice. The answers for your quastion will be...

  1 - Yes, it is sufficient.

  2 - CUCM administration page > device > gateway > find. Select your gateway, change the mac address (10 digits) of the old appliance with a new one.

  3. with the help of sccp Protocol, CUCM don't care about ip address, it's care only about mac address. If the answer is, NO.

  Centralized management is well covered in the manuals. If you're on 7.6 in the chapter of the Advanced User Guide 8.  You can also use the online help which has the same information (make sure you spell centralized with a 'z' not an "s").

  Centralized management is essentially about how to manage a set of devices in a cluster, and if you configure that you configure all.
