Cisco IP Phone 9971 video call

Dear all,

I am running CUCM 8.5.

I have two 9971 ip phone. Both on the phone are registerg with CUCM and works very well. But I need to set up a video call between them.

Can anyone tell me how I can perform this task.

Will be very grateful for your support.

Kind regards

Malik.

You can directly activate the video under the phone company - the system-wide Configuration, under a common device, or profile on the configuration of the two devices. To do this you must enable the Cisco camera and video capabilities. Don't forget to check the settings common substitute to force your change take effect at this level.

If both phones are in different regions/locations do not forget there is sufficient bandwidth video available between the two.

    Hello

Can sombody please confirm is it possible to record the ip cisco cp-9971 phone on a cisco vcs control server directly. If possible, I appreciate a guide or a document for this. I have a vcs on x7.1 control.

    Thank you.

    Hi tof.

Registration of cisco phones are completely different with the process how a normal end point sip/h.323 register on VCS

When the cisco phone register it search TFTP get the firmware, which is obviously not available with VCS. Another important part to phone record 9971 are CTL file and other parameters that are not available with VCS and so what you're trying is not possible.

    See you soon

    Hello

How can I use IP phone 9971 session call buttons to be used for line speed dial or intercom?

    Your help will be appreciated.

    Thank you

You can not, you can only assign one of the 6 buttons line as another option, the session call buttons are dedicated to call the session.

This problem has been posted here before. https://supportforums.Cisco.com/discussion/11651601/3905-issue-making-call

Except in my case, I only use 3905 and calls cannot take place. See my sh run and debug errors and debugging ccsip attached massages ccsip. Thanks for your help.

    Hello

In my view, that the call fails because the phone of 3905 Announces g729annexB codec. could you please try to configure "voice-class codec" or a "codec G711a/G711u' command under voice register pools 1-4 and check the behavior?

  • Cisco Unified Video Advantage connect not not Cisco IP Phone

Hi, I have the following text:

    • CUVA 2.2.2.0 installed on windows 7 x 64.
    • UC560.
    • IP phone 7965.

The first time I installed the program, everything was ok, didn t try the video feature, but it was connecting and recognize.

Now I'm with another phone, also a 7965 but CUVA said that it is not connected. He also says: "cisco unified video advantage can't connect to cisco ip phone" and asked him to contact the system administrator.

It has been a long time (about 3 weeks) because I checked the last time he was working on the previous phone, I'm not sure if it's because I'm on another phone now, but I do not.

    Any ideas?

When you go to CUVA-> all show the driver see CDP?

Have you tried to close your wireless adapter or set a higher metric?

Got a GPO that would restrict CUVA on windows firewall?

    Second; CTMS + TP + CCM 8.5 1000 + 3945 (3900-universalk9-mz. Spa.150 - 1.M4.bin).

I tried video call on the cube for the cube. I did some configs but will try tomorrow J.

  • Webex Cloud CMR SIP video calls disconnect after 20 seconds

    Hello

I am running version 9.1 with Exressway-C CUCM / 8.6 Expressway-E.  I have no problem doing business SIP video calls.  However when I make video calls on a site of WebEx CMR, the call becomes still cut off after 20 seconds.  It is audio and video for the first 20 seconds and then disconnects the call.

I was able to recreate this situation of 3 of my clients running CUCM version 9.

I have 2 clients running CUCM v10.5 and the issue is not the case.  I don't know if this question is 100% related to the CUCM version, but looks like a correlation obviouse.

I watched the SIP trace and it seems that the endpoint CUCM is end the call with normal call clearing.  I tried 8945 phones, jabber for iphones and a C40 and I get the same results.

If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Can you receive calls B2B? During the call set up, Webex will try to set up another session TCP inbound to your E Expressway on port 5060 and 5061, do you have this open to outside within the TCP sessions? (see page 5 of the CMR-Cloud deployment guide: http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/sol...)

If they are open, the TCP session is configured for an incoming invitation with complete SDP of the TPS Cloud, you can check your sip max message size is located at 11000 - if you went from CUCM ~8.6 5000 was the default size and the default continues for an upgrade.  Check under system-> Service settings-> CUCM service-> show click on the button to display all options, and then check the size of incoming messages SIP advanced Max.

  • Requirements for video calls between two companies with Ex90

    Hello

where can I get information in the order two video calls Ex90 defined between the two companies, each company has its own server CM 8.6 and Ex90 phones.

for the momment I know just we need video communications server, but I would like to get info on how about Communications Server config and whether a specific config is required in CM server.

    concerning

If we assume that both companies want to stick to a Cisco solution, then you will need to use a control VCS Cisco and VCS Expressway (VCS-E). You can also remove this with a solution of VCS StarterPack (according to the needs for scalability and other design objectives). The two entities should have a solution in place.

At a high level, you would have a SIP trunk of the AAU to VCS. VCS has a relationship of peering with VCS-E and the VCS - E is sitting in your public DMZ. The VCS-E to Cust A can communicate with the VCS-E to Cust B. You can do this in fact through a peering model (commissioning on both devices of VCS - E) or you can simply use DNS and URI component to facilitate the call installation introduction.

You will of course face the network aspect (IP addressing, the rules of firewall, etc.). You need a coordination "numbering plan" according to which (if any) the URI dialing rules have been established by organizations. With versions of the CUCM prior to 9.x, you shouldn't that numbering URI has a little support limited. CUCM 9.0 adds some improvements of numbering URI. Not that you must be about 9.0 or version later to do what you want, just that you have a different set of parameters to function as with the pre - 9.0 version.

The above is pretty generic, but it can give you a point of reference to start with.

    HTH.

  • DX650 - just CUCM for video calling?

We have 10 CUCM, running on a BE6K.  We ordered only some video settings (DX650).

Will be one person to the other working video call for users on our cluster CUCM?  I know that external calls to Cisco TelePresence Server/Cisco TelePresence driver/highway.  But I guess that for phone-to-phone internal video we don't need what it is?

And CUWL standard will be enough?

    Thank you, Bill

Point to point call will work without any problem. You may need to have improved license because I believe that it is regarded as a telepresence device.

  • no room for video calls

I just signed up Skype and there is no such thing as videoconferencing

If you are on a Windows phone (I assume that you are that you posted in the section of Windows phone). A few things could help us help you, what version on Windows and what kind of phone its could be useful.

I use Windows 10 with the update of the anniversary so I now use the preview of Skype, I click on the contact I want to call, top right is a call button, next to which is a button with three dots, click on that and select video call.

  • Samsung Galaxy s3 video calls on Skype

Video calls cannot be made through Skype on my Samsung galaxy s3. It is not even an option to make video calls. Is it possible, this can be corrected? Thank you

I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 and can make video calls, but not at first. By default on the phone app is to have video telephony disabled. I had to go to the Skype application settings and turn it on. I had to take advantage of my sister who was trying to videocall me with its new Samsung to do the same. I don't know if that's what happened with yours. Its worth the trip.

  • Can't see the caller on my iPhone to make a video call

How can I configure my iPhone 4s to display the appellant to make a video call. I can see me on my phone and the caller can also see me on their PC

I found my problem: I had two of names/contact Skype different requests for the same person. Once I deleted a 'bad', everything worked and I could then see the video on my iPhone.

  • Status when not to answer a video call

When I call someone for a video call & it sounds for a while with no answer, after he hangs up he usually says 'call to Joe Bloe, no answer' but sometimes, it will say "call to Joe Bloe, busy. What does it mean when it says busy? They are on another video call Skype or a regular phone call? Why he would say busy rather than no answer?

The "busy" reply means that contact calls you declined your call, perhaps because they were on another call, but perhaps also for any other reason.

Please note: I do not answer requests for help via private Message.
