Cisco Unified Video Advantage connect not not Cisco IP Phone
Hi, I have the following text:
- CUVA 2.2.2.0 installed on windows 7 x 64.
- UC560.
- IP phone 7965.
The first time I installed the program, everything was ok, didn t try the video feature, but it was connecting and recognize.
Now I'm with another phone, also a 7965 but CUVA said that it is not connected. He also says: "cisco unified video advantage can't connect to cisco ip phone" and asked him to contact the system administrator.
It has been a long time (about 3 weeks) because I checked the last time he was working on the previous phone, I'm not sure if it's because I'm on another phone now, but I do not.
Any ideas?
When you go to CUVA-> all show the driver see CDP?
Have you tried to close your wireless adapter or set a higher metric?
Got a GPO that would restrict CUVA on windows firewall?

Hello
I was wondering if Cisco Unified Video Advantage has been supported in operating systems other than Windows?
Any help is very appreciated.
Lol CUVA uses a Windows driver only COP to get this magic. Anyway WHAT CUVA's EoS and its functionality is deferred in the CUPC/Jabber products.

Cisco Ip phone 3905 calls do not
We have 15 Cisco IP phone 3905 on a network with CUCME ver 9.1. Phones record fine and received number EXT. It has tone. But we can't write another post after dialing '1' the tone cut and nothing happens.
This problem has been posted here before. https://supportforums.Cisco.com/discussion/11651601/3905-issue-making-call
Except in my case, I only use 3905 and calls cannot take place. See my sh run and debug errors and debugging ccsip attached massages ccsip. Thanks for your help.

In my view, that the call fails because the phone of 3905 Announces g729annexB codec. could you please try to configure "voice-class codec" or a "codec G711a/G711u' command under voice register pools 1-4 and check the behavior?

Group-alias VPN_SPO_ARTERIS
Then test the connection.

Hello
I just bought a new Ipad mini and I installed Skype on it, but the video does not. The sound works on Skype, but when I call someone, he said only: "video initialization" and the video never connects. I am able to speak with them, but they can't see me. My video webcam works on my ipad mini, but not on the Skype program.
Please help with any suggestions as to why this is happening. Is it a problem to apple or Skype?
Thank you!
Just to add to Robo,
Solution was to activate Facetime on Ipad first, then out in the application.
This has enabled voice and video calls via Skype.

Do not connect not direct wireless
My new printer hp deskjet 3545 ink advantage does not connect with my laptop direct wireless but it works in connection with a USB cable.
Hello
Be sure to check the following points:
● Close all applications that are running on your computer, including the internal firewall and any other firewall detection or virus software.
● Disable your Internet connection. If you have cable or DSL, unplug the Ethernet cable to the back of your computer. If you have remote access, unplug the phone cord.
● Disable all connections to the local network (including Ethernet) other than your wireless connection. In addition, disable all IEEE 1394 (such as Firewire, i.LINK, or Lynx) for Ethernet connections.
-Click the Windows Start button, click Control Panel, and then double-click network connections.
-Right click on each connection to the Local network and then click on disable. If you enable it in the context menu, the connection to the Local network is already disabled. After that:
● create a profile on your computer wireless network
● Connect the HP all-in-one device to the wireless networkWhen you are finished, install the software as described in install the software.

Used the update and now the video card is not recognized
I updated updater manual update and have not updated anything since early December, 01/30/10 I installed the 5 important updates that were listed, I don't remember who they were, after installing the computer needed to restart and after the recovery, the video card is no longer recognized. I get the BIOS beep code for no video card or bad video memory. I know that this seems to be a hardware problem, but this computer worked fine until these updates. Now that the video card is not recognized, I can't even get into the BIOS, and still less actually starting windows. Any help/ideas what caused this and how can I fix this are greatly appreciated, thank you very much. Even a list of the latest important updates might be useful, I can't seem to find a list of anywhere.
System-Vista Home Premium 64-bit
Palit-card nVidia GeForce 9600 GT graphics cardOh and I took out that graphic card and put in a different one, nVidia PNY GeForce 7900 GS and always get the same error code. I also disconnected and removed the battery from the motherboard to reset the BIOS, still the same problem.
Hi JohnyDick,
This problem seems to be due to the updates of Windows, although it could be a coincidence.
I first you recommend to remove the nVIDIA graphic card and connect the monitor to the onboard graphics card, then try to start the computer.
If the problem persists then I recommend you to contact the computer manufacturer for assistance.I hope this helps.
Thank you, and in what concerns:

Video player does not play movie every time
Hello
I am a beginner with flash technology . I use "Flex builder 4.5" and tries to insert a video on a web site that play a lot of films (on DP or Direct Play mode).
My problem is that the video player does not load the film selected each time (it fail to initialize) and (how to explain properly...) when gel loading, if I select the same movie again in the list, it load it in a second.
For me, a video is "charged" when metadata are received (video in day time) and the play button is on.
But the method is called to load the video (in fact initialization) is the same every time. I have change the attribute 'source' of the video player, and the initialize() method is called automatically.
Can you help me find how to make sure that load a video on my player (in 100% of cases) which extends from the Flex mx.controls.VideoDisplay?
Or can you explain why the video player does not load the video as well on Firefox than IE or SAFARI (on MAC)? Is the plugin different? Because on an old computer with IE, the video player do not work at all (never load movies).
For now, I think to add a timer on load and every 30 seconds restart the method init if video not yet initialized. But this isn't a solution, just a patch that may not work.
I'm french, sorry for syntax errors or other. I tried to be as clear as possible. Feel free to correct me!
Happy new year to all...
Okay, I solved it by myself.
So if this could help someone, I use the attribute "stateChange" of the VideoDisplay component to manage the loading film correctly. This site help me powerfully:
Good luck next time.

Your list of details of the system that does not have the Shockwave Flash plugin is installed and activated.

You can find links to the latest version of Shockwave Flash player for Firefox on this page:
You can check on the Page of Test Adobe Flash players that the Flash plugin works and what version you have.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance

Video images do not scale correctly
In Firefox video images do not fit properly. This affects both Flash and HTML5 example youtube.com videos videos for example twitch.tv.
When going to the movies to see in youtube, or close the side panels in contraction, the framework will extend to the left and to the right, leaving black bars on the side, but the video does not fit and the framework does not increase in height.
I don't have the problem in Mode safe and also not in Chrome. However I still have the problem in Firefox with all extensions disabled. I tried deleting cookies, cache and update of Firefox, but the problem persists. I also tried to disable hardware acceleration in Flash Player and Firefox, but this does not resolve the issue.Safe mode also disables userChrome.css and userContent.css. If you have created or any of these files to customize Firefox, you can check if these rules affect video sites.
Oh, wait, the problem persists even after that you used refresh? That would have removed these customizations. (I assume you have tested before going back to the old settings.)

My Fire Fox download video in support not detected on you tube. It is always shows only the first video that i was downloaded.pls help
I don't think there is much you can do about it outside the use of workaround to reload the page until this problem is corrected.
There is this bug on this problem:
I don't know if other extensions download suffer from this issue, as well, so you can try a little more try the website of the add-on and if possible use a different format like WebM, if they are available.
Also note that not all videos are downloaded and registered correctly. Some may have a size of 0 bytes and fail to download, so, best is to check in downloads of the toolbar Manager in the drop-down list to make sure that the file size is correct (i.e. neither 0 bytes, but a more likely size).
YouTube streaming makes changes to the code and the way its web pages work, so extensions can fail at any time.
