Cisco MX200/MX300 & screen tactile EX90 and Crestron

Does anyone know if they can control these units using a Crestron touchscreen?   I know the other c40/c60 c90, codecs, can be controlled via a screen touch crestron, but not sure about these.

I ask because we put 8 of these units in conference rooms that already have a Crestron in them and want to use only one of the panels rather than having the two sat on the table.

First of all, I want to mention that even if you try to use the Touch panels, it wouldn't work. The reason being that when Cisco Touch Panel is connected, it takes control of the OSD and it is not possible to control using other interfaces. I recommend that you use only the Crestron.

Come to the second part. In Ex90, there is a maintenance RJ45 port at the bottom that can be used to combat it. If you can get the cable for RJ45 connected on Ex90 to one end of the cable and the other end to Crestron, I think you should be able to achieve the desired results.

For the MX series, there is a serial port, allowing you to control the device, so I think you can plugin the Crestron using the serial port and you should be able to send commands to it and control it. However, keep in mind that if the Cisco button panel is connected, you could face questions by using the Crestron. For your reference, you will find the parameters of the serial port on the Mx series below:

SerialPort Mode

Set the COM 1 serial port to be enabled/disabled.

Requires the user role: ADMIN

Value space:

On: Enable the serial port COM 1.

OFF: Disables the serial port COM 1.

Example: SerialPort Mode: on

SerialPort BaudRate

Specify the speed of transmission (data transmission rate, bits per second) for the COM 1 port on the codec.

The default is 38400.

Connection of the COM port settings: data bits: 8; Parity: None; Stop bits: 1; Flow control:

None.

Requires the user role: ADMIN

Value space:<9600 9200/38400/57600/115200="">

Range: Select a baud rate listed baud rate (bps).

I can't find enough information to feel confident about ordering this Dell laptop forums.  I can go to the 7000 series with a 4 GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960 M graphics, but I'm not a gamer.

    CS6 works fime on my Dell workstation.

    Sorry, misread the Gen1 in your message.  Yes, the 8 Touch works with old Gen 1 MX200 of TC software running.  This is mentioned on the MX200 data sheet.  Older hardware (MX Gen1 and C40/60/90) press the 8 only and cannot be upgraded to the new software for THIS.

    We seem to be faced with a problem trying to upgrade a unit EX90 TC 4.2 (from 4.1.2) using a method that has been a success on other units EX90. Has anyone seen this before or got some ideas to troubleshoot it?

    Through the page web administration, we simply select software upgrade and use the 4.2 package. It passes by sending package, the web page says that it is installed and then says it is restarted. The web page finally said 'initializing the page' but then when connect us to the page it is still ongoing 4.1.2.

    Any ideas? I couldn't find anything in the log files, but I'm not sure what to look for.

    Just for the record you.

    Cisco has identified a series of EX90 coming from manufacturing systems that have a defect that could make it impossible to upgrade the software of the device. If they try to upgrade a system assigned to TC4.2.0 the upgrade process will take place as usual, but when the system reboots it will always run the old software. However, the system will work as usual, but you will not be able to upgrade to TC4.2.

    Solution: RMA the EX90 and make sure that the RAM is a replacement 'new material '.

    Therefore trigger a RMA SR for your case.

    Is the empty screen, because just the screen is broken, or is the iPad just dead? Have you tried a soft-reset/reboot it?

    At least you can see what you touch on the screen of the iPad, you cannot force a backup to iCloud.

    If the iPad still works and is connected to wifi, a backup should automatically happen (if iCloud backups are enabled) if it is connected and the locked screen.

    I just took the new smartphone Iphone SE in April 2016. It worked perfectly fine for the months that I had it until last night. I was recording playing me the guitar, when I put the phone down with the camera open for a few seconds. When I went to get the phone upwards, the screen was frozen and colors have been melted. The multicolored lines appeared as well. I tried to close the application by pressing the home button, and when I tried to press the sleep button to access the lock screen, the phone went black. When I went to press the sleep button to access the lock screen, the phone opens the same screen frozen, multicolored as before. I panicked and hard reset the phone. I turn on is no longer the phone. No apple logo appears, as well as logos 'connect to Itunes '. I tried to restore the phone to factory via Itunes, but it was without result.

    Surprisingly, when I went to restore the phone, the second time, serial number has changed from a game of numbers and letters invalid "s/o," as if Itunes is no longer permitted to detect it as an iPhone. In addition, the phone is now considered as a completely new system on Itunes, which I don't know is normal.

    Your phone is not hacked and all the malware only you could catch is malicious cookies in Safari or other browsers that are removed easily by clearing their cache. I suspect you have a hardware problem, nothing more, that should solve the Apple store.

    Double-tap the screen with three fingers and then go to settings > general > accessibility >... put the Zoom wide.

    I understand that your w15e HP LCD monitor continues to blink off and off and you seek help to fix. I provided you with a few steps, you can try below:

    Step 1. Unplug the power cord at the back of the screen and the wall
    Step 2. Press and hold the power button for at least a minute
    Step 3. Plug the power cable in the monitor, and then to the wall outlet (not a power bar or surge protector)
    Step 4. Press the Menu button on the monitor
    Step 5. Navigate to the factory reset option and select

    If the steps above did not resolve your issue, you can try the monitor on a computer or other device to see if the problem persists. If not I think it would be preferable that you contact HP Support for service options.

    In my opinion, your settings on the laptop are right but please check your TV also. I put t know if your TV is a S-video port or you use a S-video adapter. Please check menu TV. Maybe it's for S-video option in the port.

    If the TV doesn't have a S-video port, you can connect your unit as follows:

    For me, it looks like serious hardware problem.
    What you can do is to test the device with an external monitor:
    Connect the external display and check if you see something like start screen for Toshiba, etc if you see something like that, then internal laptop screen is defective and must be replaced if not if nothing would seem-> the related problem of the motherboard.
