Cisco SMTP messages sent from node

When you configure ISE with an SMTP server, which node alarm emails are sent to? The terrain, PAN or PSN?

How about you for comments related to emails, would it be the same node as the alarms?

SMTP mail can come from a PAN, Mnt or PSN node, according to the function or feature citing an email.

Associated comments e-mail more often comes the PSN even if the notice of expiry reviews (if configured) would come from the Pan

I can't find this option in the documentation.

    Are there?

Yes, in your BIS account for this email address configuration. Change the configuration and at the bottom, you will see a checkbox automatically BCC messages.

Then, on your Outlook, you can set a filter for incoming messages of yourself to be re-directed to your sent folder.

  • Messages sent from one account comes back as another

    People:

I recently moved to 10.9 after many years to 10.6... I have multiple e-mail accounts set up in the two [I have a triple boot MBPro 09]... but lately spend most of my time to 10.9.  A number of times where I got Mail highlighted in my account at the top of the page, sent an e-mail to him... but the answer comes back to the account number two, reported as being on the second account?  Check "sent" from the number an account shows that it was sent from this account. but the return/reply came back at number two and marked as ' of' the second.  Both accounts are distinct types and it's a bit embarrassing to have that happen... Since "accounts" do not have "send as" or options "answer to" I don't know how this happens...  In fact a few years ago, my wife running 10.6 MacBook had the same question... do not think that we have never solved this problem... so I think that it is a "known issue" with Mail... do not know what is "known" in this topic.

    Thank you

Try mail/preferences/AccountType account information. Select an account, and then access the server of outgoing (SMTP) mail. In the menu drop-down select list server SMPT Edit. Then set up a server for each e-mail account that is associated with the e-mail address. Then go to each account and set this server as the Mail Server outgoing (SMTP). You can click on use only this server if you wish.

Mail/preferences/writing/sending messages - set to the selected mailbox account.

  • Messages sent from the wrong account

I have 3 accounts gmail on T-Bird. When I send an email to an account, it goes to the recipient as if sent by one of the other accounts. two accounts of work and a private and I'm not really them mixed. Any suggestions?

Y at - it with googlemail accounts?

If you use googlemail smtp server to send, it inserts the address googlemail in sent messages. You are a few solutions:

    1. Set up specific googlemail smtp 'accounts', one for each ' from: ' address.
    2. Addresses non-googlemail account googlemail, allowing them to be used as ' from: ' addresses. If you do this, it may be appropriate to set the default address as additional identity in Thunderbird.
    3. Find an smtp server alternative non-googlemail. Maybe one offered by your ISP provider or by e-mail.

In addition to all this, check in Thunderbird that he offered a suitable from: address. It will be by default using whatever account you happen to be open at the time you create a new message. Sale: addresses are available in a drop-down menu at the top of the form in which you write a message, even if the googlemail smtp server is ignoring this and silently to insert its own address.

If it's a simple matter of you forget to check the From: address, there are to many Add-ons available to help with this, since a simple with color that requires you to make a choice, to more complex types, analyzing the message to which you answer. I find that these types are not quite as effective when starting a new e-mail messages, by opposition to forward or respond.

  • Outlook Express does not accept attachments or links in e-mail messages sent from Outlook!

I am trying to solve this problem for my mom, that's NOT it at all, and she lives in another State!

I use Outlook (had Office 2007 on XP but now set to level to 2010 on Win7).  My mother uses Outlook Express with Vista.

Whenever I have send his spare part, she can't open them.  They are all photos.  She said: "there is no where to click."  When I've been there and have been able to test this, she's right: there is not a paper clip (i.e., no attachment).  She also told me that he "didn't there no place to click" on the links that I send, also.  Oddly, this happens with another person that I send to, which (by chance) Outlook Express also used.  I never hear of someone else.  I think there are some setting on their ends, but I was not able to understand.  There is nothing click on slot the Internet Option settings to allow attachments (he said something about it in the option, but it is not a clickable area next).

Anyone know what could be the problem?  Thank you very much for your help.

You must attach the images to an e-mail message in plain textformat. Outlook Express and quite a few other email clients, do not include Outlook to RTF (Rich Text Format) and will never see the attachment. Bruce Hagen

  • Messages sent from XAI - flat file vs. Outbound sender of the Message Sender

I have a CC & B 2.3 environment running with demo data and test stuff with XAI.

    I created the following configuration:
    1. new business based on the outgoing Message MO object
    2. new Type of outgoing Message associated with this BO
    3. new XAI sender that uses the class of XAI FLATFILESNDR
    4. new external system that connects the new Type of outgoing new XAI sender Message.

Next, I set up a Type of case that creates an instance of the BO triggered by an algorithm of status enter. It all works very well and an outgoing waiting Message is created. Now when I start the MPL an XML file is generated successfully. So far so good :)

Question 1: if I set in the configuration of XAI sender use a file name as template "Message$ $ID.xml" the generated XML file looks exactly like this, however him $$ID is replaced with an unknown ID. According to the help documentation, it should be a NDS and NDS file entry is not used when working with outgoing Messages, as far as I know. Then who can tell me what kind of ID is used in the name of the file? It is not the outgoing Message ID.

Question 2: When I change the configuration of XAI sender use the XAI OUTMSGSNDR instead of the FLATFILESNDR class I got errors when the MPL treats an outgoing pending Message. I get the message: Sender 'null' not found. At first, I thought may be due to automatic schema validation, but even if I disable this option in the Options of XAI error returns. The documentation is unclear about setting up a sender of XAI XAI OUTMSGSNDR class using. Everyone here was able to get this thing to work? Should I specify some options in the context of the XAI sender tab?

Published by: Ruud van den Brand, June 1, 2010 05:27

Question 1. In v1.5 when you use NDS and the $$ID was identical to the ID of NDS, but since v2 and the introduction of the outgoing Message, I think you will find that the randomly generated number. If you want to be able to give this file a meaningful name have a look at the following 2 hotfixes (6732869, 7420329).

Question 2. If you take a look at your OUTMSGRCVR receiver you will see the OUTMSGSNDR sender as the answer...
Note that these are reported only once, and are used to process outgoing messages.
They are not used to send the message to external systems. The real sender to external systems is the external sender. Do not use the OUTMSGSNDR here.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how can I change my signature & other texts on my outgoing emails sent from my mobile?

When I bought my Blackberry Torch 9800 (2 years), I managed (somehow) add text by giving my name, my 2 companies Web sites & so that it appears at the bottom of every outgoing e-mail.  At the same time, I've removed the text that says something like "message sent from my Blackberry".

Now I need to change the message (& also want to restore it's my Blackberry because it is what explains a brief answer when necessary.)

  • I would like to know how to prevent messages sent to be registered on the SMTP server

Currently, my Thunderbird client saves a copy of all messages sent to the folder "sent", as expected. All sent messages are also stored on the Server SMTP (G-Mail in this case). To avoid having to delete them manually, I want to warn the outgoing message to be stored on the SMTP server in the first place. Currently, my account of Thunderbird for Copies and folders settings has a check mark next to the option 'Other' with a destination of the folder option sent in Thunderbird. I don't see any other parameters that could control how sent SMTP mail server handles. I use the POP service only with the G-Mail Server. What settings should be in place to prevent messages accumulate in the folder "sent" on the SMTP server account?

I think I can now answer my own question! The question turns out to be a g-mail not delivered not a factor controlled by Thunderbird.

Apparently g-mail can automatically a copy of all mail sent by SMTP service one account. It's a "feature" that cannot be disabled! A workaround seems to be to set up a filter in g-mail account settings for all mail with an address corresponding to your own email address and send the message to the trash folder. Items in the Recycle Bin are automatically deleted after 30 days. Google prevents the rule 30 days being modified by measure of security, but at least trashed messages for irrevocably removed in a month.
