  I created a simple form ADF Faces with a number counter.
  When it is validated it tells me that it contains no valid number.
  
  The steps I did:
  (1) is passed to an attribute of number related to a vacuum jspx and ADF w selected input text / Label.
  (2) be converted to a number counter.
  (3) the value of the Minimum and Maximum 1 properties and 10.
  (4) adding a button.
  (5) run the form (the counter is filled with the value 1)
  6) push the button-> validation error occurs.
  
  This happens also now other forms that I migrated to the TP4.
  Has anyone else experienced this problem?

  It is a known problem - try to convert the data type of your ADF BC duplicate instead of number column and see if it helps.

• How to take snapshots of two usb camera at the same time

  I have a project where I have to take still photos of two usb camera at the same time repeatedly and save the in a particular direcltory. I am received using a camera by using "Camera Grab vi", but I can't make it work with 2 cameras, I use the flat sequence and 2 "Camerra Grab vi: with particular camera in a sequence, but each time when I run the program I get only pic of a camera, its seems a camera dominates the other.»

  Looks like you are using the same reference at the same time grabbing the camera. The two camera snaps happen but the second camera clamp is written on the first so it seems alone is slam. Try to run the VI executiong highlighted arbitrary mode (select icon icons four bulb to the right of the button run on the schema). This will allow you to see the data stream. In order to get both of these Snap you'll need separate references. You can try to watch one of our examples in the example Finder OR give you some direction (LabVIEW > help > find examples > Browse tab > Input and Output material > IMAQdx > high level > Snap.vi). You can break the two cameras at the same time if you just copy this code and double of the code.
  (Note: If you change the examples, always save as copy in another location so that you do not save on the packed example)

  is anyway to minimize program window of internet explorer (or firefox) after the logon user for the application (except manually, of course :))?)   Basically there is the

  htmlBeforeForm
  

  and

  htmlAfterForm
  

  Settings in the formsweb.cfg where you can add additional html and JavaScript. Just Google how to minimize a window via JavaScript and put it in the htmlAfterForm

  This will reduce the browser window when you load your forms application. If you want to run javascript on certain events (for example in a trigger WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED) you can do it with

  Just search here on JavaScript forum and take a look. I'm sure you'll find a starting point. Of course if you have trouble, or something is not clear for you feel free to ask :)

  P.S.: implementations of JavaScript differ between browsers, I can assure you of headaches; What workes in IExplorer does not work in Firefox and vice versa. If you encounter problems with this please add versions of full browser as well as this material certainly in this case.

  Debug and chek the variable anaCode in the java code is correct, so I think that the problem is only to refresh the table with the new value in the variable of liaison PANA_CODE.

  User, let me summarize the replays, you already have (which are partly right) and explain why you do not see the table changes.

  First, add a partial trigger to the table of the method won't help you if you use createRootApplicationModule(). That means that it creates a new instance of the model layer. In this new model, you update the AnaAccountBalVO view with the right data for the binding variable. The problem is that the table on the page is connected to a different application module that includes the old data only.

  So the addition of a partial trigger not you will get the new data that the new data are not in the module you are using.

  To do your use case, you must do the following:

  (1) create a custom method in the application module object or view that you pass the PANA_CODE as a parameter.

  (2) the method sets the parameter to the parameter bind in the vo and calls executeQuery to get new data

  (3) expose this method in the interface of the client of the application module or the view object

  (4) add an actionBinding to the method in the pageDef. An easy way to do this is to drag the method of control of data on the page and drop it in the button. then switch to source mode and remove the code for the button

  (5) set the parameter of the method to the link #{bindings. AnalysisCode1} (be said in passing shouldn't be #{bindings.) AnalysisCode1.inputValue})

  (6) now, if you bind this method to the key.

  There is a sample on how to do to three ways to remove a line all to browse a set of lines. JDev & ADF Goodies (Solution 2)

• Call a method before the following operation to set the selected values

  Use case: I display a VO as an ADF multiple checkbox select. This VO is the detail of a master/detail. I managed to store the selection state in a bean managed on autoSubmit. Then the user navigate to the record of the master, and then goes back to the previous record. The buttons next and previous were created using operations in data controls. I want to back up the State of the selection by clicking previous or next.

  There are a lot of tutorial on how to get the selected values, but none on how to set the selected values. How would you do it?

• Quick question about redirect ADF security

  We have implemented the ADF security in our ADF application.
  We use a login.jspx with safety ADF is enabled and it works very well.
  We then created an another login2.jspx but for some unclear reason, whenever we log out, it redirects to login.jspx.
  We checked to make sure that pageDef for error2.jspx and login2.jspx files are set correctly; We also checked connection MBean it would redirect you to our home pages/home.jspx page.
  We tried to clear the cookies, the browser implements cache and relaunched in JDev.
  Yet, we go back to login.jspx when JDev is running.

• autoexpanding a tree works - but only once

  I ran across a strange behavior in the adf (latest version) and I do not know how to debug/fix it. I put a tree on initiallyExpanded = 'true' and it works, but only once.
  
  My scenario:
  
  I have a splitter-split page, with a tree in the left (navigation) and 'details' separator in the right. The details are inside the same page, a blender decides which section to display. (More details Re: howto: display dynamic form on the selection of the tree (11 GR 1 material jdev) )
  
  Then. Navigate in my navigation tree, access to a node and the 'details_1' section opens and shows a part of entry fields and trees (another). This tree has the value initiallyExpanded = "true" and is initially developed.
  
  Then, I chose another node in the navigation tree, which also highlights the "details_1" (just for another record). Iterators are defined (input fields contains the correct values) but the tree is not developed. This is the same section if the tree is the same, very, very, like work one :)
  
  After opening some leafes and switching back and forth between the two records details the tree keeps the last State.

  So, if not you unload/reload the instance of the tree but simply refresh the tree, it is not considered as initial rendering. In this case, I think you have to programmatically set the dislosure line key on the path of the selected tree

• Windows browser jumpy and freezes - MS Word problem?

  I have a Satellite L500 - UR. Opening a file large MS Word, my computer runs very slowly and ends by crashes. The main problem is with the Windows browser, because it gets nervous and freezes constantly, as if a program has been demanding a lot of computer resources. Funny enough, it only occurs when other applications are open, with Word. I checked the CPU performance when this happens and the two hearts seem to work well.

  Also, the RAM memory seems ok. I run the tool from Microsoft Diagnosis, so at this point I don't know what can go wrong.
  It might be a compatibility problem between Windows 7 and MS Word or something to do with the material.

  I just wanted to know your opinion before returning the unit to Toshiba, as there could be a simple solution to this.

  From what you have posted, I don't see Toshiba accept that there is a fault. I would be looking at the size of the word files and consider if they need 'cleaning' - MS used to provide a utility on their website to strip unused text and 'code '... Word is not designed to write a book in a single file and no one dependent on the version made recommendations to deal with multi file documents. "master document" was one of the terms used.
