    Hey guys,.

So I upgraded my Ram and disk HARD everything works beautiful (thank you banhien for help)

    I upgraded the Ram to DDR2 4200 (533 Mhz) to 6400(800Mhz) of DDR2.

How to check my ram is actually been comfigured to run at 800 Mhz instead of 533 Mhz?

    Hello:

You need to double the reading you get since it's DDR mentally.  This means that your memory is clocked at 667 MHz.

The Mobile Intel 965 chipset in your laptop can run at a maximum speed of 667 MHz memory.  That's why your downclocked to memory PC2-6400 800 MHz to 667 MHz.

The desktop version of the chipset handles the memory at 800 MHz, but the mobile version isn't that I discovered the other day...

  • Equium A100 - 027 Vista: the screen goes black for just 1 second

I was wondering if anyone here can tell me what is the problem with my laptop. That's all new Toshiba Equium A100-027. Quite often, my screen will turn black for just a second, and then it will return to normal again.

I changed my power settings, so it is not because of the screen laptop will. Most of the time, it's going to happen when I run the program in full-screen on real player, but it happens when I play mahjong titans which is included in microsoft vista.

HM, just a small suggestion to check if you have a hardware related problem or some software:

Connect your laptop to an external monitor and see if the problem still occurs.
If the problem occurs with an external monitor then check that you have installed the software and try uninstalling the last installed software, perhaps the best will be step by step.

So if all else fails, then try a recovery.

  • After the upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 games installed in my laptop (Chainz, Cubis and Bejeweled, etc.) have bars on each side when displayed in full screen.

I have a laptop Acer Aspire with a screen 16:9 wide (15.6 "), it has the latest graphic drivers ATI and all operating system updates.  After the upgrade to W7 (free upgrade with the purchase of the laptop) everything works wonderfully except all the games installed now not displayed in full screen, I get black bars on both sides, they used for Vista, but not with W7.

I already tried different settings in the games options, administrator, resolutions screen different, being run in maximized 'Vista' and 'Run' mode of the file properties dialog box shortcut and .exe.  This happened without any security program installed that is not a factor.

    I am at a loss.

This is to maintain the ratio l / h. It is how the images stretch. ATI no longer has the opportunity to play with the proportions for the sort of stuck like that unless you can find in your version of ATI Catalyst. It is in fact full screen as opposed to windowed mode, but it does not cover the entire screen.

You can try different resolutions within the application to see if it will actually make your apps full screen to use the entire screen. That's all, remains to be done. I don't know why ATI has decided to exclude this option because some people hate the black bars or hate the stretched images.

  • My laptop screen fades dying, a second screen plugged... but it displays as a part continues to right-hand side of the screen

My laptop screen fades dying, connected a second monitor. I need to do (in display) do the pluged in the number one monitor.  Because it shows now it acts as an extension (on the right side of my screen.  My mouse pointer can migrate from one screen to the other and my start maing buttons that I don't see on my laptop screen.  What I really want is for the two monitors to show an identical copy of one.  Or at least put the plug in the monitor by default #1 and lapbopscreen #2 I hope that this will make sense I help eed before the screen of my laptop completely died please...

    Hi VictorReventlow,

Try the following steps to extend the monitor on the second screen.

    1. In the settings of the display properties dialog box tab, click the icon of the monitor that represents the monitor you want to use in addition to your primary monitor.
    2. Click to select the checkbox extend my desktop on this monitor . After enabling this feature, you can drag items across your screen on alternative screens. Or, you can resize a window to stretch it on several monitors.

Whenever I turn on the laptop, the display shows an upside, I have to press the key (f4) projector whenever I start up the screen in the right way and when I always play games on your laptop, they appear backwards and cannot be overturned around back.

This all started when my son randomly pushed a load of buttons on the keyboard.

The ability to rotate the screen image is a characteristic of your video

    Rotate using these keys.

Try to press Ctrl + Alt + up ARROW, or try Ctrl + Alt + and a different key to the arrow.

If this does not work: right-click on empty office rotation - graphics options.

I need to capture something appears on my laptop screen to send as an aid to a product technician. How to capture an article on my screen using Windows 7?

HI - the cutting tool is great, providing that you don't want to capture all the dialog boxes... When you open the snipper, dialogue boxes disappear. This is where the print screen on your keyboard key is useful - hit cela, open the "Paint" program, and then click "Paste" on the icon left Clipboard... you will get a copy of the screen with any dialog boxes showing - which you can then save it as a jpeg file or any format is preferred.  Cheers, Ric.

  • Firefox on the laptop of my wife lost the black bar that displays maps, Gmail etc. Now at the top of the screen there is an empty bar, triple height, with just the Google search box entry. How can I get that back? Or is it a question for Google?

When I open Firefox there is a black bar, sometimes vertical, sometimes horizontal, in the upper part, with links to maps, Gmail etc. When I opened Gmail the same links are listed at the top of the screen, just under the tabs. In my wife's cell phone, it appears in the Firefox splash screen, but not in the form of Gmail. In the top of the screen is an extra-large gray bar with just one Google search box entry. Is this a problem of Firefox or Google?

She has XP Home SP3 and Firefox 9

    Thanks for any help.

  • I wish to see my email address on the right side of the screen, I have emails on the left and I want the email to display on the right side.

When I looked at my emails on the left hand of the screen; the e-mail message open on the right side of the screen. Somehow I turned off
the tab and now when I click on the email address I have to go to another screen to read e-mail. How can I fix it?

We need a little clarity on what "E-mail" means.

    Accounts?
    Messages?
    The addresses?

Tools | Options | Advanced | Read and display allows you to choose between a message of openness in:

    1. a tab;
    2. its own window;
    3. an existing window.

Also, go to view. Layout and choose between three available patterns. You can also the Folders pane (on this same submenu) checked for your visible accountability in a pane on the left.

The above assumes you will see a menu. If you can not, press and hold the < alt > key to make it appear temporarily.

  • The bottom left of the screen messages not displayed

Laptop Acer Aspire computer under Windows 7 (Home Premium) 64-bit with the wide screen fonts. More old Dell desktop husband running Win 7 (Professional) 32-bit (1024 x 768) displays messages to the left side of the footer confirming access to the server of mail received or that there are no mail to collect - it does not happen on the Acer, that displays only the messages very occasional, as the software is up-to-date. Is there a cure for the lack of posts on the Acer laptop?

Use the activity Manager (menu (ALT + T) tools > activity Manager is to see these status messages.) They are not supposed to stay visible and when connection speeds are good they tend to appear and disappear quite quickly. But as they are only intended to comment on what things are slow or not is not that is not a problem.

  • Lose "Desktops" after disconnection of the screen of the laptop

I have the strangest question that I can't seem to solve.  We hope that you can show how the solution is right in front of me.

I have a Macbook Air, under OS X 10.11.4 I connect a widescreen Apple when I'm at my desk.  Through Mission control, I have "Screens have a separate space" checked so that I can use the split screen function.  Throughout my work day, I always use my laptop screen and screen more great for a variety of tasks.  Well, when I unplug my laptop on the big screen and then try to do a job of just my laptop, I can't find some open windows and applications.  In fact, I can not even find 'Desktop 1' when I use the Mission control.  It gives me 'Desktop 2' and the ability to add more posts to work.  There has been moments that I can't find my open applications and windows anywhere.  Sometimes I can get to them through the docking station.  But even in this case, it's really awkward.  Each time, I have to restart my computer and load new apps by scratch so much they are all together again.

What I'm doing wrong here?  I think it has something to do with the help of each display as a separate space, but how should I manage my activity if so?  I don't really like on displays with their own space, but I have to have this verified function if I use the split screen.  I use this feature all the time so don't want to let go.  Is there a way to consolidate computers to office/spaces after that I took off of the second monitor?

Anything you can help me with is appreciated.

    James

    Hi James,

I understand that you want to connect your MacBook Air to an Apple Thunderbolt display.  When you say 'split', ask you to share your desktop on both screens?  If so, you can configure the Thunderbolt as extended desktop display.

OS X El Capitan: connect multiple monitors to your Mac

Configure the screens as extended desktop

You can arrange your displays in all configurations to create an extended desktop. For example, you can set your screens side by side to create a large continuous desktop.

    1. Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click view, and then click Arrangement.

    2. Follow the instructions on the screen.

    Take care
