ClassID or clsid for JRE/JDK

Hello world

I need to get the classid or clsid for JRE/JDK 1.6.0_23
JRE and JDK he same classid?

I know that classid to 1.4.2_06 is CAFEEFAC-0014-0002-0006-ABCDEFFEDCBA

Can someone help me?

Thanks in advance
Oscar

Your question is not really clear. "+ JRE and JDK has same classid? + ' the JRE or Java Runtime Environment has an associated CLSID registered in the Windows registry so that the requests from other applications could challenge the JRE and usually starts a jave app.» The JDK Java Development Kit is a set of development tools to create java applications. You cannot "run" the kit. The JDK includes an optional JRE, but you must make sure that you select the option install for the guests of installation. This JRE would be essentially the same if you just install a stand-alone JRE Version

How calculate the CLSID number is explained here:

http://docs.Oracle.com/javase/6/docs/TechNotes/guides/plugin/developer_guide/using_tags.HTML#object

Example:

JRE 1.6.0_23 would be: CAFEEFAC -0016-0000-0023- ABCDEFFEDCBA

    There is a single called "Java SE JDK and JRE. It's may not be on your list of products which you have directly supported.

  • E.M.P. Configurator missing JRE/JDK

    I do an install of 11.1.1.3 (don't ask). The installation was successful. However, when you try to run Setup, I get the following error:

    "JAVA_HOME is not set.

    'Smoothly'

    I checked C:/Hyperion/common and for some reason there is on the installed JRE folder. This could be because there is no Java on the server when I did the installation initially, but I downloaded and installed java now. Still the same error. I know a possible solution is to try to find a JRE folder on another instance, but is there a way to fix this without doing that, and also why is it happening?

    11.1.1.3 sorry only is not supported on Windows 2008R2, have a read of http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-foundation/oracle-hyperion-epm-system-certific-2-128342.xls

    11.1.1.4 is supported but 11.1.1.3 isn't.

  • Client proxy WS with for JRE 1.4

    Hello

    I am trying to build a customer service proxy web with JDev 11 g (11.1.1.2.0) for execution with JRE 1.4 (Oracle Forms Server). But when I use in my project of JDK 1.4, the proxy is generated with a lot of annotations (not compatible with the 1.4, right?). Is it possible to generate annotations of theses classes wothout?

    For more information, I'm trying to create style JAX - RPC client.

    Thank you!

    Probably not in JDeveloper 11 g - you might be able to do with JDeveloper 10.1.3.

  • Question of CLSID for the Windows registry

    I have a ton of entries under

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\

    who have no default value set for InprocServer32

    Have I reason to think that, if no DLL is listed to load these entries are just too much room?

    can I remove all these with no ill effects?

    It seems to me that they were left by the prior uninstall such as JAVA, which leave a ton of garbage behind.

    I want to clean them manually - I didn't trust these automated registry cleaners.

    Thanks a lot for a simple answer to my question :)

    It's good to be wary of the registry cleaners, but one of the reasons why they are useless is that the registry has no need to be 'cleaned' unless there is a specific problem which must be addressed.  The entries refer to absorb a significant amount of disk space and have no ill effects whatsoever.

  • Workaround for JRE proxy for local addresses always bypass proxy

    Hi all

    I am currently dealing with an issue with the proxy in java configuration.

    Situation: I need a proxy server to connect to the internet, and I have a few addresses configured in Internet Explorer that bypass the proxy server.
    example of how I have it set up: *. Google.com; * 212.115; 62.69.179.198

    The address at which I am trying to achieve is not in the list of circumvention, or beaches excluded in the bypass list.

    Initially, I got java set up using the browser settings. I thought he didn't pick up the settings of the browser at all.
    However after you have configured the proxy manually in java it still did not work.

    During the search, I came to the conclusion that as soon as I activate the "bypass proxy server for local addresses" in Internet Explorer, or manually in java.
    Customer JRE automatically bypasses the proxy and always uses "proxy direct =". As soon as I turn off this feature, he began to use the proxy server.

    I have no idea why this is happening?

    Why do you need to check this option then? Simply configure Java/browser to use the proxy and add it to your list of exception/bypass. That should do it. "bypass the proxy server for local addresses" is a bit ambiguous and depends on the way your network is configured and what is defined as a local address. Is your LOCAL proxy server as well or you are using an external proxy server?

  • Is it possible to configure jpi_codebase to autodownload JRE for Oracle Forms 11.1.2.2.0 8?

    We are currently working with Oracle Forms and reports 11.1.2.2.0 (64-bit) using Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.6 (64-bit) installed with the 64-bit JDK 1.7.0_40. Currently, we configure the YPI parameters (jpi_download_page, jpi_codebase, etc.) to use Java 7. Here is an excerpt from formsweb.cfg of that we deploy to end users to download a 7 Java JRE (Java 7u67 taking as an example):

    jpi_download_page = http://Java.Sun.com/products/archive/J2SE/7u67/index.html

    jpi_classid = clsid:CAFEEFAC-0017-0000-FFFF-ABCDEFFEDCBA

    jpi_codebase = http://Java.Sun.com/update/1.7.0/jinstall-7u67-Windows-i586.cab#version=1, 7,0,67

    jpi_mimetype = application/x-java-applet

    NOTE: For the jpi_classid, we use clsid:CAFEEFAC-0017-0000-FFFF-ABCDEFFEDCBA so that users can continue to use their currently installed Java JRE 7 without being forced to use a specific update to Java 7.

    As we know that update of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 8 5 or higher is supported with clients running an Oracle Forms application 11.1.2.2.0 inside their Web browsers supported by the Oracle for the 11.1.2.2.0 forms certification matrix (we are aware that the JDK 8 is not supported with 11.1.2.2.0 forms) found at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/es/middleware/docs/oracle-forms-111220certmatrix-2087910.xls?ssSourceSiteId=otnen We want to be able to set up automatic downloading for JRE 8 using the parameters of YPI formsweb.cfg (or help 'EM under "Setting up the Web"). As we know in Internet Explorer, the URL in the jpi_codebase parameter is where it can find the .cab file for the automatic download of the JRE. Even if it works well for JRE 6 and 7 of the JRE, if we were to use the configuration settings following parameter changed to 8 JRE:

    jpi_download_page = http://Java.Sun.com/products/archive/J2SE/8u25/index.html

    jpi_classid = clsid:CAFEEFAC-0018-0000-FFFF-ABCDEFFEDCBA

    jpi_codebase = http://java.sun.com/update/1.8.0/jinstall-8u25-windows-i586.cab#Version=1, 8,0,25

    jpi_mimetype = application/x-java-applet

    nothing happens in the browser launches the application Forms.

    Use the jpi_codebase setting, if we go directly to http://Java.Sun.com/update/1.8.0/jinstall-8u25-Windows-i586.cab to download the JRE, we get an error saying: "File not found."

    We went to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/autodownload-140472.html on the Oracle Web site, which explains the more information on the identification of the URL appropriate for auto-download of JRE, it only shows the URL for JRE 7u71 and 7u71 structure. We used this provision to JRE 8, but we get the "File not found" error when you use the URL directly.

    According to these results, someone happens to know if 8 JRE is currently available (or even supported) for automatic download by using the parameters of YPI in formsweb.cfg? We know that anyone can download the latest Java 7 or 8 Java JRE manually from Oracle, but it would be convenient if he could be auto-téléchargé if it is currently possible. It would be more a une question question for the forum Java or Java Runtime, let me know.

    Thank you

    Scott

    Scott, have you had a look at metalink? (always a good place to look if you have a proper support contract).

    I can't replicate the whole doc here, but looks that the download page you are after is:

  • Should what JDK I download for R12.1.3, 64-bit Linux?

    Hi, experts:

    I was downloading JDK needs JDK 1.5 or higher for v5.8 Oracle Linux 64-bit 11.2.0.3 database and applications 12.1.3. I found patch #18143596. Is this correct?
    Now I don't know which one I should choose depending on the platform.
    If I choose the = Linux x 86 platform, in the readme, there platform: Linux-i586
    If I choose the = Linux x 86-64 platform, in the readme, there platform: platform: Linux amd64

    That one has reason to choose?

    Thank you for your help.

    JDK, you will need to follow the steps (using the JDK 7.0 updated with Oracle E-Business Suite version 12.0 and 12.1 (Doc ID 1467892.1)) and download the 32 bit version.

    For JRE, you will need to follow (deployment of JRE (Native plug-ins) for Windows customers in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (Doc ID 393931.1)) - download the Windows version (Windows 64-bit) x 64 or x 86 (32 bit) Offline as required

  • What jdk required for SOA 11.1.1.6 install

    Try to install SOA 11.1.1.6. Installed in the (XE) database run the RCU - no problem. Now, install WLS - but I can't find in any of the installation documentation a definition of what jdk or a jre is required to move forward. Machine on a 64-bit Windows 7. What jdk must be installed?

    Thank you for a clear answer - Casey

    Hi Casey
    Version of the JDK is NOT linked or associated with SOA Version. But the Version of the JDK must match with the supported JDK compatiable Weblogic Server. As you install SOA 11.6, you should install version 10.6 WLS and look for the JDK Version supported for WLS 10.6. You can go with the latest Version of the JDK, as mentioned by Vlad and which should be good. SOA is installed on top of WLS. And for 64-bit machines, first you install 64 bit JDK and then refer to this option to install the weblogic server using the generic installation program (Installer version .jar).

    Thank you

            add(new RichTextField("This is the speed bump screen!", Field.NON_FOCUSABLE));
        }

    }

    In addition, there is nothing in the ListField that will actually generate an event.

    Here is a simple extension to the ListField which will make "clickable".  In your FieldChangeListener you can use getSelectedindex to determine which line has the focus.

    8 SDK-installation of Java under Yosemite 10.10.2 (Mac), the version of the SDK for Java 7 left, also on my system.  Why?

    Unlike the JRE, JDK is installed so that multiple versions can be installed on a system at the same time. If you want to remove a JDK, instructions can be found here: https://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/technotes/guides/install/mac_jdk.html#A1096903

  • FMW: Portal Upgrade Advisor - confusing info on JDK in WLS Installation Guide

    Post this thread on behalf of Charlie - technical contact at one of the customers drivers Middleware sites:
    Concerning
    Dan Mortimer
    Oracle - main Technical Support Engineer
    (Expert in the field of life cycle)

    Charlie sent me the following e-mail:

    NOTES about the Upgrade Advisor in
    Oracle® Fusion Middleware Installation Guide for Oracle WebLogic Server 11 g Release 1 (10.3.4) Part Number E14142-05

    Looks like there may be a confused statement in Chapter 2 on «jdk previosly» installed

    "A JRE is packaged in the 32-bit Windows and x 86 Linux installation programs"

    Chapter 2:

    Before you start the installation program
    Before starting Setup, verify the following information:

    If you install the software in graphics mode on a UNIX or Linux machine, you must set the DISPLAY environment variable before you run the installation program.
    If you use an installer of the synchro .bin file, replace JAVA_HOME with the installation of the JDK supported location you have installed for your platform.

    ...

    [Then goes on to say]

    Functions of the base directory

    The directories in the home directory of Middleware vary according to the installation program you use and the products that you have selected for installation.
    For example, WebLogic Server Setup creates the directories and files listed in the table below if you have selected all the components for installation.

    Table 2-4 Directory Description for Middleware House

    Directory or file Description

    JDKVersion

    This directory contains the software for the JDK from Sun, if it is installed with your software. The JDK provides the environment to run Java (JRE) and tools for compiling and debugging Java applications.

    Good suggestion. Thank you.

  • ODI 11g Installation Error (JDK).

    Hello

    I have a problem with installing ODI 11 g under Windows 7 (64-bit). I installed the 32-bit version of jdk (jdk1.7.0).

    When I run the setup.exe (run as administrator), Universal Oracle install starts, but must specify the path to the JDK

    "Preparation for the launch of Oracle Universal Installer from C:\Users\*. Please wait...
    "Please specify JDK (Ex./home/jdk), < location > location/bin/java must exist:

    When I entered a path like C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0\bin , it gives msg as)
    Please specify a valid JDK location:

    Thank you

    Hi yogesh,

    As has been pointed out by Marc, you will need to use the path to the JDK, not the JRE, when starting the installer.

    * 1. * you said your for the JDK installation path is "C:\Java\bin". The java.exe application sits within this folder?
    * 2. * Installer, change the value for the jreLoc - for example, if #1 above is true.
    D:\Work\Softwares\Odi Setup\ofm_odi_generic_11.1.1.6.0_disk1_1of2\Disk1\install\win64>setup.exe - jreLoc C:\Java\bin

    A default installation of the JDK path is C:\java\jdk1.7. In this way, the file bin\java.exe and demand exist. The jreLoc - wants you to provide the path of C:\java\jdk1.7. I can't tell where the java.exe application based on the information provided, but you get the idea.

    Kind regards
    Michael Rainey

  • Link Web for BlackBerry Java 6.0 and 5 SDK

    Hi, I want to ask on the link for JRE 6 SDK Update.

    I just downloaded the plugin Eclipse for Blackberry here:

    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/Java/download/Eclipse/

    Eclipse, I'm here now don't have JRE 7.1.0

    But the examples I've had to learn java requires JRE 6.

    I try to add: http://www.blackberry.com/go/eclipseUpdate/3.6/java but the result is not found software

    Can someone help me get this update link?

    I assume that you got your 7.1 download from this page:

    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/Java/download/Eclipse/

    On this page there is a link that says:

    Add the BlackBerry Update site in Eclipse (Windows)

    If you click on that it tells you what to do.

    I don't know where you got this from:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/go/eclipseUpdate/3.6/Java

    But wherever it is, can update you to point people on the download page and not the link - update site may well change again.

    Please come back to us if this does not answer your question.
