Cleaning PV 124 t band

I have a Powervault 124 t. in a remote site, so all knowledge is word of mouth. The reader keeps asking a cleaning cassette - over and over again. The local technician did repeatedly, and even after the purchase of a new cleaning cassette, it repeatedly calls for cleaning even after several attempts. Is it possible that we overlook something, or is the car (since 2006) toast?

Wasn't there a problem for years with the help of DELL not brand cleaning cassettes?

suggestions welcome...

Since the unit is nearly six years old, I think it is simply worn out. Let's try the firmware first

    Hi Julia

The instructions from Apple for the cleaning of your loop Milanese are:

    • Wipe the Strip with a recommended cloth (not abrasive and lint). If necessary, you can moisten the cloth with water bit.
    • Dry with a cloth Strip recommended.

    Hello

Apple did not recommend using cleaning products when cleaning the Apple Watch bands.

    The recommended steps are:

    • For strips of leather and nylon fabrics:
      • Wipe the Strip with a non abrasive and non fluffy cloth.
      • If necessary, the linen can be slightly moistened freshwater (leather bands don't are not water resistant, not must therefore not soaked).
      • Let the Strip to dry air, while avoiding exposure direct sunlight, high temperatures or humid conditions, which can cause damage.
    • For all other bands, loops and parts attachments:
      • Wipe the Strip with a non-abrasive and lint - cloth which can be moistened with water if necessary.
      • Dry the tape with another non-abrasive and non-fluffy cloth.

  • Causes of sleep Windows 10 PC Mode to become unresponsive

I'm having the problem intermittently, none of the solutions provided for in the other forums can help me. I don't have video cards that have been suggested as a problem, or my computer a model more old laptop HP Envy has it the driver Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI).

«To those who say there is a graphics driver issue and/or the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) driver must be aware that it is NOT the solution for each laptop model.»

In my case after a reboot my functions in sleep mode fine for maybe 3-5 cycles then he acts upward. However, my computer does not freeze upwards, it simply turns off after a minute or two his own. Time seems to vary.

It's the same thing when you perform a reboot, sometimes it restarts right away, other times it takes a few minutes before it shutsdown, but it restarts so quickly. For me, it seems to say that there is an app or an action that prevents the computer from reboot / go to sleep. Apparently this app/process takes time to be stopped is the root cause of the computer doesn't go to sleep everything away or take the time to restart.

After it goes off on its own instead of enter sleep mode and I want to use again, it starts very quickly and is ready to use in seconds, except all the apps etc are closed.

No firewall or anti Virus, with the exception of what is delivered with Win10

Clean boot is a band-aid. We know already computer goes to sleep after a reboot, it is when it is used for some time that problems start to occur.

Problem is that he's not going to sleep instead stops after two minutes. No problem by restarting.  If you perform a reboot, it takes about two minutes and then restarts.

If something is running in the background something I can't identify.

  • Problem with Printer Color LaserJet 2600n of printing. Thin strips Magenta on the printed Pages

I have a Color LaserJet 2600n, on which I replaced both magenta and yellow cartridges a week ago. Both cartridges are genuine HP. The printer cleaned and calibrated.

Today, the thin magenta strips about 3 "apart began to appear on my printed pages. Print pages, but there is a 'click' stable, audible about 2 seconds apart from from the inside of the printer. Even after a cleaning several times, the bands are less bright, but they are still there. They also appear on the printed test page and on the page of troubleshooting print quality. Is there something wrong with this new magenta cartridge? This problem has never happened before in the 6 years, I've owned this printer.

Here a link to the document that addresses the issues of print quality for your printer model. It will give you the different troubleshooting steps to try to resolve the problem. One of the steps in the document will guide on inspecting the print cartridge and see if the replacement is in order. I hope this helps.

  • OfficeJet pro 8500 A, but low use of warranty

This printer has begun to put in place a space at the same position in each line.  For example in this position, a character is printed completely, but in two parts with a space of approximately 1 mm between the parties.  With images, which leaves a line blank at the bottom of the page.  I ran all the checks and cleanup activities, but without effect, there is no error or warning of the printer.

    Any ideas?

This looks like a stain on the MICR band that the printer uses to position the printhead during printing.  Clean-up of the band, as explained in this post can help to the problem.  Don't forget to heed the warnings, the coding Strip is fragile and delicate markings which can be damaged by abuse.

    Notice:
That you perform the following steps, be careful when handling the coding Strip as it can break easily.

It is possible that dust can gather on the coding Strip which will make it very difficult for the printer determine where transportation is on his trail. To clean the MICR band, perform the following steps:

    1. Turn off the printer and disconnect the power supply.
    2. Lift the cover of the printer.
    3. Using a dry, not fluffy, pinch the MICR band on the right side of the cartridge carriage and pull your fingers on the right side of the printer (Figure 1).

Figure 1: The band of coding to the right of the door-cartridges

      Note:
The coding Strip is a narrow band of clear plastic and can be difficult to see without direct lighting.
    4. Plug in the printer and the power.
    5. Open the lid to allow the transport of the cartridge to center itself.
    6. Using a dry, not fluffy, pinch the MICR band on the left side of the cartridge carriage and pull your fingers on the left side of the printer. (Figure 2).

Figure 2: The band of coding to the left of the door-cartridges

Someone tried for hours link my band of coding and finally found the way to do it after reading several postings on the web and my own trial and error. The key is to use a "dental mirror" that you can pick up at a pharmacy or store of material for about $5. (Maybe a small compact mirror may also work.) And you need based on the discussion there. (I used a head lamp). The problem is that you can't see the small located slot through which the coding Strip should go through the front of the printer. He is sitting behind the ink cartridges. This thin slot "tunnel" is fine a piece of rectangular plastic. You can feel the rectangular piece of plastic behind the ink cartridges, and looking through the dental mirror, you can see how small slots are on the left and right side through which the coding Strip must be threaded. After "seeing" these small slots using the dental mirror, you can feel them with the tip of your nail and then know exactly what you are aiming for as you then feed the MICR band by. (It made no difference to feed you the Strip from the left or the right, but the end of arrow to the bottom of the encoder stip must lead right when you later attach it to the wire tab). I fed the 'blind' to the band after I had formed a mental image of exacly what I was doing and now to be able to feel the small slot located I was aiming for with the tip of a fingernail. (It is difficult to work in a small space behind the ink cartridges, and if you have fingers and very big hands, it may be impossible. I didn't use tongs or tweezers because of fear of harming the MICR band.) The coding Strip should then be set at the end of the arrow towards the bottom to the right attaching to a flimsy looking wire on the right side of the printer. The left end of the coding Strip must be attached to a metal tab on the left side of the printer. You will need to retain traction on the coding Strip and manually push the ink cartridge sliding back from the road as you attatch both ends. (It's probably a good idea to carefully clean the stip encoder of all your fingerprints and ink dirty with a handkerchief once you get it back in place.) Be sure also to clean the metal bar the ink cartridges slide back, if you receive error message 0502) Be prepared for this be a very frustrating experience! You will be panicked by how many times it will take to put on the good coding Strip slot, it will be difficult to catch the end of the encoding on the wire tabs and metal band, and how you have to find a way to keep the tension on the band of coding up to one end falls that you attach the other end. But once you use the mirror to see where you need to screw the Strip encoding, and once you see the tabs of wire and metal that must be attached to the ends of the strip of coding, then YOU CAN DO! It takes just the persistence.

  • FCPX jump during the import of the band. Analysis of the root causes?

    Dear friends,

I have a camera Sony TRV-900F video connected via FW800 to an iMac late 2009 with 16 GB of RAM, a quad core i7 2.8 and one 1 original to HDD with El Capitan.

When I import one of my miniDV tapes (which are between 2000 and 2012 about and been wound and rewound before capture and which were mainly recorded in one take on new tapes Sony and never reused) FCPX any images in fragments of random size (from a few hundredK to 10-14 MB) and frequently shows loss of images and some audio distortion imported into the timeline and re-read.

Final tried to create archives first and then import, but the result is the same.

What I don't understand, is that, at least apparently, none of these problems of 'corruption' appears if I look/hear the tapes in camcorder Sony itself!

I tried to use iMovie and same fragmentation occurs so I guess it is not related to the SO FCPX itself.

So far, I have received the iMac 1 TB hard drive and now have tried to import on a 128 GB SSD in a USB enclosure (which is USB3, but if I'm not mistaken my iMacs USB ports are USB2). Even to jump occurs.

Maybe I need to configure the SSD in a different way and to define not only as the backup directory for imports?

If the best ideas don't come to mind the next tests I'll make are:

    (a) purchase of a NEW band and try to record and import from it. If it works, this would indicate the older strips are damaged, but it does not explain why they look good in the camera.

    (b) purchase a head cleaning cassette and to use it carefully and see if he would heal playback and import.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

Post edited by: robertfromroma. Added the MacOS version. FCPX is 10.1

Try the import with QuickTime player and see if you get the same results.

  • Watch band

I got my Apple Watch of sport and I had last year, also have apple care, I use the watch regularly and there is a white layer detach the tape, it's like losing the color and I only wear to school or for racing and other things, I do not have anything hard with her, it of a regular thing or apple replace the Strip for me?

    Hello

In order to avoid stains or damage, it is important to always keep Apple Watch and the Group clean and dry according to the instructions for cleaning and maintenance. Apple asserts that band colours may vary or fade with time.

If you fear that your group can have a manufacturing defect, contact Apple support (mail service may be available) or make a Genius Bar reservation to check warranty:

I'm afraid that no one here can tell you what that decide to Apple (he is a user-based community).

  • Designjet 800PS 21:10 then 86:01 - band coding?

    Hi everyone-

I have a Designjet 800PS 42 ". After running is not for a week, he threw a 21:10 error. I have removed the right side of the machine, extract the gas station and he cleaned. He was in BAD condition and was about to sink to the ground.

TIP: WEAR GLOVES. I don't have.

During this process, I put at the beginning of the station back in incorrectly then the error remained. I then cleaned the rest of the machine, including the holes of the dust and the MICR band. Later, I realized my mistake, put it in correctly and the 21:10 error disappeared.

Now I have a new error 86:01 that makes obstruction of paper.

    This is the process:

    1. in initialization: this is the position of the gas station. http://S17.PostImage.org/rklapk20f/image.jpg

    2. complete initialization: the chariot moves all the way to the left and right, then parks above the gas station (which moved in position). No errors. Message shows load paper. http://S17.PostImage.org/n19241k4v/image.jpg http://S17.PostImage.org/rymmp5m3z/image.jpg

    3. I load the paper and the cart moves to check. Paper rolls back and forth. etc. This is the image during this process that the carriage moves back to the gas station. http://S17.PostImage.org/uve936hbj/image.jpg

    4. transport moves slightly to the left and position, error 86:01. http://S17.PostImage.org/apar4alnz/image.jpg

The belt is basically new. The trolley moves freely the length of the printer (by my measurement, see this video which shows what I consider that it is easy to get around - I'm using a finger on transport). Nothing seems to be it the way of the gas station. I think that it is free to move. Stem is lubricated. http://videobam.com/OGvAL

I noticed that my band of coding is in poor condition. See this image. It is worn (exactly where the transport seems to stop). This may cause the issue? http://S17.PostImage.org/b3c33w5rj/image.jpg

When I do a test of movement of transport, if I put myself to the test when the transport is parked above the gas station it moves slightly then stops. When I test in the Middle, it works perfectly.

So my question is: is this likely to be the MICR band? Or have I given the station incorrectly (despite No 21:10 error)?

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!

    Replace the tape coding.
