  Have an iPhone 5s (new in December) using the latest operating system. Back to contacts with cloud, photos etc. have in desperation tried restore from the backup that I did in December but has not worked or the data is missing. I can't see the contents of the backup file, but it is one that I used when I changed service provider in December, it should be there.

  Recovering contacts from Hotmail is done by adding the account hotmail on iPhone.

  FYI iCloud do not back up the information that are already synchronized, and your hotmail contacts are synchronized with the iCloud contacts and Hotmail servers (if you had them would be synchronized with the iCloud server).

  To retrieve the contacts to iCloud you would go to icloud.com on the computer and go to settings after you open a session. In settings, you will find backups of your information is synchronized usually some contacts/calendars and other files, and you can choose the one you want to restore, but iCloud does not restore the hotmail contacts.

  HI-Can someone please help, in hotmail-when starting a new email, if I choose 'select all' contacts to show all addresses, I note when I sent the e-mail that there are 2 thugs * addresses on the list of sent ("Adultchat HornygirlHere") that I haven't added or visited these sites. • Restore the Contacts from Iphone restore

  I'm very frustrated by that.  I had to do a total restore my Iphone 5 as a result of an error in the former area software and storage being gone.  I backup of the phone before doing this, but that the backup is worth nothing because to restore the previous backup would return to restore the bug in the software again.  So I basically had to a do a new restoration of the phone and gradually bring only my necessary stuff on the phone.  I can't seem to get the contacts and calendar, that I had to come back and I see on Itunes there is a place to synchronize those.  Still when I sync them they are not restored.  My contacts have some inside information, but lack of contacts.  Those who are there are missing phone # s and addresses e-mail.   I can see the calendar and contacts that they were originally on my Ipad so I know that they are at least there.  Are not the contacts and calendars supposed to migrate in Icloud and update all my Apple devices (I have a Mac Pro too) so that they are compatible?  If there are some parameters jiving not somewhere I'm lost as to what to do and what devices for all works in harmony.

  My plan is to do a backup of my phone after I put everything so that I have a clean backup, that is not a bug in there and has all the correct information.

From what you said, it seems you maybe problems with having the correct accounts added to your iPhone after you restored, since you mentioned that the lack of contacts are on your iPad. You asked if iCloud syncs contacts, and he does, but only those in iCloud. iCloud will not synchronize contacts that are related to other accounts, such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. I check what are the accounts on your iPad and make sure your iPhone has the same ones added correctly. • WHAT I WANT TO DO IS TO DELETE ALL THE CONTACTS IN MY EMAIL OF A SUDDEN MSN ACCOUNT AND I CAN'T "DON'T DO IT!"

  I spent 45 minutes yesterday deleting 1350 all my contacts from MSN/Hotmail 25 at a time so that I could import a clean list today. I logged in and they are all back! Why! ? Why can't remove it at once? Why are they back? I looked in the c:\users\YourName\AppData\Local\Microsoft/Windows Live Mail (hidden folder) and removed everything inside and yet, contacts are still in my Hotmail.

  In addition, in the forums of serching in every sense, they say to follow: Tools-> Extra-> Options-> Advanced-> maintenance-> store folder
  There's no option 'Tools' or 'Extra' on my Windows Live page or any Windows Live page that I see.

  If I can't get an answer today, I guess I'll close my account and stay with Gmail. Absolutely ridiculous! Extremely frustrating that these sync with my Outlook, which syncs with all my other accounts (phone, etc.) and keep all screwing.

• Several "personal address book" in the Contacts

  No additional input or suggestion so I backed up my address book, uninstalled TB, reinstalled TB and imported the .csv backup. This solves the problem, as can be expected.

  Apparently, this feature is already implemented in v1.1 .
  You should expect that your manufacturer of device supports this version or use fastboot to install yourself.

  For now, I use vcardin on the market to import contacts to vcard (s) on a memory card.

  the printer HP all-in-one Officejet Pro 8500 (A909a - product n. CB022A) clean the print heads whenever I turn it on. This problem affects any HP Officejet Pro 8500 printer, it is not a problem only of this one I bought. It is a boring bug and annoying because each power clean print heads on involves two bad disadvantages:

  1. waste of ink (each heads cleaning process consumes little ink);
  2. too much time (2-3 minutes) to prepare the printer after plugging.

  I upgraded my printer with the latest firmware available on the HP site (firmware ver. DLM1FN1006BR), but the bug is still present.

  At this point, I ask:

  1. There is a way (or procedure) to disable automatic cleaning this useless to all power on?
  2. Can we communicate with the HP engineers or tell me how to contact directly one of them to indicate the bug and request a new firmware updated?

  Please don't tell me to leave the printer on all the time or that the printheads to each cleaning power is normal behavior! Where then are power and ink savings claimed for this printer model?

  Maintenance when the printer is turned on is normal and is required to keep the printheads in good health (not blocked). See here for more information.

  With respect to energy savings, the printer automatically goes to low power mode when the don't feel not for awhile.  It is not necessary turn the unit on to save energy.

• iCloud account appears two times in the contacts

  On my MacBook running El Capitan in the Contacts app or any other application using contacts (such as Message, FaceTime, Mail) on the left side where the accounts are listed the "iCloud" account appears twice. I tried every "solution" provided in another thread (such as discussed here: iCloud appears two times in the contacts ) but nothing seems to work. I even "clean installed' El Capitan and restored my system to my Time Machine backup (I can't start fees I need my Mac as it is).

  Anyone have an idea where you look maybe edit some system files or anything that will get rid of this double iCloud account? All the other thread solutions seem to work only until I have restart the Contacts app or do any work.

  Updated - I contacted just the Apple Support and they helped me solve the problem.

  In system-> iCloud App preferences I disconnected my iCloud account and when asked to keep or to delete the files on my Mac, I would always remove Mac... After doing this, restart your Mac and you log into your account to iCloud again. This solves the problem of the iCloud duplicate accounts.

  You can use a jet of compressed air to clean the cooling fans.
  This air jet can be bought from most of the dealers for laptop and computer.

  Then you could try blowing through the vents to get rid of dust and debris.
