• Difference between the name of the channel & Pulse Terminal (NI USB-6212)

  I have a box OR USB - 6212 & on the pinout data sheet, it is said that the FREQ OUT default PIN is 40 & the signal name is PFI14.

  I am trying to generate a pulse by FREQ OUT in c# & DAQmx by calling channel name "dev2/freqout". When I ran the program & attempted to verify the measurement using a multimeter, I don't have a reading of the PFI 14, but 6 PFI. When I tried to set the name of the channel for "Dev2/freqout", the pulse filled Terminal automatically textboox with control unit using the test panels & "/ Dev2/PFI6. When I started the program, I got multimeter reading out of the Terminal impulse.

  Can someone please explain to me about this behavior?

  Also if I want to write a program to read the pulses generated by FREQ OUT, should I wire PFI 14 to some CBC CTR or PFI6 to CTR CBC?

  I want to import data from a file txt (see attachment). Well well, no proplem, but I want to also read the information on the channel names and units and rename the imported channels. Is it possible to do? It is also important that the number of channels may vary.

  I am trying to adjust a scale for a channel programmatically in a task. Attached is an excerpt of what I'm trying to do. I am unable to find the name of scale associated with the channel. Ideally when I "ChanType" I'd scale name and move to the scale property node and create the VI of scale.

  I am a silkscreen and I print my Photoshop starts. I regularly work with multi channel files or RGB files with additional color channels. I created actions to place check marks, resize images, etc. to be ready to print manually but I create for each display text labels, if they are absent from the original work.

  
  

  The files I work with have named pipes as "basic white, red, green, blue 284" etc. which indicates the color of the ink. I want to be able to do is create a script that copies the text of the channel name and insert it into a separate or each/all channels to the top of the file, so that when I print every positive there is a label corresponding to the color of the ink.

  
  

  I don't know if this is even possible, and I am limited in my knowledge when it comes stock and no experience with scripting and have had pretty good luck in the past for actions to do what I want without unnecessary steps.

  After the end of my second day of test error, I put this question on the table:

  I use ArraytoChannels function to store ADO recordsets as strings. What is strange, is that for the first Recordset, it works; but for the next time through the loop, it always fails with the error message 'cannot be added because the channels of the target are not all the same length.

  I confirmed that:

  the RowData sizes and the ChannelNames are equal,

  both spend the isarray = true test,

  I change the order of the ChannelNames,.

  I have reconnected/disconnected from the oConnexion every time, nothing has changed.

  Apparently I'm missing something - but crazy to know what! -If anyone can share his opinion I'll so much appriciate. Here is my code:

  Another clue. If you check using DIAdem

  Microsoft Windows Script Debugger

  you are able to install the debugger in DIAdem.

  It would potentially have shown that the command does not work as expected.

  Is there a way to make simple calculations (addition/subtraction) of single values selected channels?   New user DIAdem, so I'm not at all familiar with the scripts.  Looks like it should be a simple command, and I'm right on it.

  It seems to me that you do not want to add two or more 'cells' (to use the jargon of Excel) together.

  DIAdem manages data such as channels, not individual cells. If the approach to add two cells in DIAdem works like this:

  The variable SMC allows you to access a 'cell' in a channel, using the following sequence parameters:

  ChD (X, Y)

  where X is the line number of the table of channel, and Y is the name of the channel (column) or the number of the cell you want to access.

  For example, this expression here calculates the result of adding the value of line 2 of the channel called "Temperature_1" and the channel called "Temperature_2" of the example data set that takes over at the start of tiara. In this case, R1 is a real internal DIAdem variable that stores a single value.

  R1 = SEC (2, Ch("[4]/Temperature_1")) + SMC (2, Ch("[4]/Temperature_2"))

  The calculation above can be entered in the "Calculator" which is available in MODE of DIAdem and DIAdem analysis in the toolbar.

• Problem with the number of lines in the channel

  Dear community LabView,

  I'm relatively new to labview and I came across a problem that (I assume) can easily be resolved with your help.

  I need to create a digital signal to trigger a camera, but I have a problem with the configuration of my lines or exit lanes. I would not use that line output to trigger the camera. (I use a card NI PCIe-6353). LabVIEW is telling me that the number of lines in the channel does not have the number of rows of data:

  Possible reasons:

  Specified read or write operation failed because the number of rows in the data of a string is not the lines in the channel.

  If you use the digital waveform data type, make sure that the number of lines in the digital waveforms is the number of lines in the channel. If you are using Boolean data, make sure that the dimension of the array for the rows of the data is the number of lines in the channel.

  I got it to work by changing the "data format" "binary not signed" OR by plugging is not the "offset" for the Square Wave VI.  I think that the default "offset binary" data format works correctly if there is a negative value.

• TDMS read fails on the channels of different lengths

  Experts in LV...

  It seems that there is an error in the PDM to read functions.   I have a TDMS file generated by a built executable, this file has a group of 9 channels.  Channel 5 is data taken at a higher rate (IE 20 MHz) compared to the date in the other 8 channes (1 Mhz).  1 Mhz channels have 110 000 points, of course, the 20 Mhz channel has 2 200 000 points.

  If I read this by using the playback feature TDMS passing an array of the names of Channel 9.  It runs and returns a table of 9 waveforms with Y0 dt values correct and the correct.  However Channel 4 (the 5th string, that long) a garbage in the data for all points since the stop the 110 000 in other channels.  This trash is as numbers-10 ^ 304 and zero.  The first 110 000 points are correct.

  The file itself is not damaged.  If I read the file in a loop 1 channel at the time, and to build the table of waveforms I get all 9 waveforms and the correct data of variable length.  A trivial example to read the actual data file is attached with the data file (I hope that boards that leave be attached).  Intrigue albums has corrupted data to read it all-in-one and the bottom has the accurate version of loop data.  The waveforms of tables on the left show that corruption occurs precisely at the location 110 000 table where the other tables

  No Council or if it is a real mistake.  I don't see anything in the documentation that I'm doing something wrong.  The fact that it returns a length of valid array and no error code is leads me to believe it's a bug of LV.

  Thank you for your results. The issue you reported is for playback of several channels of scaling in staircase once. (PDM read on several channels in staircase of unscaling works very well). The .tdms file, you provided, including the scaling of the data.

  I can give you two workaround solutions. The first is what you mentioned, read each channel of scale inside a loop. The second is that always read all channels once, but rank all length strings in descending order. (The first is the channel with a maximum length; the last is the channel of a minimum length).

• PDM-file: how to set the description of the channel?

  I use the "DAQmx Configure Logging.vi" to capture the raw data from the measurements of May. Which works very well.

  

  At the end, after the acquisition of fiishing, I want to save the PDM. To do this, I want to add some properties to the PDM file. Using "TDMS Set Properties.vi" works, but ot for all properties. I'm able to add the name, description, title, author and date/time (yellow cells in the screenshot). How ca I add the description of the channel (see green cells in the screenshot).

  If you want to write a property for the channel, you must provide a group and a channel for the service to know which channel the property goes with.  If a group is provided but no channels, it assumes that the properties for the group.  If neither are provided, it assumes that the file.

• Windows Vista Media Center crashes when I change the channel

  Since the beginning of June whenever I try to change the channel on the TV tuner in Media Center it crashes. I tried to do a system restore but restore never worked on my count. Problem event name: APPCRASH. Application name: EHShell.exe I'm looking for suggestions that might solve this problem.

  1] updated TV Tuner card driver. Visit the manufacturer's Web site and download and install the latest driver.

  [2] delete the file mediaCenterDataStore.db. By default, this file is located in the following location:
  %SystemDrive%\ProgramData\Microsoft\eHome\mediaCenterDataStore.DB
  
  Delete: -.

  Start > run > type in %SYSTEMDRIVE%\ProgramData\Microsoft\eHome\mediaCenterDataStore.db > OK.

  Locate mediaCenterDataStore.db and right-click on it, select Delete.

  Restart the Media Center.

• How descriptions or explanations of the rules and easily accessible rulesets for the end user?

  When rules/rulesets are not configured to run on record in forms, users must run manually, either via the form or via the Tools-Business Rules (BTW: aren't fair rules now that CalcMan is forced?).

  Is there a way to users could easily access a longer description of the different rules and rulesets?  I like that we can add accessible instructions for forms of data, but I can't seem to get more planning than the 'name' of rules / rulesets with the role of Planner.

  There is not a Lane exit from the box to provide a textual content on run from the section of business rules management rules.  There is a way of comments, instructions and explanations in the rule to put, but a user would need to go in Calc Manager to access.  It can also be given on the forms that you mention, and finally, instructions and explanations can be given text information using Task Manager so users will run the business through this interface rule.
