clear lines of your master / details

Hello

I use jdev 11.1.2.4.

I have a master details page for the reception tables and receipt_detail. I created a relationship of foreign key to the DB level.

When I try to delete the rows from the two tables, I get below error.

Framework will post so you can mark the association as "composite" (hopefully) changes to db in the right order.

For more details see 4.3.6 in http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15523_01/web.1111/b31974/bcentities.htm#ADFFD176

    You have two options:

    First: Apply channel Interaction. You can click in your master detail report and automatically your second report will change.

    Second: Use action links.

  • [ADF, JDev12.1.3] master / detail af:tables the link is handled by ExecuteWithParams: how to create a master report / detail in a loop on the lines?

    Hallo,

    I have a page with 2 legs and they both contains an af:table created by dragging an instance of VO in the user interface.

    The 1st tab uses a master VO while the 2nd uses a VO detail.

    Between 2 your, there is not a link of VO master / detail.

    Opening Details tab I update the secondary table by calling the method ExecuteWithParams of the detail VO instance (in a managed bean).

    I would now like to generate a report that loop on the master table and that, for each line of master:

    • He writes in the report;
    • loops of registration of details (which are based on the master record) and also writes the report.

    Could you kindly suggest me which is the best way to achieve that through a code to write in a managed bean?

    Here I am interested how do to loop through the data, not in how to write the report.

    Thank you

    Federico

    Yes it will affect the selected line. If you want to ignore try using this code

        DCIteratorBinding iter = (DCIteratorBinding) BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry().get("DepartmentsView1Iterator");
        ViewObject vo = iter.getViewObject();
        for (int i = 0; i < vo.getEstimatedRowCount(); i++)
        {
          Row r = vo.getRowAtRangeIndex(i);
          System.out.println("DeptId= " + r.getAttribute("DepartmentId"));
        }

    Hello world

    You normally see this problem when the vo or eo is not a primary key defined. Check that each OT and vo should have a defined primary key that is unique for the vo.

  • Create lines of master / detail in Application Module Impl

    Hello

    I use Studio Edition Version 11.1.2.3.0

    I need to create programmatically from the lines of master / detail of a method in my Application Module Impl.

    I'm using the code below, but they always tell me that the foreign key is required in the detail row: oracle.jbo.AttrValException: Houston-27014: UserId in UserPreferenceEO attribute is required.

    Can anyone recommend the correct way to do this?

    Thank you very much

    NVP NameValuePairs = new NameValuePairs();
    nvp.setAttribute ("name", "value");

    I had a simular problem a few weeks back.
    To a master VO you must:

    And for a VO detail:

  • Master / detail prevent insertion line detail if the master does not exist

    Hello

    I have a complex page that has several pairs of master / detail on it. I have what should be a simple problem to work around that I can't understand. On each table (master or detail), I have a button create header and a delete button in each row. I have a few questions, I can't seem to cross.

    1. how to turn off the details create button if there is no master of the line or one has not been selected by the user? (At the moment you can create detail without a valid master line rows)
    2. how to disable the removal of main line button, if there is (or not) details of current lines?

    I think I only got 2 having a transient attribute on the main line that uses groovy and the accessor to link views to count the detail rows. It seems to work, but if there is a better solution, cleaner I'm all ears. I can't seem to operate 1 little matter what I try.

    Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Hello

    You can use iterator estimatedRowCount to disable the button of

    disabled="#{!(bindings.mastervoIterator.estimatedRowCount ge 0)}"

    and use the currentRow determint property if the current row is selected as

    disabled="#{!(bindings.mastervoIterator.currentRow ne null)}"

    Thus, the combination will be as follows

    disabled="#{!(bindings.mastervoIterator.estimatedRowCount ge 0 and bindings.mastervoIterator.currentRow ne null)}"

    I hope this helps...

    Kind regards.

  • Creating lines of master / details in a table

    Hello

    How to create the relationship of the master / detail between the columns in a table?

    For example, I have a table with 3 columns as address (input box), Country (a selection list box), State (select one box list). I create State LoVs using view accessors for table and country view object. By choosing a country, I need to dig the status column values according to the selected country.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    I guess that you need a "cascading LOVs.
    (1) create viewObject for list of country values. Named VO1.
    (2) create viewObject for list of status values. The name of VO2.
    (3) create view for (variable binding) VO2 criteria that may restrict the result by country.
    (4) create view accessor to get VO1.
    (5) create view accessor to get the VO2. Set the value of the bind variable which can provide country information dynamically. I guess it must be a Groovy expression.
    (View accessor 6) Create country LOV on step 4).
    (View accessor 7) create the State LOV on step 5).

    Fact

    On the view layer, you can enable PPR between countries and the States of the attributes.

  • Does does detail form table link/sync or to your master?

    In addition to slide / move, if I manually add a form or a table that corresponds to the detail VO (for example children) to a JSF which already has a master form of VO (parent, for example), how can I synchronize the newly added long-form or table to the master?

    I read on a blog when you add master/detail as a table/table, it's on the trigger definition partial on the secondary table to the ID of the main table. If the master is a form, however, I can't understand how this synchronization is performed.

  • How to display two dept details at the same time in the form of master-detail

    Hi Experts

    In Forms 6I, using the Scott schema, table DEPT & EMP has created a simple form of master-details relationships.

    Currently when user Dept Block shows all lines dept and EMP block display data based on the selection of deptno.

    It's only a deptno both.

    If the user in the No. 10, block EMP Dept will display all the data related to 10

    If the user moves to 20 Deptno, block EMP will display all the data related to 20.

    And so on.

    But our requirement, what happens if we want to see the 10 and 20 at once (both several deptno)

    Thank you

    Thanks for your information.

    In fact, our requirement is only to display data, he own be no matter what update of data/insertion.

    So below and working for our requirement

    • Remove relationship
    • Additional box on master block.
    • Write code cursor on the box selection - which will fill/clear data block information based on the checkbox selection on block Master.

    Oracle Apps training: how to display two Department employee details at the same time in the master/detail relationship

  • Using wizard to create forms of master / detail

    Hi guys,.

    I'm using JHeadstart 11.1.1.3.35 and having major problems trying to create records of master / details in a layout of the wizard

    Department Master (shape, style Assistant, insert enabled, new line on entry)
    Group of retail employees (form, data dependant, allowed insert, update has allowed)

    Using schema HR with a view link between services and employees

    Main group Department (Assistant)
    = > Region of the element (all the fields of the Department)
    = > Region container
    = > Region group (Group of retail employees)

    (NB - if I used a group of the region as step in the wizard at a higher level, the following error occurred during the generation which is why I wrapped it in a container of the region...

    [NewDepartmentNewEmp.jsff, default/pageComponent/formRegionGroup.vm] Journal of speed [error] method pushModelPointer threw the exception of reference $JHS for model default/pageComponent/formRegionGroup.vm at [1,1]

    The problem is that the detail of employee group does not start in design mode.

    I tried the create() method substitution in DepartmentsImpl

    protected void create (AttributeList attributeList) {}
    Super.Create (AttributeList);

    NewEmployee RowIterator = this.getEmployees ();
    NewRow row = newEmployee.createRow ();
    newEmployee.insertRow (newRow);
    }

    I also tried the override of the executeQueryForCollection method in detail (saw this solution suggested in another post on creating a form-form master / detail)

    protected void executeQueryForCollection (Object, object,
    Object [] bindParams,
    int i) {}
    super.executeQueryForCollection (object, bindParams, i);
    If (getEstimatedRowCount() == 0) {}
    Line = createRow().
    insertRow (row);
    row.setNewRowState (Row.STATUS_INITIALIZED);
    }
    }

    Nothing works well. I want to be able to use a wizard to create a record of master / detail in presentation view shape-to-shape. Is it possible, using a detail group, or do I have to create a separate view object that contains two master entity objects / detail in it and then just use the only VO in the Group Assistant of JHeadstart.

    This seems a very basic requirement, I clearly do something wrong!

    See you soon,.
    Brent

    Brent,

    To start in design mode, you must create the Group NewDeptEMp as a top-level group, so he will have his own taskflow. You can then define the new display line on the input property.

    In your wizard NewDept, you create a group of the region DIRECTLY under the container of the separatePages region, check "Include as ADFc region" then select the NewDeptEMp group.

    To work around the error that you got during the generation of the group in the region as an immediate child of the container sepeartePages, use the following code to formGroupRegion.vm:

  • Problem with application master / detail with AdvancedTable

    Hello

    We have a region of master / details in a standard way as follows.
    1. a MasterVO, a child VO, ViewLink connecting them.
    2. on the page, we have an AdvancedTable based on MasterVO and an AdvancedTable nested in a region to show/hide for more details.
    3. in the processRequest() CO, the association is defined as
    OAWebBean outerTable = (OAWebBean) webBean.findChildRecursive ("ResultsTable");
    OAWebBean innerTable = (OAWebBean) webBean.findChildRecursive ("PmtInstructionsTable");
    If (outerTable! = null) {outerTable.setAttributeValue (CHILD_VIEW_ATTRIBUTE_NAME, "PaymentServiceRequestId");
    outerTable.setAttributeValue(VIEW_LINK_NAME,"PsrToPmtInstructionsVL1") ;}
    If (innerTable! = null) {innerTable.setAttributeValue (CHILD_VIEW_ATTRIBUTE_NAME, "PaymentServiceRequestId");
    innerTable.setAttributeValue (VIEW_LINK_NAME, "PsrToPmtInstructionsVL1");
    4. When you press a button to refresh on this table, executeQuery() is called on MasterVO.
    In the test case, I change some attributes in both your. Problem here is that, after this update, the master is on the line is being updated but the detail of any line of MasterVO, is not updated DB. I confirmed this JDev logs too this detail VO query is not executed.
    It is not supposed to have the details updated through VL line?
    Try each of the following:
    a. clearCache() on innerTable
    b. executeQuery() on DetailVO during the refresh.
    c. instead of the programmatic association of the master / detail, defined the relationship of step 3

    It seems that AdvancedTable used to detail is cached information. How can this be avoided? Or am I missing something else?

    For reference,.

    Thank you

    I had problems with the lines of childVO does not show correctly when you use a train, I have cleared the cache on the table with the following processRequest code

    Table OAAdvancedTableBean = (OAAdvancedTableBean) webBean.findChildRecursive ("childTableRN");
    table.clearCache (pageContext);

    don't know if this will help with your problem but if it's worth a mention.

  • Problem with page validation APEX_APPLICATion master detail.  Help!

    I'm having a problem with the Apex_Application.g_fxx data structure.  I'm trying to validate the lines in my page master detail and need to use apex_application.g_f10 as the name of the variable inside the HTML data source electricity.  The name of the item I need is "f10" because it matches the database column "status" on my page.  I'm trying to validate that all the detail items have the same status, or an error is reported.  I use the following PL/SQL block that returns a Boolean value:

    < code >

    declare
    l_first_value varchar2 (4000);
    Start

    -f10 = column PO_STATUS of PO_DETAILS table on a part as a table on the page.

    l_first_value: = apex_application.g_f10 (1);
    because me in 2... apex_application.g_f10. COUNTY
    loop
    If l_first_value! = apex_application.g_f10 (i)
    then
    Returns false;
    end if;
    end loop;
    Returns true;
    end;

    < code >

    The HTML data that I is not intended to "f10" are the following:

    < code >

    < td headers= "Status" class= "t20data" >

    < label for= "f10_0000" class= "hideMeButHearMe" >status< /label>

    < Select name="f10"  id="f10_0000">

    < option value= "" selected= "selected" >make a selection< /option> ""

    < option value= 'APPROVED' >APPROVED< /option>

    < option valeur= « FERMÉ » >FERMÉ< /option>

    </ Select >

    < entry type="hidden" name="f02" value=""  id="f02_0000" />

    < entry type="hidden" name="f03" value="30427" id="f03_0000" />

    < entry type= 'hidden' id= "fcs_0000" name= "fcs" value= "2158A9B101842608F4CA966C0BC1433D" >

    < entry type="hidden" id="frowid_0000" name="frowid" value="" />

    < entry type="hidden" id="fcud_0000" name="fcud" value="D" />

    </ td >

    < code >

    So I do not know why there could be a problem when used to work before this validation.  The PL/SQL block takes the first line of F10 data and compare it to successive lines.  If the data is not equal, then an error occurs and the user is prompted to adjust the data.

    It doesn't work anymore, although I checked and the status are still of points in F10.

    I left mouth gaping.  I do not use an official page master detail previously.  I used two separate front pages: one for the header and one for show master detail.  I've updated the page for the treatment of the more fluid user. I think that even if the data structure would be the same, but maybe I'm wrong.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Thank you to reproduce the problem so overall. Note that if you will share your workspace in this way you need to change your username to something else than a direct email address and don't use not the actual data for your test cases. Create a guest account to developer without administrator privileges to work space for the members of the forum to use.

    Validation in this app is coded to use a different picture of the description in this thread. Above, you have identified the point like g_f10 dashboard, but the validation code is using g_f09:

    declare
      l_first_value  varchar2(4000);
    begin
    -- f09 = PO_STATUS column of PO_DETAILS table
      l_first_value := apex_application.g_f09(1);
      for i in 2 .. apex_application.g_f09.COUNT
      loop
        if l_first_value != apex_application.g_f09(i)
        then
            return false;
        end if;
      end loop;
      return true;
    end;

    Therefore (thanks to instrumentation code added), the validation is running by using the values of the previous column, which was be the one that I have changed according to your instructions:

  • Master-detail - page updated

    Hi all

    I implement updated for logic with master-detail page.

    My expectations:

    Both master Vo and Vo of detail is executed with Set whereclause and line master and detail gets displayed.

    The two actions are required in the application process.

    Result:

    Executing query (even after call run the query for master and detail VO), master line get appears. Detail line is not displayed,

    However when the form application process is called (by clicking on the button Save), detail lines gets displayed.

    My logic to query example: (your have VL and EOs have AO)

    PR:

    Configuration where clause;

    XXAM.getXxcfirIcfUpMasterVO1 () .executeQuery ();

    XXAM.getXxcfirIcfUpDetailVO1 () .executeQuery ();

    PFR:

    The logic of adding new line-to-line in detail.

    Save button.

    Is there a way to show line main and details while that Page gets loaded through the application process and still not break the relation ship master detail since must be made on the update page.

    Thank you and best regards,

  • Master / detail createInsert jumping required attributes validation with part delivery = true

    Hi all

    I use JDev 11.1.1.7.0

    I created master / detail on table emp dept and slipped and fell from CreateInsert in both tables.

    I put partial Submit true for these two buttons.

    Scenario: when I add a record in the master and try to add another rec, mandatory validation fires and it doesnot allow me to add new rec if already a rec void is there.

    But after adding in master, if I add a new rec in child, isn't shooting the validation of required attributes in the parent table. So a new blank record is created is in the child. ]

    If I put part delivery = false for child createInsert, fires of validation.

    Question: in my application, I set partialSubmit = true to CreateInsert child. Although I gave the partial trigger for the main table, validation of required attributes is not get fired for master.

    How to solve this? User should not be able to add a record of the child without filling out the required attributes
