Clear the MEMORY. DMP file?

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Can I remove the huge C:\Windows\MEMORY. DMP file? It has been amended 30/12/2010, so I doubt that the information it contains is necessary.

Yes, you can remove it.

How to display the memory dump files?

    Tracy

They need special tools and experience.  Would be better if we did it for you

We need the DMP file because it contains the single record of the sequence of events that led to the accident, what drivers have been loaded, and what has been loaded.
WE NEED AT LEAST TWO FILES DMP TO SPOT TRENDS AND TO CONFIRM THE DIAGNOSIS.

Please follow our instructions to find and download the files, we need to help you fix your computer. They can be found at here

  • Clear the memory of the HP Photosmart 5220 device

    Hello

I was wondering if the HP Photosmart 5220 holds all memory such that I can remove it before giving this printer?

    see you soon,

    Lum

You are welcome.  If you have the printer connected to a network, you can select the

The button 'key ' |  Wireless |  Restore the default settings of the network

    Then select the

The button 'key ' |  Tools |  Restore the default settings

For good measure, you could do a complete Reset of the Semi.  It is a resetting of the stronger, and if successful, would reset the default printer and clear the memory.  If the printer was on a wireless network, it should be removed and would need to be reconnected.  If you want to try it, I can send the steps in a private message to your Forums HP in-box.  I need you agree to not post the stages.  Let me know what you decide.

    Hello

The term 'Secondary memory', not 'memory', has been / is used to describe hard drives, etc. (it went out of use by a lot of people lately).

Try using this free program to see what is stored on your hard drive and taking space:

  • How to clear the Windows.edb file in Windows 8

DISPLAY TO THE CLIENT ACCOUNT *.

The customer has a PC under Windows 8, and he wondered how to remove the Windows.edb file. He recorded 60 GB of information. Is it possible to have the option of Windows search and have this file shrunk down to the size? Is it possible to empty this folder? Anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this problem?

    Please respond with more information.

Thank you very much for the help!

I just had this problem myself, with a clue consuming 107/278 GiB!

    Here's the trick:
    (1) search for "Indexing Options" (under "settings"). Open it.
    (2) search for 'services' (or run "services.msc") and find "Windows Search". Stop the service.
    (3) remove the Windows.edb file
    4) click on "Change" in the Panel "Indexing Options" already open, then click on "Erase and rebuild" for the index. You can also specify another drive to store the index on.
    Hope that helps.

  • erase the memory of labview

I'm working on a program of visulization of data that visualizes the data in different locations and performs post-processing such as reduction of the noise etc.. The data file is about 100 m wide, generated by "writing on a binary" clusters and berries. The visulization program is contructured in a mode of "state machine". It reads data from first, and then passes the data to move records to data different treatments, depending on which tab is clicked on the façade.  My problem is all first, it takes about 1 G of memory after reading the data file of 100 M. Secondly, after I run several times (to load different data files) memory continues to grow and possibly blocking the program.  Is it possible for a better distribution of memory and erase the previous data, once I loaded a different data file? A simplified program, in which I deleted most of the patterns of data processing is attached. Thank you!

One method would be to reduce the number of times that you copy the data from the file through shift registers. You can also use the 'new data value reference' function instead of registers with shift if you use your file of data multiple times. Once you have finished processing the data, use the 'request for release' and 'remove reference to data value' to clear the memory.
