Windows 7: memory.dmp files disappear

Hello

My windows 7 crushes from time to time, but there is no memory.dmp files. My OS is windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit with 4 GB of RAM. The boot configuration and recovery is:

Virtual memory have 6450 MB initial size and maximum 12280Mb size. When it goes blue screen I wait it s 100% and then turn off.

Maybe windows 7 remove the memory.dmp file to stop or start?

Sorry, the boot configuration and recovery is:

By default the operating system: Windows 7

Time to display list of operating systems: checked (5 seconds)

Time to display recovery options needed: unchecked

Write an event to the system log: checked

Automatically restart: unchecked

Writing debugging information: image kernel memory

Empty the file: % SystemRoot%\MEMORY. DMP

Replace any existing file: checked

Hello Patrick,.

Memory test didn t find errors, but I had to reinstall windows 7 due to a virus and now the problem is solved.

Thanks for your help

  • Error Windows with Memory.dmp after registry cleaner

    Hello

    Often, I run my registry (Eusing) cleaner to help my computer work better. But recently, he finds more errors than usual and after cleaning the registry, I lost the use of my touchpad (because I use a laptop), my computer ran more slowly (even if she becomes faster), and restart, shut down or even shut down my laptop, it will always do, then come (when it comes) telling me an error that forced the phone to restart. The error concerns the files

    C:\windows\minidump\061114-26972-01.dmp

    C:\Users\*username*\appdata\local\temp\wer-76471-0.SysData.XML

    C:\windows\memory.dmp

    After restarting my computer in safe mode, the errors have not persisted, but restarting leads to a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION.

    Please let me know which files you need to see, and how I can download them.

    Registry cleaning programs are all snake oil. Cleaning of the
    registration is not necessary and is dangerous. Let alone register and
    do not use any registry cleaner. Despite what many people think, and
    What software record cleaning suppliers are trying to convince you,
    have unused registry entries is not really make you hurt.

    The risk of a serious problem caused by a registry cleaner by mistake
    delete an entry you need is much greater than any potential benefit
    It can have.

    Read

    and also
    http://blogs.technet.com/markrussinovich/Archive/2005/10/02/registry-junk-a-Windows-fact-of-life.aspx

    Here cleaning product:
    http://www.howtogeek.com/113382/how-to-use-CCleaner-like-a-Pro-9-tips-tricks/

    Let me stress that neither me nor anyone else who warns the
    use of registry cleaners never said that they always cause
    problems. If they have always caused problems, they would disappear from
    the market almost immediately. Many people have used a registry
    cleaner and never had a problem with it.

    The problem with a registry cleaner is that it carries with it
    the risk of a significant problem. And since there is no
    benefits of using a registry cleaner, running that risk is a very bad
    good deal.

    Need help with windows defender. all my files folders pictures everythiing disappeared and I find myself with this black screen and it is not all good: o)

    I don't know why vista windows no longer charge, or when the files and folders disappeared

    How Windows Defender is on this problem?

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Data recovery:

    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
    Download the Vista software from the link above.
    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
    See you soon.
    Hello
    We have three controls compatible bug:
    MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (1A)
    This indicates that an error occurred serious memory management.
    Error checking 1A, {41790, fffffa800339b0a0, ffff, 0}
    - Parameter 1 of the bug check is 41790 indicating a page table was corrupted.
    System_service_exception (3B)
    This indicates that an exception happened during execution of a routine that passes from non-preferred to the privileged code code.
    This error has been linked to the excessive use of expanded memory and resulting from user mode graphics drivers enjambment and passing data incorrect of the kernel code.
    The exception is produced in nt! ExpInterlockedPopEntrySListFault16.
    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (50)
    This indicates that invalid system memory was referenced.
    Bug control 0 x 50 usually occurs after the installation of a faulty hardware or installation failure of material (usually associated with defective RAM, either main memory, L2 RAM or RAM video cache).
    Another common cause is a defective system service installation.
    Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume.
    Run Memtest for NO LESS than ~ 8 going on (several hours):
    Memtest86 +:
    Download Memtest86 + here:
    http://www.memtest.org/
    Which should I download?
    You can either download the ISO pre-built you want to burn to a CD and then boot from the CD, or you can download the automatic installer of the USB. What this will do is format your USB drive, make a boot device and then install the necessary files. Both do the same job, it's just you that you choose, or you have available (be it CD or USB).
    Note that some older generation motherboards do not support USB boot, your only option is CD (or floppy if you really wanted to).
    How Memtest works:
    Memtest86 writes a series of test patterns for most of the addresses of memory, reads the written data and compares it to find errors.
    The default pass is 9 different tests, varying in the modes of access and test data. A tenth test, bland, is selectable in the menu. He wrote all the memory with zeros, then sleeps 90 minutes before checking to see if the bits have changed (perhaps because of refresh problems). This is repeated with all those for a total time of 3 hours by pass.
    Many chipsets can report RAM speed and timings by SPD (Serial Presence Detect) or EPP (Enhanced Performance Profiles), and some even support changing the expected memory speed. If the expected memory speed is overclockee, Memtest86 can test that memory is free of error with these faster settings.
    Some hardware is able to report the status of the "PAT" (PAT: active or PAT: disabled). This is a reference to the Intel performance acceleration technology; There may be the BIOS settings that affect this aspect of memory synchronization.
    This information, if it is available for the program, can be displayed via a menu option.
    Other questions, they can most likely be answered by reading this excellent guide here:
  • Your system is low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file. This process may be denied requests for some applications.
    When I start my laptop I get "your system is low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file. This process may be denied requests for some applications. "and my laptop takes forever or does not open my programs. any help? Thank you.
    less than low disk space,
    What seems to be the case, it's that your windows is having a hard time resize its file for virtual memory.
    my suggestion is to remove "auto" at that time, and then set a custom format.
    I recommend that you set the initial size of 2 and max at 1152.
    Here's how to put a link:
    Hi Larry-664,
    ·         You try to retrieve files or is it just an error of analysis?
    ·         What is the full error message?
    ·         When you see this error message?
    ·         What analysis do you use?
    ·         You have some problems to access the files, or if you find missing files?
    Give the link to the thread in which you received the virus removal help.
    Follow the steps to run the Windows memory diagnostic tool.
    Hi, there, PC of my little brother had a big problem today. Coz the files disappeared after restore of Windows Vista recovery.
    How can he recover his files and other data?
    Thank you to you all.
    Hello
    a clean install wipes the hard drive clean of everything
    You cannot undo what you've done
    If you have lost data, you can try this
  • The files 'disappear' when you add a period to a folder or a file name in windows through GUI
    The files 'disappear' when you add a period to a folder or a file name in windows through GUI
    I don't know if it's a bug, but certainly doesn't seem like it should be the case. I tried on both 64-bit and 32-bit on windows 7. Does not make this error on XP or vista.
    Can someone explain to me what is happening?
    To reproduce, in windows 7 make a file or folder, and THEN add a ".". (period) to the end of the name of the file and look at the file "disappear". It's still there, just need to refresh (F5) and it reappears (w/o of the annex "." because it's an illegal file naming convention).
    I tried to do the same thing but through command line and it always auto corrects names of files to the conventions, and correctly, it remains on the GUI, so I think that the problem is related to the graphical mode of name change
  • Delete or not; "System error Memory Dump Files" & "Debug dump files" in the Windows 7 disk cleanup program
    I am new to Windows 7, 64-bit OS and making the disk cleanup program. There are 2 unfamiliar topics with boxes to check what are the "Debug Dump Files" and "system error memory dump files.  I'm naïve as to what are these files and whether they contain all files that possibly should not be deleted.  Can anyone say and find out about what are the debug files and system error Memory Dump and if; Should I or not the check their boxes to get rid of all these files in particular type box?  Or could there be some Debug files & system error Memory Dump that might be of some importance and should not be deleted?
    Thank you for your time and any comments on this would be greatly appreciated.  Have a nice weekend.
    Tom R
    One good thing about Windows Disk Clean up is, only offer files delete them it is safe and will not harm your PC. Files of system errors and debugging dump files are created when there is an error in your system, and it creates a dump file that could be used for analyses. That say if you encounter blue screen error, dump file will create and if you find analysis you of cause of this problem. Whether or not you want to remove, you, some people will delete it only while others will keep the Explorer themselves later. But more importantly, it is wise to report them to Microsoft before deleting.
    To do this, open Control Panel and click under Maintenance contract and Action Center, click Check for solutions then it will collect all the information related to the errors and dump files and he could ask permission to send them and if you great permission, they will be sent. Once it was successful you can delete them.
    Sending the Microsoft dump files is a good idea, because there are teams who revisit and they try to find the cause and resolve it through Windows Update, or inform you about the possible solution in the center of the Action.
  • In Windows 7 How to remove system error memory dump files?
    On windows 7 I got "system error memory dump files" when I tried to use the disk cleaner.  My computer is slowing down and does well at the mouse arrow.
    Advice so far is to use "Disk Cleanup" deleat these files however dialogue disk cleanup does not offer the choice to deleate "system error memory dump files" so what should I do?
  • Dmp file that is created by Windows in a collision
    Why the dmp file that is created by Windows in a collision is unreadable by Windows, with a message that Windows does not recognize this file type. Really, it's quite shocking to have the operating system to create a file once a critical failure and the operating system cannot even read this type of file. It would be laughable if Windows has cost £/ $0.01 but it doesn't. It is quite appalling. I really don't want to download a third party software to do this, and neither turning well should I.
    You can follow the link below:
    The reason does not provide native support for the type of file, is that the file contains complex entries that must be consulted for debugging by people who are aware of the work of Windows. But, Windows is used by the common people and it is not possible to expect everyone to be aware of this (like Linux) and so Microsoft provides no native support in Windows for the file type. So, those interested can download all the necessary tools to open the file. It's like Visual Studio.
