Click FieldManager

Hi, I wonder how I can address this problem.

I HorizontalFieldManager (hfm) USE_ALL_WIDTH and have added a focusable bitmapfield inside.

I have the bitmapfield priority so that the hfm wins color (focus effect), but this happens only when I'm concentrating the bitmapfield for obvious reasons. What I'm trying to do is to hfm get the same focus so I don't concentrate on the bitmapfield.

It becomes hard to achieve when dealing with touch screens and I want my hfm obtain focus when touch parts of the hfm instead of only bitmapfield.

Help, please!

Just an addition to what Peter said:

(1) prepare all the checks on THE events.

(2) do not here setFocus in touchEvent - schedule it via invokeLater (much, much cleaner and easier to debug)

(3) return super.touchEvent in all cases - DOWN events need to be processed correctly by all the framework, not only by the substitution of your Manager. This is akin to, say, system hooks into other operating systems which should be completed by "invoke the next hook. You can skip this step for more complex events like CLICK, UNCLICK, MOVING, etc., but downwards and upwards should absolutely be on the system in addition to your own code. Complete substitutions can be made in games, but little else.

    In my Application, I have a HorizontalFieldManager containing a few buttons and the main part of the screen for another Manager (VertikalFieldManager).

    By clicking on the buttons I have to show different content (complex) in the main part of the screen.

    It seems a simple enough thing to do.

    It is quite a simple thing to do on a page web (with pictures!), but how can you do this in a Blackberry java Application?

    I don't think you need to extend a Manager to achieve what you want here.

    When I "optional bits" I have add and remove, I add a handler at the insertion point.  Then when I want to add fields to this moment, I add fields to this Manager.  When I want to clear the fields I remove fields to this Manager.  I often do in the FieldChanged method.  A strategy like this work for you?

    Regarding your problem, you actually never add your fields on the screen.  You add fields to formfm, which is a new Manager you create in the constructor of FormFieldManager.  But you actually never add it Manager for anything whatsoever.  If the fields have managers, but the Manager doesn't have a Manager.  I think that if you change

    formfm. Add (Surname);
    formfm. Add (FirstName);

    TO

    formfm. Add (Surname);
    formfm. Add (FirstName);

    This.Add (formfm);

    your domain can be viewed.  However, I think that the approach you are trying to use here is more complicated that you need, and I encourage you to use the approach I described in the first paragraph.

  • Remove the screen on the menu Manager, click

    Currently I have a screen, the user can bring up the menu and select an option that displays a series of buttons in a fieldmanager.  It works very much like on click menu create and add buttons to the Manager then the screen.  I want to do now is if the user selects an option in the menu to delete the buttons I'd remove the screen Manager.  I'm trying to do the following (taken from another thread)

    initialize in the constructor of your display manager, for example. Another option would be to return, but I prefer the first one for a better overview.

    in your case:

    declare the handler as a class variable in the class of your screen. initialize it in the constructor. Add and remove it from your menu methods.

    a general Council: instead delete, you can use replace. at least if you use several insertion/removal routines you can lose the correct index quickly, and if you add a field then rewriting half of your code. for this reason I use a NullField who is not active, I add them to the places where I want to dynamically insert managers.

    It is probably just to ask your location and is not a virus. Try going to System Preferences/security & privacy / confidentiality, unlock the lock and see if there is a box you can uncheck which stops applications. Safari is probably the logical choice.

    I noticed that when I use the on/standby button, the former 'click' has been replaced with a 'thud '. Is anyway back the 'click '? I looked in the sounds settings control panel but didn't see a way to change this; just it turn on or off.

    You are right, that the clique of keyboard are different in the iOS 10.  While it is not a way to restore the 'click' sound from iOS 9, there is a way to disable the clicks completely.  Please go to settings > sounds and scroll all the way down.  There you will see the toggle switches that allow you to turn both the new keyboard clicks and the new sound of locking in iOS 10.

    Hi, I'm on MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid-2015, retina), freshly updated for Sierra, force click has stopped working.

    I have checked all the options, rebooted the system, still no clear sign of what is the problem.

    If I understand correctly, you are using macOS Sierra and you try to use the power of touch, but it does not perform this action.

  • Pop/clicks in audio when you use an external DAC of lightning with iPhone 7

    Has anyone tried using an external DAC lightning with the iPhone 7?  I have a TEAC HA - P50 and a Bayerdynamic A200p and both have the sounds by clicking / jumping when the music plays.  Permutation of the cable does not resolve the issue.  These questions were not using a 6 s iPhone or iPad iOS running Pro 10.  Lightning provided the 3.5 mm adapter does not have the same problem that makes me wonder if it's just a problem of compatibility with the new iPhone.  The problem is present on an iPhone 7 runs both iOS 10.0.1 and 10.0.2.  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    I have exactly the same problem running Dragonfly black DAC, random appears, click on the bangs. Audio format makes no difference, nor does the file be listened to downloaded. The CAD even works great with a MacBook Pro running macOS Sierra.
