  • My laptop has sometimes bsod after updating!

I have a laptop HP running windows 8 32-bit! I don't know who it is! It started about a week after I got it! I kept getting bsod after updating. My brother recommended I have download ccleaner which got rid of bsod for about 2 months. I think that burning causing the bsod has some images of memory. Recently updated. I have ccleaned but no memory dumps were found. I thought that windows had finally corrected this bug. I used my laptop for a day! And then all of a sudden the BSODs happened. I did not worth it to go back on my PC. Please can someone help me!

    Hey Mohindra3

Looks like you have a problem with persistent blue screens. It would help to know which model you have.

If you need help with this information, you can follow this link.

It would also be useful to know if you upgraded to Windows 8 32-bit.

Another step, you can try running a diagnostic test on your hard disk and RAM. Follow this link for steps on it.

Blue screens can sometimes be caused by damaged or incompatible drivers. The hard drive and RAM diagnostic tests will help refine the question though.

You could also provide with the minidump file that will give me a lot of information. You can navigate to C:\Windows\minidump. You will need to download the newest .dmp file to a third party site, (such as sendspace.com or filedump.com or another site like those) given that the HP forums do not allow this type of downloading files. Just to provide me with a link to the site whatever you choose so that I can take a look at the .dmp file.

I hope these steps help! I'll keep an eye out for your answer.

  • Satellite Pro L300: BSOD after updating BIOS

    Hello

After updating the Bios of the Satellite Pro L300, windows will not start!
His show the blue screen of death!

    What can I do?

    Hello

You are able to access the BIOS settings?
I m not very well why this BSOD appears, but eventually the SATA mode settings have been changed after the BIOS update

Usually the SATA mode must be on AHCI if the SATA drivers are installed.
But if the SATA drivers are not included the SATA mode must be set to compatible.

    Please check this!

In addition, you could set the BIOS default settings and may try to start the computer again.

    Hello Vic_007,

If this started after updating Nvidia drivers, you can reinstall the previous drivers series that you were using for the moment, keep an eye on new Nvidia drivers in the meantime.

Also, can you zip the contents of the C:\windows\minidumps folder and post it in a public folder on http://skydrive.live.com?

After that, post the link on this thread so that we can look at landfills.

  • BSOD after updating Windows and it is not installed.

A blue screen of death appears whenever I put it in sleep mode, standby time, turn it off or restart.  It happened from a windows update when I started it up after it stops after the update, and she appeared with another update.  He still wants to install the update, but it still gets a BSOD at the end.  The BSOD seems to point to usbhub.sys.  Thank you.
    Signature of the problem:
    Problem event name: BlueScreen
    The system version: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 1033
    More information about the problem:
    BCCode: 1000007e
    BCP1: C0000005
    BCP2: D 907 5013
    BCP3: ACF80B68
    BCP4: ACF80864
    OS version: 6_0_6002
    Service Pack: 2_0
    Product: 768_1
Files helping to describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini042210-01.dmp
    C:\Users\office depot\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-113724-0.sysdata.xml
    C:\Users\office depot\AppData\Local\Temp\WER5DC8.tmp.version.txt

You indicate that you get blue screen after the update is finished installing. Or do you find only the blue screen when you perform certain functions with the system which requires a State of transition of power (sleep, restart, etc.)?

You've got bugcheck SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED caused an access violation.

You can download the contents of c:\windows\minidump on your SkyDrive? The discharge can take probably a few additional details.

To treat blue screens, following general tips:

Consider running chkdsk on all partitions.  Leave complete chkdsk on each partition and see if that helps.

    Also consider running SFC/scannow.

If you start in safe mode, do you still feel bugs? What if you do a clean boot, or boot device?

Other common suggestions include ensuring drivers are up to date (including video drivers), but also to ensure that you use the latest version of the BIOS.

Consider the memory with memtest86 or Windows Memory Diagnostic test. Note that memory that pass the tests isn't necessarily good memory - he not only failed a review.  Examine systematically to eliminate the system RAM - run with a few modules for awhile and see how things are going. Then try the other modules.

For the case of memory corruption such as you seem to be experiencing, it may be useful to use Driver Verifier.  To activate the... Driver Verifier start-> verifier.exe-> OK-> create standard settings - > then-> the names of the drivers select in a list-> next-> sort by provider-> select all non-Microsoft drivers-> finish and OK your way out of the dialog box.

Then restart and use the system as you normally and wait for a problem.  In case the system does not completely start after activation of the Verifier, boot mode safe and run driver verifier and tell him to remove the changes.

Wait for an error checking to happen after you have enabled the auditor as described and then transfer it to your SkyDriveand provide a link.

  • Compatible BSOD after updating Windows 8 at the driver Razer Anansi

I have Windows 8.  I just ran Windows Update and installed 2 Optional updates: the most recent update of security and one of Razer Anansi keyboard driver.  After the updates, I rebooted my computer.  After the great success to update and restart, when I press the button SHIFT on my keyboard (a Razer Anansi) my computer crashes to BSOD and I got the error message "WDF_Violation" and it shows "rzudd.sys" is the file in question.  "rzudd.sys" I found is a file in the of Razer Anansi keyboard driver has been updated to Windows 8.  Now, I'm dead in the water.  I have tried everything I can with the tools that I have: SAFEMODE w / networking, restoration of the last restore point, PC refresh, repair the system files, etc..  I myself will be another keyboard to see if I can use it to remove the pilot after the connection, but what are my other options?  Y at - it all?  How has this driver by the QC for Windows Update?

My computer was working great just before the updates, and the problem with the SHIFT key pressed, causing the BSOD began just after the WU/reboot to complete the updates.
Given that safe MODE is a joke now in Windows 8, how the hell are we supposed to troubleshoot failed 3 drivers rd-party that use generic drivers?  The BSOD indicates that the driver Razer Anansi load again once I started in the new, so-called, SAFE MODE.

    This fix worked for me:

    Unplug the keyboard

Uninstall all software razer and drivers you in Add/Remove programs as well as Device Manager
Install the latest bloatware http://www.razerzone.com/ synapse
Let it reboot, connect keyboard, let it update.
Should be fixed! Mines of all good after doing this, don't know why I didn't, guess I just understand a driver alone would suffice, not all bloody program.
  • BSOD after updating Flash 10.2.152.26 using FF and Seamonkey

After the update to Flash 10.2.152.26, each time trying to open a site containing flash (like youtube, adobe.de etc.), the system is freecing and follows a BSOD.

The module causing the BSOD is watchdog.sys.

Failure happens all the time using Firefox 3.6.13 or Seamonkey 2.0.11.

The system is Win XP Pro SP 3 with all real security updates.

System security is made with Avira Antivir personal, Spybot S & D and Threatfire.

All programs have been installed in weeks before and up to what the flash update it there were no BSOD during the past years.

    My Questions:

-is this known problem of other people using flash in combination with the SS or Seamonkey - or with other programs running in the background such as MSN, ICQ, YAHOO Messenger etc...

-How can I get an older version of flash - there is no download available on Adobes Webside

The BSOD occurs also on the test page http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ FP?

Otherwise, right click on the Flash object, settings, and then clear the hardware acceleration.

    Hello

  • BSoD after updating Windows on Win7 Pro SP1 x 64

So, yesterday windows had installed updates for my machine, but now when I turn it on, it crashes with this error

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA 0 x 00000050 (win32k.sys)

I didn't install anything last time, it was only windows update itself

    Thanks for the reply

Apparently my first answer could not be validated, so I'll try again:

Its a known issue, see this post for a way to repair:

    Also:

  • Satellite L300D BSOD on reboot after updates to Win7 64 bit

Satellite L300D BSOD on reboot after updates to Windows on Win7 64-bit (toshiba version). Restoration of the system, safe mode, nothing helps.

I am now installing the 32-bit version, but hey, 64-bit must be possible, does it not?
    I'm open to good ideas.

    Thanks much for this information.
Seems the BIOS update would solve the BSOD with Win 7 64 bit OS problems

    Welcome.

  • BSOD after installing the update of Norton on HPg7

Laptop has been random and very frequent BSOD after an automatic update of Norton. Tried everything but that remove Norton stopped the problem. Deleted Norton several months ago without even a recurrence of the problem therefore reasonably certain that the cause was the Norton. Myy question is what anti-virus program is known to work reliably on HP g7? Currently to have not installed because I don't know wht will run.

    Hello

Fewer hogging resources & a pretty decent anti-virus software which can only be invoked:
    Windows 7 & Vista: http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/microsoft-security-essentials.aspx

    Windows 8: http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/windows-defender.aspx

    Kind regards
