Clock spinning blackBerry Smartphones

What is the purpose of the small black square clock with spinning 'second hand' that appears in the middle of the screen of my Bold9000?

It says "downloading information or program?

Why does appear and when he does why are all frozen functions?

It is associated with excessive memory or is this a bug?

Thanks, that makes sense.

I'll try to close all the applications and see if that solves the recurrence of the spinning clock.

  • My clock lost blackBerry smartphones

I'm relatively new to the Blackberry Tour and today wanted to move my clock at a location more accessible and easier bedside mode.

I had clicked on "move" and began to scroll and the clock disappeared.  I have not clicked Delete, nor was I invited with a "are you sure you want to delete' popup.

I searched through all the records to see if it was put in a folder, but nothing helped.

How can I return my clock?

I REALLY appreciate all the support!

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

    1. on your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL, so that ALL DISPLAY is checked.
    2. look in EVERY folder on your device... Applications, instant messaging, downloads, etc.
If you don't see it still, look at the Options > advanced > Applications. Do you not see it listed there?

  • Clock of blackBerry Smartphones

Does anyone know how to stop 'the clock' fading out when the phone is not used. ? In other words, I want to be able to easily put the bedside mode, looking at my phone, and know what time it is.

I don't think that you can keep the screen like this, while not on the charger.  The backlight time-out period has a maximum setting of 2 minutes.  If there is a way, I don't know of it.

I am able to keep the screen active while on a charger.  I plugged my camera to the wall charger and the clock is displayed on the device.  I then click the menu button and choose the bedside mode.  The clock fades a little, but the screen does not turn off.  This is how you do it?  I have a 9350 and keys keyboard and menu go black after a few moments, but my screen remains dim.

  • New clock of blackBerry Smartphones

is it possible to get the new clock that comes on some of the newer models on my curve?

No, no, unless you purchase 3rd party

    This clock is integrated to 4.6 (8900curve, 9000bold) and 4.7 (9500/9530storm, 9630tour)

83xx curve series have 4.5 and probably the highest they will never go

  • Clock of blackBerry Smartphones and start date

the clock on the grayshade is on my home screen at the top of the phone. I have a way to change it to another place or to disappear or take the shade of gray because I want my wallpaper to show fully. Thanks for any help

So what clock symbol you show? The one above is the alarm.

Yes, you need a new theme, or you will need to design your own. I have seen one that has NOTHING on the home screen. Nada. I don't remember the name of it, I hated it. But one of the developers of the aura, you'll find it. Perhaps something named as 'White' or 'no '.

    You are welcome!

  • Icon clock missing BlackBerry Smartphones

Help, the clock icon is missing on the new phone. Cannot access clock when it is plugged in for charging.

Search in all the files (application, download, Configuration) and search for all the hidden icons (from your home screen press the Meny > SHOW ALL, SHOW EVERYTHING is checked and now look around.)

Cannot delete the icon so probably, that has not happened.

If still nothing, after the return.

    Hello

can someone help with this annoying problem... I'm the first to say that this is not critical, but it's a pain...

whenever I have activate the desktop software with the phone connected to the computer for synchronization or a backup that the phone internal clock resets to Greenwich mean time... I have to be very careful to reset the clock, or I'm as 07:30 hours late.

So, if anyone has had this problem and someone has a solution to this annoying reset of the clock?

    Thanks to all the suggestions.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones restart clock icon popping up and battery drain

My BOLD 9650 seems to be constantly rebooting. I'll see the clock icon running (same as on reboot) pop up randomly and the dough runs very quickly. This could be the cause and what can I do to prevent it. I'm on OS6.

    You may installed applications?

Back up and conduct security wipe. Does not restore your installed applications. See the following articles.

See if there still exists. Otherwise, let us know.

    Thank you.

  • Clock blackBerry Smartphones busy (e) in the middle of the screen, common solutions helps do not

I have a Blackberry Tour 9630 with the OS 5.0.0.591 and I still see a timer/clock occupied the middle of my screen. This is usually for a 10-15 sec and seems as if the BB is 'think '. I tried common solutions as the closing of applications with the command close to do a battery pull, etc. and continued to have this problem. Any suggestions?

If it helps, here is the third-party applications, I have installed. I put an asterisk beside those who need to stay open (or at least I think they must stay open?):

You store pictures on the BlackBerry smartphone or ON the Media Card?

Look at the Options > file free of charge. What is the number said out there?

Similarly, you don't think, you have a lot of applications running, but if you open the application switcher function, what is there?

Is the browser on a page?

Try opening the browser > options > Cache operations > clear the Cache.

Now, do a reboot: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Once the backup device, give him five minutes to calm down all activity data.

Now, let's see if you keep saw the hourglass lag?

  • Theme of blackBerry Smartphones has frozen my blackberry

I downloaded a theme on the morning of the bb app world now my phone is frozen. Its stuck on the main screen and it is locked. All buttons are inadmissible unless the caps lock, shift, and alt button. I tried removing the battery and putting it back on nothing has changed. It just says: initializing with a green circle, and that's it.

After downloading the theme, he asked if I wanted to apply, this small clock for the load came out. The phone took the time to apply so I went to remove the other themes to free memory to make it faster. After you remove the other theme, it got stuck on authentication for a long time, so I took out the battery. When you restart the bb the new theme has been applied, and now the phone is stuck on the main screen. Help, please!
