  • The sidebar clock went crazy

I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong Forum category or form, I'm new to this kind of thing and I did my best estimate.

I am running Vista Home Premium 64-bit with all Service Packs and updates current as of 13/09/09 and IE8 on a new (3 1/2 months), Dell Inspiron 530/531 (750 GB, 150 backup), 600 GB, 6 GB of memory, processor E7400 2.80 GHZ 2.80 GHz, Intel core duo processor 2 cpu.

My computer's clock is stable and precise.  In the last week and a half or two, (he is now 13/09/09), my Sidebar clock changed it's time of the clock of the computer from 3 to 8 hours, the hours of more further outside every day.  The minutes remain stable.

I am not computer savy but I poked around the clock via its 'tools' icon or right click of my mouse, without success, (right click only offered a time of computer clocks change).   I tried to get my Start button to "clocks" and "side bar clocks' does not.  I looked in 'control panel' and nothing useful that are there.  The Forum offered nothing about this particular problem, although I learned that many people had problems with the sidebar in general after installation of IE8.  The clock is the only part of the sidebar that I use, so I don't know if the other gadets are made.   I am at a loss to know what to do next. It's a minor problem but I love clocks and it's driving me crazy, I also wonder what remains is crazy who has not shown yet.  Perhaps one of the recent "Updates" is responsible?  Please help me.

The first option is probably the only one that works. For some reason gadgets sidebar have a rendering of wire run for the default ppp settings.

We can try the second option, that can work. Reach:
    1. go to the drivers & downloads section
    2. Enter your model number or serial number
    3. choose your OS version
    4. download the latest video driver from the list
    5. follow the instructions to install the update package
If you have any questions, you can come back here and ask or transfer any right to Dell.
    Hope this helps,
    Thank you!

    Mr. lonely

What you have given is not a valid time in Europe/London.

If I'm not wrong, for Day light saving in the specified time zone, DST started on Sunday, March 31, 2013 to 01:00 when local clocks went forward 1 hour.

If you try another date, the code works. Or if you try any time other than 01:00-01:59:59 - this is going to work...

Search for "dst in europe/london", you will get more details...

  • Clock and battery indicator went

Hey, I've finally updated to OS X El Capitan last night. Everything goes a lot overall, I love the new features and the whole system runs a lot faster. The only problem I have is that since I've updated the clock and battery indicator are no longer visible in the status bar at the top of my screen. Does anyone else have a similar issue or know how to recover? I'm running it on my early 2013 13 "Macbook Pro retina. Thank you

Note aside, is there a way to display images here? This is my first post so I am new on how it all works and I want to post a screenshot of what appears on the status bar.

You went in the preferences-> Energy Saver system and provided for the option to display the status of the battery is turned on?

Have you went into the preferences system-> Date time & -> clock and ensured that the option to display the date & time in the menu bar is turned on?

  • "Certificate expired" errors - my clock was bad, but it's fixed now, mistakes still happen

I recently reinstalled windows 8.1 and started from scratch with firefox. My clock of the computer somehow obtained a day before in the process, so all my browsers gave me errors. I fixed the date and all other browsers are fine, but Firefox still gives me "this connection is not approved - user certificate has expired" whenever it tries to load a site https (even google).

I tried to erase everything in Firefox, up to and including completely uninstall and reinstall and it is still giving me these errors, fresh out of the installer, with the time / the correct date on the clock. Help?

Edit to add: good... so I put my clock forward a new day, and the errors went away (for firefox, they returned in other browsers). And then I put it back again, and mistakes had disappeared, but only on sites that I visited while the clock was wrong. I guess that this imposes a kind of site by site reset or something? I still want to know what caused it, however, so I don't have to change the date of my computer whenever I visit a new https: site in firefox.

Edit 2: and... I have to go and do again for each site every time I close and re-open firefox.

If you haven't already done so, could you try to rename the Firefox certificate store file, cert8.db, so a new startup of Firefox? Here's how:

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various settings files.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • (menu bar) File > Exit

Break while Firefox finishing his cleaning, then rename cert8.db to something like cert8.old (Note: If your Windows does not display the .db extension, you can enable the display of file extensions using the steps described in this article: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wi.../show-hide-file-name-extensions)

Launch Firefox back up again. You can visit most normally secure sites?

  • Clock on Satellite M50D-A - 10 d never shows the correct time

All the time I have set the clock in, it always goes bad after a short time.
Even went into Bios and set the clock here very precisely, that it won't always.
It isn't easy because all the documents that I work for the school are badly dated, changes, do not get sorted correctly and so on...

What can I do to get the exact time? (and Yes, it is supposed to be set automatically by windows)

Return the laptop and the set?

    concerning

    Hugo

Could you please provide some essential info on the laptop model, the system and the version of the BIOS?
Is the laptop connected to the internet or you are working offline.

If the laptop is connected to internet, it synchronizes automatically time with server time of Windows and sometimes the clock doesn't see the good due to some problems.

Probably you have already tried to change the time manually by clicking the change data and time settings. Right?

Well, in the window of the Date and time you have 3 tabs. The last tab called time Internet provides sync settings. It displays information about the last synchronization and when happens the next synchronization. You will also see the server time is synchronized automatically. The current server should be time.windows.com.

To change the current server, click the Change settings button. Here you can choose the server. Click on move down and the list of servers.

When I changed to RAMto a new and restart a system, I was surprised the classification System went down from 7.6 to 7.4 could someone explain to me why this happened if the old RAM was unbraned in trouble from China? Why my new performance as Corsair is defined by the hardware to work on the low clock speed, also is there nothing in the BIOS to change the clock speed of RAm etc.

Could someone help me in this regard?

    Thank you

    Hello:

I can't tell you why the performance of WEI memory went down, but he certainly wouldn't.

The faster the memory will run in your computer laptop is 1333 MHz, because it is the fastest speed of the processor i7-2670QM FSB can run to, so installation PC3-12800 (1600) memory provides no advantage.

The original memory regardless who did, should have been 1333 MHz.

You need a PC with an Intel 7 series chipset and the 3rd generation of processor core to memory to operate at its rated 1600 MHz.

  • Lightning 30-pin adapter: it'll work on the Sony clock radio?

My 4th gen iPod touch battery is almost dead. It can't hold a charge for very long. It's too bad that I can't replace the battery.

My only option is to get a new one, I guess or plugged Dungeon that it connected to my Radio - alarm clock Sony until the battery is so bad that he can't even work with it.

I went to the store Apple Genius and none of the children he could tell me if the adapter brightening work audio playback when connected. There is a warning on the Apple site that work with the adapter not all connection devices 30 pins.  The other concern is that one of the applications is made by Sony and that allows me to control the settings of the clock radio as well.

Does anyone know if lightning 30-pin adapter works on these clocks?

Some docks work with the adopter and some do not.

Have you went to the Sony support site?

    Googling revealed:

    ple-iphone-and-ipod-dock-questions-answe http://reviews.BestBuy.com/answers/3545/product/9773885/Sony-clock-radio-with-AP...

    ANSWER 2

The ICFC05IPBLK is Compatible with iPod® touch, iPod Nano 3rd generation, iPod classic, iPod Nano 2nd generation, iPod 5th generation, iPod Nano 1st generation and 5th generation, iPod 4th generation, iPod mini. With regard to connections using the lightning of Apple 30-pin adapter / lightning 30-pin adapter (0.2 m): due to the instability of the connection of the models of iPod and iPhone to our speaker system using the lightning of Apple 30-pin adapter / lightning 30-pin adapter (0.2 m), there is a possibility that one or the two dock connectors may be damaged. Sony does not recommend using Apple Lightning 30-pin adapter / lightning 30-pin adapter (0.2 m) with the Sony speaker dock with connector 30 pins.

After the foregoing it seems the adopter functionally works but the adopter call will focus on the conn3ctors and damage it.

There is a to adopt with a cable and that should work and avoid this damage, but the iPod will be on the table at radio Vice

  • [FlexRIO] Start-up to synchronize several clocks sample

    Hello

I tried before, two different (SMU-7962R + OR-5734) FlexRIO card reading in the '40 MHz Onboard Clock' or 'PXI_Clk10' areas of clock. Trigger has been achieved by simply looking for a rising edge on PXI_Trig0:

This produces seeds, but there has no inclination (or constantly tilt at least) between the two FlexRIOs - I sent a pulse train duplicated in the two cards, and the triggered-acquired waveforms were still at the stage:

To avoid problems, I went to examples of clock (IO Module clock 0). Unfortunately, the clocks of the sample between the two FlexRIOs had nothing in common, so the acquired waveforms have been is out of phase. Worse still, the phase difference changes with each release:

Looking at the implementation of the library of the synchronization of the FIDL, the classic technique for synchronization of multiple cards FlexRIO seems to be built around synchronization master-slave (my observation is correct?). I was wondering: is there a way to simply share a sample clock shared between cards (like what the 40 MHz embedded clock was doing before), as described in http://www.ni.com/white-paper/11369/en/ ? (I think I understand the disadvantages associated with sample clock synchronization, but I'm willing to try for now).

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi JKSH,

Page 9 of the Manual 5734 described the different synchronized methods that can be used the 5734. You can synchronize either sample clock of each module to a clock available through your chassis backplane (for example, DStar_A) by allowing the IOModSynClk in 5734 properties (available the Details category) or use an external clock through the Clk port on the module. Activation of IOModSyncClk is probably the best approach and will lead by examples of clock on each module e/s being PLLed on the clock of the town - which must synchronize the clocks of the two sample together.

Let me know if you have follow-up questions.

    Kind regards

Do you know when this problem started?  Try a system restore to a point in time BEFORE the problem started.  Here is the procedure: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  Don't forget to check the box to show more than 5 days of restore points.  If the first attempt fails, then try an earlier point or two.  NOTE: You will need to re - install any software and updates that you have installed between now and the restore point, but you can use Windows Update for updates.  This should get back you to normal again.

If the system restore does not work (or even if it does) then note the update and its KB number and transfer your question in Forum Windows Update: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/threads where the people who specialize in Windows Update issues will be more than happy to help you issue and get this update installed without error.  Don't forget to explain what happened with system restore in your message there.

Although by default, the taskbar is displayed on the bottom of the screen,
It can be on any of the sides on what you prefer. To move any
side to side, simply click an unused portion and drag
where you want it. Don't forget to click inside it, not on the edge.
by clicking on the edge and dragging will resize not move.

Moreover, with the screen monitors wide today, I prefer the taskbar
on the left or the right of the screen. I think that allows a better
use of real estate than have it at the bottom of screen.

  • Clock is wrong, each reset jumps to an incorrect value

We are a charity running a hospital radio station. We have a couple of computers running Windows XP Pro SP3.

For some reason, the time is wrong. This isn't a matter of simple time zone where it is exactly an hour off - read more.
On a single machine, the time is out of 63 minutes, 29.4 seconds. Another is is only 10.3 seconds. But, we have "mission critical" application that requires time to be correct, such as the national news by satellite.
Each computer is running as an administrator, we have no reason to restrict users. If we go to the date and time settings, and set the time manually, it shows in time for a split second, then returns to the previous setting. If we use Windows when the same thing happens, he maintains for a brief flash and then shows the incorrect time again.
We tried to use Symmtime, an application that runs with happiness on the other PC that shows a digital clock and date, it updates via Internet and normally sets the clock to the right time - he does, for a second, then goes back again. Other computers on the same network, are not affected. Just those two. (Symmtime reports the value adjusted, which is where I took the exact amount of the error of)
Time Windows is disabled, it is not that anything that is set to zero. I went through the local security settings - local policies/user rights assignment/change time system - which now includes "Everyone" - but still will not allow the time to be changed. We have changed zone up and down then back to GMT
300022 KB suggested adding certain values, but is not clear - the values shown are spaces in names, only the registry keys. There is no information to tell if they are DWORD or anything, or what should be the value. After giving "everyone" access to change the time, I think that the article is redundant to our needs.
Our technology tells me that the CMOS battery has been changed, what could have been a cause of time running slow but blocks do not access to change the time. Even with a dead battery, you can start a PC and set the date and time manually.
The computers are connected to a working group, but not a domain, other computers in the same workgroup do not have the problem. DHCP is disabled, because we use the IP addresses defined on the network for purposes of port mapping.
A separate computer in another place has been recently overhauled because of problems she was having with the mutilated software. He was stripped to a disk drive formatted hard and installed fresh Windows XP Pro SP3. This PC also has the same issue and the clock is 9.2 seconds out. Again, we cannot redefine the time, he changes a fair return on its own initiative. It is not on the network as it is in another office of 14 miles away.
We tried stop W32Time process, even through a reset while he was arrested, but still can not change the time.
We really do not know what may be the problem and how to fix it-any ideas?

    SOLVED

This has driven us crazy for some time. Some of our PCs had the question, which excluded the many sources available such as a router or server time or something.
We finally found that the problem is a piece of software called PC Auto Shutdown of http://www.drivermagician.com/autoshutdown/
There is an option to check in here: ' prevent users change the time system.
Unchecking the box unchecked the problem for us. Something so simple, and yet has eluded us for months! No one knew that the option was there.
