• Problems with Clone Tool / Content Aware Scaling in CS4 Mac

  I use PS for about 1 year and a half.  Sort of an advanced beginner.  One of the things I like is the clone tool.  Since I upgraded to CS4 I had that problems with the clone tool.  When I go on an area it shows nothing and him either proceeds with adjustments after a significant delay or it goes black and then comes back with the adaptation.  Sometimes when I'm dragging the brush the whole picture is now replaced by a smear of the color noise.  It really makes the tool unusable.  In many cases, I went back to CS3.

  I also have similar problems with the scale content.  Never been able to make it work.  Basically, some of the best new features of CS4 are worthless for me.  Tried to watch the Adobe solution and search for forums but I didn't no exactly similar problem solutions.

  Any help appreciated.  I have a white 24' Mac Intel with a double frequency of 2.33 GHz Intel Core 2 with 3 GB of RAM.

  What you describe looks like a problem with the video card.

  You have successfully updated to 11.0.1?

  Have you tried to disable OpenGL drawing?

• Patch/heal/clone tools does not

  I got PS CC for a few weeks and now I'm running into a problem with the Patch, heal and clone tools.  When I started to use the program, the tools worked fine, but now they don't work at all.  For example, when I try to patch patch that I can select the area I want and I can move the mobile dashed to another area, but when I release the button nothing happens.  The selected area always has the same faults inside the moving dotted line.  This happens with all other tools.  I don't understand what happened.  I tried to reset the tool, but that did not help.  I use Windows 10.

  I am also having a problem with the RL does not.  I uninstalled and reinstalled, but it is still frozen and not responding do not.

  Can someone help me solve one or two of these issues.  I searched the web for several days without the chance or the other question.

  There are different ways to access patterns.  An easy way is to use the paint bucket and set it to the model in the Options bar and use the drop down menu to display the loaded models.  Then click the small sprocket and discover other model games.  You can also define your own templates and load sets of models from places like Deviant Art

  No, not normal. You must be able to see the viewfinder to control what you draw. It is fine on my MacBook of retina with the same upgrade.

• Spot healing & clone tool involved?

  I am using PSE 11 & am having a very basic problem with the editor.  I open a picture and see a small article that I want to delete & I just wanted to use the spot Healing Brush tool.  When I clicked on the area in question it is said to use alt-click to define area.  This seems to be what I had to do when I wanted to use the Clone tool.

  So I went to clone tool to see if I was right and it comes with brushes of different size.

  Anyone know what is happening?  It enable or disable an option in the settings that I should not have?

  For Spot Healing Brush Tool make sure you that your in Expert mode, click the icon in the Toolbox to the right of the red eye removal tool and by virtue improve.

  (you can also use the hotkey J)

  Then click on the tool Options and you can choose between the Spot Healing Brush Tool or Healing Brush tool.

• Brushes in the clone tool

  In items 1 I could get in shape and the hardness of the brush in the tool Clone.  3 items, I have only the menu presets for brushes, soft or hard.  (I have a good menu brush with the Healing Brush tool, but I have no opacity setting.))  Any ideas on how to change the hardness of the clone tool?  Thank you.

  There is not an option or area additional options with one so that isn't a problem.

  Have you checked to see if the shortcut works with another brush set. Try the default game is the game that I used to check it works in PSE 3. I use Windows, but I doubt that this shortcut or ability would be different using a Mac.

  Edit: This shortcut should is exactly the same on Mac that PC is not a difference in OS shortcut. Reference table below the link... page 2.

  It's on Page 2 of this ranking of shortcut. BTW, you click on the graph to make it disappear. I clicked on all around the graph before it dawned on me.

  If they don't work, try a reset of the tool. Right-click on the icon of clone in the options bar. It is first clone stamp icon on the left side of the options bar... it one that is colorful. Click on it and select "Reset Tool" from the list. Try the shortcut again and see if it works.

  First try the Reset tool button. If this doesn't work, sometimes problems happen for no apparent reason and that are caused by being corrupt preference files. To restore this file, press and hold Shift-Ctrl-Alt (Option-Command-Shift on Mac) immediately when you start PES. The timing is critical; You may need to try several times. A dialog box appears with the question "delete the settings of Adobe Photoshop elements file?" (or a similar message depending on your PSE version).  Click YES.

• removal, paint and clone tools no longer work

  I have photoshop cs3 running on windows xp.  removal, paint and clone tools do not work on any layer.  (other tools don't work. susch as red eye removal).  the layers are not locked.  I used these tools on many many occasions.  they just stop working.   I tried: resetting the preferences of the tool to their values by default, restarted my computer, restarted photoshop.  I hope I can avoid having to re - install cs3.  any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you, leonard.

  If you are usind a Wacom or other check the pen tablet is far frrom the Tablet when you use the mouse and vice versa.

  If the element is used is too narrow, it can interfere with the functions of the paint.

  Alternatively, you can confirm this by disconnecting the tablet to see if the problem goes away.

  given that Adobe support be contacted only during my hour of work (handy indeed ) I need expert help.

  Basically, I'm still new in photoshop and I use my tool clone for different things (remove glare and the frequency of separation mainly).

  A week ago, I used the clone tool and at the end of the process of separation of frequency, when I have to use the tool clone to readjust the tone of a part of the skin of my model, surprise: I have a bright orange instead... as an overlay.

  I checked the clone window and that the box was untucked, I lowered my opacity etc... It became less bright, but still orange...

  I can't edit one of my model skin and I have to prepare my wallet at the end of the month...

  Sagna can help me to restore my clone tool? PLEASE...

  The clone tool brush mode takes care to clarify or screen by accident?. It will probably disappear if you reset the brush by clicking the icon above clone and select the reset tool.

  The Clone Stamp tool is intended to be used to paint the parts of an image on one image (the same or another).

  To do this, a sampling point must be set for Photoshop 'know' what piece to be used and which is done with the Clone tool from the selected buffer, alt-click on the space provided.
