  Hi Sally,

  It is the wrong tool to use, but rather to use the clone stamp. Open the control panel in the Windows menu and you will see many options. One is to reverse the cloned area. Like this. Put the clone on its own layer like that allows you to better position and apply a layer mask to cover whatever it is unwittingly cloned. Cloning should be done with a soft brush at around 50% opacity just to enhance the effect. When you have finished giving the layer clone a soft Gaussian blur as this smooth out the look. Then flatten to restore

• Spot healing brush tool deselection when I uncheck

  I use Photoshop cc. I put my image in black and white and I use the spot Healing Brush tool to bring the colors in some of the photo. It was working fine yesterday, but today when I use the spot Healing Brush tool when I uncheck the mouse to change the size of the brush that it deselects everything I did. I'm sure this is a simple settings, but I can't understand it. Help, please

• Spot Healing Brush Tool works not

• Patch/heal/clone tools does not

  I got PS CC for a few weeks and now I'm running into a problem with the Patch, heal and clone tools.  When I started to use the program, the tools worked fine, but now they don't work at all.  For example, when I try to patch patch that I can select the area I want and I can move the mobile dashed to another area, but when I release the button nothing happens.  The selected area always has the same faults inside the moving dotted line.  This happens with all other tools.  I don't understand what happened.  I tried to reset the tool, but that did not help.  I use Windows 10.

  I am also having a problem with the RL does not.  I uninstalled and reinstalled, but it is still frozen and not responding do not.

  Can someone help me solve one or two of these issues.  I searched the web for several days without the chance or the other question.

  There are different ways to access patterns.  An easy way is to use the paint bucket and set it to the model in the Options bar and use the drop down menu to display the loaded models.  Then click the small sprocket and discover other model games.  You can also define your own templates and load sets of models from places like Deviant Art

  I suspect it has something to do with low memory.  However, I have 4 GB of RAM and am not under any other big program while doing the cloning/spotting.

  Even if I have to "give it a rest" this strange behaviour will continue.

  Hey guys

  I just bought a new computer and transferred to my photographer Adobe license to my new MacBook Pro 15. I downloaded the last person of the Lr or Ps CC 2015

  PS is a bit different, as it was on my old macbook.

  Where is the spot Healing Brush tool?

  And the crop tool?

  It's disconcerting. I looked everywhere in the software and google. Looks like I'm the only one!

  2015 new CC Photoshop, you can customize the toolbar Photoshop of depilation, consolidation and even delete tools. You can also save and share custom as predefined settings toolbar. Select Edition > toolbar.

  That's what you should see the tool options in photoshop cc 2015.1.2 with the Spot Healing Brush tool selected.

  

  Check in the photoshop Preferences > workspace and see if close Enable option bar is selected that has a different appearance of the symbols in the options toolbar.

  They could are passed under the edition toolbar option.

  Go to the Edit menu > toolbar > restore default values and then check out.

  The Healing Brush tool was supposedly introduced in Photoshop 7, the Spot Healing Brush tool in Photoshop CS2:

  They should share their place in the Toolbox with the patch tool and the red eye tool.

  Try to hit J (or SHIFT - J, depending on your preferences settings) to switch the selected tool.

• 3.6 spot healing Lightroom crashes, not showing do not set points

  I waited months to update to 3.6 because I finally got Lightroom works fine on my machine. Earlier versions would hang on the spot on the sharp heal tool I have to close it using the Task Manager. The problem comes when I edited a file in an external editor and I'm working on the tif file that was imported into Lightroom. The just spot Healing Brush tool will not work. This continues to happen even when I close Lightroom and return to the file later. This me really bums as it overwrites just my workflow!

  I also have a new problem. It could be that I touched something somewhere to cause the following behavior. When I work on an image with the adjustment brush, the set point disappears. It appears so if I want to change the brush settings the point are there not to click on an active brand, so I can adjust the settings again. It started just because I upgraded to 3.6. I think I was using 3.4 before and I've never had this problem.

  There is a bug in Windows that will cause LR to hang when you move the circle 'source' (at least some) JPEG files. It can so happen with TIFF. Lightroom will lock tight for a period of time in seconds to several minutes.

  To work around the problem, you can set the processor affinity for Lightroom to use only a single core. Under windows, bring up the Windows Task Manager, go to the process tab, right-click on the process of Lightroom and choose Set Affinity... Disable everything except a processor.

  This bug will be fixed in LR 4, of course.

  I used CS4 for over a year with no problems

  The spot Healing Brush tool (which I use a lot to remove the XY scatter on u/w photo) sometiems acted strangely on occasion (healing in the wrong place, causing a change in line across the image), but with the story that I could come back and do it again.

  However it has now stopped working (or if she don't fainly so do not have effect)

  I reinstalled CS4 and all updates but this spot corrector does not always work and install it on the laptop and used the same settinmgs (where he works)

  Has anyone else had this, and even better had someone else has solved?

  Try to reset the tool from the drop (as in this example for the text tool).
