Close the program to prevent the loss of information

I use a computer with the configuration of intel (R) core (TM) i7-3770 cpu @ 3.40 GHz, 3.40 GHz, 8 GB of RAM with the 64-bit, (processor 64-bit cross) operating system and I use Matlab 64 bit R2011b. After 4 hours, the error came... Close the program to prevent the loss of information. Your computer is running memory, save your files and close these Matlab (R2011b) program. The result of the command is windows will close only enough programs to restore needed memory. So please give some suggestions to solve the problem.

    Hello

I keep getting the following error message, and leterally having my computer off over and over again, even if I added 1 GB of RAM (now 3 total RAM) mor and also added a 8 GB SD card as more power:

Close programs to prevent the loss of information.  Your computer is low on memory.  You save files and close programs.  Java (TM) Platform SE binary Windows Media Player

I did research on the various search engines to know that many face the same problem, with a variety of possible solutions, but so far, none work.  We suggest that I go to Regedit and change the permissions of the user and then delete the old files, after I import them.

Needless to say, I am just a user and have just a bit of technical knowledge.  The local PC repair shop in my town has no idea what to do.  For anyone who has a solution to this problem, help will be greatly appreciated!

First of all, unless you know EXACTLY what you do and WHY you do it. I personally recommend never do anything in regedit. I consider myself a moderate to advanced computer user and a moderate user of windows. And I always stay away from regedit, if I can, because you can seriously screw things if you don't know what you're doing... Although, to be honest most of the settings will not have a devastating drama.

It seems to me that this is a memory leak in the program, you will get this error message to make sure that your computer will just crash, because if she is running out of RAM... Well it will crash.

If you have a 2 and a 1 GB for a total of 3 GB, I recommend the upgrade once more and just round up to a nice 4 (this is the most of memory a 32-bit system can handle in total)

Works of memory in a way that you see really only a few performance jump with memory dual channel, the only way to have that is really striking the rods of same in each slot.

There isn't really a reason that this happens every time, except that simply your computer is low on MEMORY, when your computer says this means RAM, not disk memory storage area.

If you clean your computer of the programs you never use and stop using windows media player (itunes is better in my opinion, even if you don't have an ipod), you can see an improvement, but to really isolate the problem, I recommend simply opening your task manager as soon as you start your computer (ctrl + alt + delete usually gives you the option or it opens directly) otherwise you can do start-> RUN taskmgr.exe , OR type taskmgr.exe in the search box and press on enter.

Then, look at the column of memory as I said it sounds like a program has a leak, and you will see that is because memory will begin at low/normal and then numbers just keep climbing...

Also, make sure that your computer recognizes all 3 GB or RAM. in Task Manager if you have access to the performance tab, under physical memory must be a thing called Total, 3 GB = 3074. If this is not an option in your reason, you can go under Accessories/System Tools system information (on the start menu). (may take a while to load) but on the home page, you should see something that indicates the amount of TOTAL PHYSICAL MEMORY. You want to read this / 3GB or 3074 MB.

    Hope this helps some!

I recommend to remove all programs, you are ready to, especially those that you never use. Do a complete uninstall. Then start installing windows clean (download google) just to make sure that the program has been removed. then go start--> run msconfig OR just type msconfig in the search and click on go (I don't know if you're running XP or Vista/7)

In the msconfig dialog, you should see a section that says startup. Don't forget to remove programs that you do not first. Disable startup programs, you use every DAY. Don't go turn off all if windows needs some process to run, and some processes don't effect anything. But if you're curious, you should be able to google all of startup items and see what it's related to and why you do or that you don't need.

Good luck! Sorry, I'm everywhere with this response.

  • Close the programs little memory to avoid the loss of information

It's a well known problem that Vista/W7 x 64 fixed at 20% memory low threshold. Most often you will encounter it is you have disabled the pagefile or sensitive value fixed size as 1 GB. Don ' t bother telling me I should leave W7 set by itself, when some bloatware (firefox!) takes up several gigabytes of RAM, things will be sloooow dooooownn if you have unlimited Exchange... Pagefile of 1 GB is already pushing it.

The threshold of warn is fine with 1 GB of memory (200 MB warn limit) but with 8 GB (2 GB warn limit), it is not. As far as I know, it is not possible to adjust the threshold, you can only disable it entirely.

    Now the question is: are there at - it a utility that would do the same job, that is to say to warn me on<512MB free="" memory="" so="" i="" know="" it's="" time="" to="" save="" my="" game="" and="" kill="" bloatfox?="" basically="" i="" want="" the="" same="" nag-screen="" but="" with="" a="" sensible="" threshold.="" if="" you="" run="" out="" of="" memory="" for="" good,="" things="" go="">

It's a perfectly valid question and who should be able to settle with windows tools.
I guess I should have written this to technet, seems to be a too technical issue.

I did some research and it is possible to monitor the status of the free memory through performance monitor. So far so good. Only problem, is that the performance monitor alerts won't let you run processes, only create entries in the system log and perform WMI tasks. As far as I know, no WMI task only allows you to create a simple message box.

Now, I could of course write a journal entry and watching with Task Scheduler, but it seems unlikely that such a task fundamental administratory doesn't have a tool for this.

I found another treat in performance monitor documentation comments. Namely:

    > This formulation "has chosen a WMI task...". "is misleading. You just create a new scheduled >(using Task Scheduler) task to do what you want when the alert is triggered. Then, add the exact > scheduled task name in the "run this task when an alert is device:" field. Start the data > set of collectors and the task must begin when the aletrt criteria are met.

    Hi rozhanna,

Try the steps mentioned in the link below and check if it works.

It is also possible that some third party software installed on the computer are in conflict with the video call in Skype software.
You can check if it works very well in a clean boot state.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
Click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click continue.
On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
When you are prompted to restart the computer, click restart.

If the previous step fails, you can try posting your question in the forums of Skype and check.

    Hi a. Cook,

    (1) how long have you been faced with this problem?

    (2) is limited to any specific USB device?

This problem may occur if there are handles open with all the files in the USB (Universal Serial Bus) mass storage device are in use by another program.

    Method 1:

    (a) Download Process Explorer from the link below

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/Sysinternals/bb896653

    (b) click on search, find handle or DLL (Dynamic Link Library) in the tool menu.

    (c) type the drive letter of the USB device in the handle or DLL substring text box and press the search button.

    (d) find the process and its PID (process identifier) in the following box.

    (e) with a view to the processes of the system tree, look for the process according to the dialog box find handle or DLL.

    (f) press Ctrl + H to display the handles in the view in the lower pane.

    (g) find the file according to the drive letter and right click, choose Manage close.

I have Safari 9.1, El Capitan. The changes I make in the Safari preferences are not saved after that I close the program. There is no such thing as a Library/Preferences/Safari. What should do?

I think you're looking in the root folder not your home folder.   Tilde ~ in front of the first slash indicates the folder.

    Try this...

    Quit Safari.

Open a Finder window. In the Finder menu bar, click go > go to folder

Type or copy paste the following text:

    ~/Library/preferences/com. Apple.Safari.plist

Click OK, and then move the com.apple.Safari.plist file to the trash.

    Restart Safari to test.

Just as I said, when I close my Internet explore the page looks as it melts down.

When I close the Office computer looks like it is melting.

What are the causes and how can I fix what is wrong

I ran mcafee and malware programs.

    I have compaq presario v5000

    Windows xp

    32 bit

    do not add ons running.

I don't see how someone can offer you promising ideas knowing more about your system.  The best you can get is speculation on what might work sometimes maybe. All we seem to know is what sort of a Presario V5000 with XP (there are a lot of different V5000s).

It worked better in Mode safe or clean boot?  Even if it did, this does not your problem, unless you want to run mode without failure or boot for the rest of your life.

If you restored to the factory settings in the past, then you have all your video drivers updated?  Chances are good that everything that comes out of the plant is outdated when it leaves the factory.

If I were you, I would first take a look at your specifications and make sure that your video drivers are up to date.

Should be considered ditching of McAfee (since it's a famous memory and CPU hog) and replace it with something with a smaller footprint like Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE).  You can simply use the McAfee uninstaller install temporarily and see how things work... you can always reinstall later if you are forced to do it, right?  (but I wouldn't).

If you still have the problem after all and the verification of your video drivers, check the properties of your system performance (especially the Visual effects) Options.

Why don't you do this so that we can see what you have:

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    Msinfo32

Click OK, and when the system info summary appears, click on edit, select all (Ctrl-A), copy (Ctrl-C) and paste (Ctrl-V) the information back here in your next reply.

For video device and driver information, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here.

There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information.

This will minimize back Q & A and eliminate guesswork.

I think that somewhere, paint is watered - I can download and reinstall?

    Hi ebjeebee,

This problem can occur for the following reasons:

    • If the bitmap file is a compressed format that Paint cannot read. For example, paint does not support CVID compressed bitmap files. If you try to open such a file in Paint, the above error message occurs.
    • If the default image for the paint attributes are too large. This setting depends on the memory and disk space.
To resolve this issue, use the appropriate method:
    • If you receive the error message above when opening a bitmap in Microsoft Paint, the only resolution at this time is to open the bitmap file in another program.
    • If you receive the error message above when opening Microsoft Paint, follow these steps to fix it:

    a. open an existing bitmap.

    b. in the Image menu, click attributes.

    c. click on default and then click OK.

    d. on the file menu, click Save as and save the bitmap with a new name.

    e. close and restart Paint.
