  I looked at my list of assets within the Muse - nothing is marked not linked.

  I tried to upload my site many times... within the Muse and with FileZilla.

  It seemed to me the solution.

  When I export the files, I simply left Muse overwrite the files in the destination folder. The files may not overeritten correctly.

  Manually, I went into this folder destination and destroyed all the old files exported.

  I then re-exported the files and then uploaded. All workes from there.

  Check if you have full permissions in the folder and also owner if necessary. Move the folder to your desktop.  Right-click on the folder, and then click Properties, click the Security tab.  Add your username in their own right.  Click Advanced and add your username in its own right to the section of special permissions.  And then click the property tab and make you the owner.  In all three cases, remember to check the box to apply it to all files and subdirectories.  That should give you the permission to delete the file.  If this is not the case, check all the tabs property, including safety to check that nothing is checked to refuse the removal.  The following should help you with this:

  Thanks for the reply. Before I check for any response, I used ubuntu live cd to remove the offending unscrupulously folder.

  I really don't think it's anything to do with my windows account (although I didn't try the solution you suggested).

  Do right click on 'My Computer'-> click on Hardware-> click "devicemanager"-> go into "diskdrives"-> then you need to click on the drive that is your USB - HDD-> with the right button and then click on 'Properties'-> in the menu properties of this drive, you must go on "policies" and click on "optimize for quick removal"-> and then click OK and exit this menu and all-> perform a reboot-> closing information fact. :)
