Closed captioning feature in first Pro CS3?

Hello again everyone!

I am new to the arena of captioning and I evaluate my options for received my clips. I work with CS3 Pro, but I'm not familiar with all the software in the bundle. Is there something specific for this?

Thank you very much for your help!

-Christian

There is no Adobe CC functionality.  You will probably need to add this after using other software.

Still is capable of DVD subtitles, but it's something different technologically than subtitling.

    Hello

I just bought a Canon 60 d camera and I'm using adobe first pro cs3 for the first time.

I tried to import my Canon 60 d MOV file footages, but it says that my files are not supported.

I don't know what to do!

    Can someone help me?

    Thank you.

    Welcome to the forum.

Full HD H.264 in a file format MOV of DSLRS is beyond the capabilities of CS3.

    I recommend using

Square 5 - MPEG Streamclip video converter for Mac and Windows

to convert the video to a lossless codec lossless as Avid DNxHD or Apple Photo-JPEG (75% quality value) nearby.  See if the converted files import and edit properly in CS3.

  • How can smartsounds and Sonic Pro 5 in first Pro CS3?

I used way back smartsounds in first Adobe 6.0 when it comes with Adobe. It was the lap of bees for the addition of noise.

It has not been incorporated by Adobe in versions of CS and now I tried Sonic Pro 5 with CS3 and found that although it recognizes clips in any project he falls wrong just when it is needed.  I mean if we then assembles the individual elements in a timeline and then save this chronology that Sonic Pro is not the calendar as there doesn't seem to be able to support the calendar format.

    Therefore, I have 3 problems: -.

    1. how can you import a timeline into Sonic Pro so you can use the process of smartsound?

    2. I have the expressways of Smartsound for Adobe Premier 6.0 and Sonic Pro cannot recognize these entirely so the feature in Sonic Pro can not be used.  Is there a way to turn it?

    3. I own a library of copyright free music that is not part of the range of smartsound.  Is it possible to use this music in Sonic Pro or it works with their titles?

Sonic Pro and Smartsounds information is welcome.

    Barry,

If the idea is to create familiar the exact length of your timeline first what I did is:

1, open the Sonic Fire Pro 5 and Premiere CS3 files.

    2. in the first, select the sequence you want to create the music and the ILT at the end of the ending sequence.

    3. then click on the blue numbers on the top left of the window of the sequence.  Right-click on the number, and then select COPY.

    4. then go to Sonic FP5 and in the Express Lane window, select your music.

    5. then in the area of 'Length' clear the number it and right click and paste the first number.

    6. then click on Options and select the sound track of the export.

    7. you select some audio file named naturally in your overall project for the destination and then return to the first and import the audio into your open project, and then drag the track down to your sequence.

In this way, you don't have to create a "proxy" track for import into Sonic.

    Just a thought.

  • First pro CS3 - bug image

    Hi all!

I am a very novice than anything else, and I have a little problem which I could not find any effective help on any problem-solution of adobe literature first pro.

I'm just a very basic editing of 4 or 5 scenes, and between these scenes that I insert a picture (in JPEG format) which last around a second and occupy the entire screen during the appearance. I have attached the image fast music I make appear and disappear with the image. The music is from a music video (.avi), so I simply keep the music and remove the attached video.

so, basically, [PLACES] [FAST FULL SCREEN IMAGE WITH MUSIC] [SCENE [NEXT]

So I did everything and everything works fine when I play it in Premiere pro. Then I export the movie in .avi. For the first time I play independently of Adobe premiere, everything works.

But then, after a period of time longer the same .avi video has changed (and I tested it several times). Between scenes, play the music but the image with that I set no longer appears, and it is just replaced with a picture to the last frame of the previous scene or the first of the next scene. It's just that the good condition of the Assembly has an expiration once exported.

So basically, I'm an image, by inserting into mounting (for a very short time) disappear after a certain time in the exported .avi

What is the problem? I make all of the above...

I never heard talk of an exported file AV change over time. If it works for export, unless the data gets changed, it will work forever. My first guess would be the players used. The 1 and 0 decay over time, not like the film or videotape.

Now, back to the PrPro project, are the pixel x pixel of these JPEG dimensions?

What is the project / s sequence image size?

Exactly what are the parameters used for export?

    Good luck

  • Several Newbie Questions on first Pro CS3

Hello all, first post here and first, I'm trying my hand at video editing.

Just a few questions to help me get started if you don't mind.

1.) how can I get rid of the black box that appears around all my videos? He appears in the sequence 01 video feed and exports video looking the same way. I'm doing something wrong in my video settings?

2.) I was able to import audio data only with .wmv as my source file successfully. What should I do if I want to import audio data from another format (.avi)? or only CS3 does not support audio in some formats? (I already discovered that I need to convert to .mp3)

That's all for the moment, you all seem to have here a useful site that I look forward to more use in the future (if all goes well I can help you more than ask, but it is a program COMPLEX lol)

    Welcome to the forum.

(1.) be sure that your project Preset corresponds exactly to your video footage. Now, this isn't - that's why the black bars.

2.), it's easier to work with the audio part of a multiplex file. Some AV multiplexed files are OK in PrPro, but some give problems. I would like to use Soundbooth to "rip" Audio from these files AV. I think she does. I use hearing and it is perfect to tear.

    Good luck

  • JVC GY-HM100U +. MOV + first Pro CS3 = "Codec missing or unavailable?

Is it possible to film in quicktime on the JVC GY-HM100U mode and change the files in Premiere CS3 for PC?  If so, how?

I get the message "Codec missing or unavailable.

Thank you very much for your help!

I think that the camera records for XDCAM EX (which is MPEG-2). Usually, XDCAM EX is contained in a file MP4 and CS3 (version 3.2.0) and up have support for this. However, the MOV wrapper is not supported with this codec, probably even if the codec and format is. Check out this post and the next for additional information and a solution.

  • Import of video files in Adobe Premiere Pro CS3

I have a Sony Handycam DCR-SX63.  When I import movies on my PC (Vista), I took, they are. MPG files.  When I import these files in first Pro CS3 the video portion is important but the audio of this file does not work.  I read everything I can find and nothing seems to answer my question directly.  I tried an encoder to see if perhaps first does not accept. • Best Configuration for running adobe Premiere Pro CS3

I have a 4 HARD disk system and the ability to run RAID.  What is the best configuration to run Adobe first pro CS3.  I want to be able to get the best performance out of my system.

I wouldn't do 1 or 2 even if it is possible.

3 won't be necessary if you use uncompressed images.  With any standard camera format, a single modern drive will be more quickly, even for multiple streams of data.

Work terribly hard to get a RAID 0 array there somewhere, but man, it is really not necessary in most cases and may even be a bad idea for a good number of cases.

  • First Pro CC incorporates no 708 captions in QT

Despite the fact that all online videos to believe that export of embedded subtitles is child's play, it is not. After much experimentation, I discovered there is no way to export 708 captions embedded in a QT file. I worked with captions closed for a long time, and I am very familiar with the various traps of captioning. Why Adobe would have chosen to incorporate 608 captions only in a HD file is beyond me. To be excluded by the broadcasters captions should be VAN 708 captions with the 608 alternative. Every time I get a file out of MACCaption is what is included. I tried to import these files in first pro CC and he does not see the legends.

I tried to create the file as a .mcc, and it seems to be OK. There is unfortunately no way to integrate this into a QT file.

    Kevin

You are right that 708 captions cannot be incorporated into QuickTime files; they can be incorporated into the outputs of MXF OP1a or written of sidecars. It is covered, albeit indirectly, at the bottom of this help page.

Support for closed captioning is a work-in-progress. CC7.0 has provided support for CEA-608 and Teletext; the CEA-708 support was added in 7.1 or 7.0.1. Of course, 'support' is a loose concept, and it remains to be done on specific aspects of exactly, which can be imported, how legends can be exported and workflows to edit the captions in a project. You can help us set priorities by submitting feature requests on what you think are the greatest needs.

    Hello

    Hello

    I work on first pro 2015 cc.3

I added sub titles on my video.

I put some money down en title centered to the screen with the help of the box with 9 automatic positions.

At the beginning it works and when I save and reopen the file, the sub titles have moved and are are shifted. Some of the text is even outside the screen.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello

I got the solution. It is resolution safe or secure portal.

I put the solution if anyone ever need.

Your captions or subtitles may not exceed your security door or gate ground track. You need to reduce the font size or move to another line to shorten. Because first changes automatically position if it s more limit.

However, if you want to be on these limits (ground/door chest) you can set with the scale and the effect of the track position.

Hello again I found the solution.

Solution alone, I share you although I think qe I must be the only jerk for not thinking about it.

The problem comes from the ground and safe door car first pro will automatically substitute the captioning at best pour in stay standards.

    Possible solutions

-in the absence of strike reduced the size of the

    -make line breaks.

-Play with the scale effect parameters and positions of the captioning.

  • Captioning first Pro CC

Is there a way to include subtitles in a video file MPEG 2 natively in Premiere Pro or do you need a third-party service for whom? If it's a third-party thing, can you recommend a service to achieve this?

Lol first Pro CC supports the incorporation of QuickTime and MXF. I'm not familiar with the third-party tools that integrate captions in MPEG2.

  • Which cameras are compatible with the capture feature in adobe first pro?

My son made videos of stop motion and wants to be able to use the capture feature on adobe first pro where you connect your camera via USB and can capture images on your computer through your camera. I am looking to buy him a camera and trying to find a list of digital cameras are compatible with this feature, it now has a small camera fuji who will not let him do.

What other users have said is correct. First capture via FireWire or SDI/HDMI through a solution of part 3.

For your situation, I would say the better is to connect the device to your computer via USB or use a card reader and copy the directory on your hard drive and interfere in first via media browser.
