  Hi all

  We use NAC OOB, L3, gateway real IP with AD - SSO. When users connect to the computer, the PC is supposed to change the IP address after the authentication with the windows user account. But based on security policy, users cannot change the IP address, in order to change the IP address will be failed. There is no work around for this issue? should we change our security policy and allow users to have right to change IP address?

  in this case, what security in GPO to change to give them permission to do "ipconfig / renew" purchase order?

  You must install the heel first with admin rights. Then once that the user connects with its own rights (not administrator) and he needs to do anything administratively (like change the IP address), the agent asks the stub to do and it works.

  All, I have 2 1131 that do not work correctly. The only problem I have is that we changed our scheme of IP and the AGP have static IP. Therefore we cannot identify with them. Once I console in, what are the steps to change the IP address so that we can manage devices using the web interface? Will also be this result in a service interruption?

  Once you console in just go to activate the mode, and then go into \windows\system32\conifg\system mode and change the address of the BVI interface:

  AP > en

  config t AP #.

  interface AP (config) # BVI1

  AP(Config-if) # x.x.x.x 255.255.255.0 ip address

  Don't forget to change the gateway by default also.

  Can I set up a cloud Incident control waiting, maybe 10 seconds, before rule of triggereing a connection failure / inaccessible? We sometimes have errors of transient connection to monitored hosts, and I get inaccessible agent and other errors, which are erased a few seconds later. I therefore really Cloud Control to pause and try again before you trigger the rule.

  There is probably a way to run an external script, but if it is possible to do with CC, it would be preferable.

  In MS 12 c, you create a rule to send a notification and/or to create an incident once opened an event for a specified period of incident. See this blog for an example.

  I hope someone can help me with this. We have installed Cloud control 12 c em and its agents on various machines.

  First, we conducted with the target part two nodes of a network Infra cluster (let's call it proclu_1). Operating system is RH6.

  Then, using the same method (1 / y yum install /tmp/oracle-agt-12.1.0.3.0-1.0.x86_64.rpm then)

  2 / /etc/init.d/oracle-agt RESPONSE_FILE=/usr/lib/oracle/agent/agent.properties) we have installed the agent on the other 2

  blades that are part of another cluster (proclu_2). The agent.properties file that precedes contained only the usual key-value lines:

  Now, if I change to the/usr/lib/oracle/agent dir and search for the name "proclu *" from there, I found the name of the

  Unfortunately, this goes back to the RAC install procedures.   Check the name of the cluster for each cluster.   If they are all the same, installed, then you will need to manually discover/change name when you promote so that your clusters are unique in EM.

  To verify the name together for clusterware installation:

  A project to migrate our RMAN recovery catalog (11.2.0.3 database) to the CAR, I need to update the Manager of the company with the new catalog of recovery settings. So far I couldn't find how to change it for each database individually, which will be your time to 40 + databases! I found this doc metalink [Doc ID 840051.1] on how to do it in the EM grid control, but don't find anything on how to do this for Cloud control 12 c.

  Does anyone know how to do this? Pointers would be much appreciated.

  I installed EM12c on Linux64 and now I'm running out of luck. :)
  
  I'm me got stuck when the manual target deployment. I want to deploy the agent from my server Linux CC12c to HP - UX Itanium servers, where we have production db.
  I managed to download HP - UX agents, but the deployment will fail.
  I get an error
  The shell path is invalid or not set. : / usr/local/bin/bash (SH_PATH),-c (SH_ARGS) on host XXX. Check the property values in the following files in that order, the ssPaths_ < dish > .properties or the sPaths.properties or the Paths.properties, in ' / oracle/em12c/who/Yes/Prov./resources "directory. For more details, see the Setup Guide base Oracle Enterprise Manager.
  
  When I took a glance at /oracle/em12c/oms/oui/prov/resources/ssPaths_hpi.properties (I hope this is the right configuration for HP - UX file) I discovered that I have not SH_PATH = / usr/local/bin/bash is installed on the target server.
  
  So the question is: can I change this variable to any other shell?
  I'm usually using/bin/sh, and bash shell installed cannot be found.

  Second problem I have is with automatic detection of target. When I run Assistant auto-discovery using agent on the CC12c Server I get an error:

  Then of course, there is a problem with some libraries on my Linux server so that it cannot run nmap. Should what package?

  On your other question: deploy agent manually, you must get the agent console update binary usings elf em12c.   I noticed recently that my IP range internal from 192.168.1. * to 10.0.1 on its own. I think I got the router configured to auto update to new firmware, so I think that it updated itself and change its settings. When I try to access the admin page that nothing loads. I tried 10.0.1.1 and 192.168.1.1 and nothing comes up. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem recently. I will be eventually provided to the factory settings and set it back up like that, but I'm hoping to exhaust my options before you go this route. Any ideas?

  I was able to determine the cause. He I warned when you say IP changes when there is a second device with DHCP. I noticed there was some new computers on my network when I watched the network file share. I use the Netgear Powerline device to do wired connections to my living room. What I think has happened is that my recently developed neighbouring apartment unit in place the internet and also uses a feature of current line. I noticed that my DNS suffix changed to a different address, which is the ISP instead of my router. I put 2 and 2 together and realized that my network was overlaps sound via the Powerline. I have never set up an encryption key on the Powerline online so it was still using the default settings and connecting to my neighbors by current carrier. When I added the encryption key, the problem disappeared and my network returned to normal. Next time I should follow the instructions when setting up new network equipment. Oops

  So many entries of URL blocker, Adobe, this is the reason why you are unable to activate the CC apps.

  Follow the procedure below:

  • Remove all entries that has name of adobe. Then close the Textedit, it will Autosave.
  • Make sure that there is no entry of Adobe on the inside.
  • Then copy and paste the Hosts file in folder etc.
  • We replace the modified hosts file that we had copied on the desktop with the original Hosts file inside the folder etc.
  • When you are prompted, the authentication by password Mac,
  • Be sure to select the option Replace ...
  • Once you have replaced the Hosts file, double click on it again and check if the Hosts file is free of Adobe entries.
