Cluster of Freeway with deployment of FW DMZ port 3

Hello

We currently have one Highway C & E with E deployed behind an ASA according to 3-Port FW DMZ with only VCS Expressway Interface LAN (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/unified-communications/express...), so the E has a DMZ IP address and uses only one LAN port.

We must deploy a new pair of C & E as a cluster for resilience.

My question is if the cluster can be configured using the IP of the LAN 1 DMZ address unique or if we must activate the LAN2 and connect within the network for cluster communication. It's a deployment of layer 2, so if it takes a second connection the E could have an IP address for clustering on the same VLAN as the primary.

For Expressway-e: Yes, you must enable the LAN 2 interface. You will also need to make LAN 2 your address to the public since only LAN 1 can be used for clustering. LAN 1 cannot have NAT enabled on it when there's a cluster. It is documented in Creating Cluster Cisco Expressway and Maintenance Deployment Guide (page 9). Don't forget that this LAN 1 and LAN 2 should be in separate subnets, you can not create just a second host IPv4 address in your existing DMZ subnet.

    The issue you are experiencing is a known limit of Jabber of telepresence. This happens when registration of the device is transmitted by proxy to the VCS control, where VCS are clusters. Probably what is happening:

    -Jabber client records through the fast track to a control in the area of the highway crossing.

    -L' check requires authentication

    -When the customer registers again every minute (registration of SIP (re) process normal), the registration request is sent to one of the other controls in the cluster.

    -The customer then completes the current record and authenticates back to the other control

    -The client (Jabber) will tear down the ongoing call when there is re - authenticate registration

    This problem is resolved in the current version for Jabber for iPad. The current version of Jabber for TelePresence still has this problem. Default: CSCud17952

  • Hyperion Planning error - 'Out of Sync with deployment. "

    I'm trying to deploy the application, I created in Hyperion planning 11.1.2.1. When I click in deploying, I get the message, "Out of sync with deployment."

    In the window of console work, the State is displayed as "completed with errors. I tried to click the MESSAGES link under attachments to check for errors. But the window opens and closes immediately.

    Can someone please tell me where I can find the error logs.

    In addition, no idea why I'm having this error. I've validated the dimensions and has not encountered any errors.

  • 'Web Deployment agent service' using port 80.

    Hello community,

    After I uninstalled ampps (alternative to Xampp) and re installed, I get a message that port 80 is used by another application.
    I discovered in "Windows Task Manager" than (NT Kernel & System) was the culprit. After Googling further concluded that "Web deployment agent service" use port 80.

    C:\Program Files\IIS\Microsoft Web Deploy\MsDepSvc.exe' - runService: MsDepSvc

    What I've done so far was out of "MsDepSvc.exe" by spacing it epSvc.exe MsD.

    I want to know is why IIS start using port 80. Because ampps do not complain about it before!

    And what is the solution. How can I change the port for IIS?

    I'm sure that it is correct. Unless I'm missing something, vCenter Server is just another virtual machine running on the cluster VSA VSA does not require vCenter Server to run.

  • merge with deployed FireFox favorite silently

    Hi all
    I am trying to create a deployment for FireFox on our network of company (always under XP).
    {There is the problem that I have, / a lot of people who already have a manually installed installed FF version and I need to create a deployment that "takes over" the current installation, including all the settings for the %userprofile%\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\{FF.profile}.
    Located in this path is the file places.sqlite to bookmarks. If I were to create a full copy on / editing of the %ProgramFiles%\Mozilla Firefox and the location of the profile above, would give a nice clean install of SOE, he would write more than the currently marked with a bookmark URL.
    Part of the deployment, asked me to provide 6 URL in bookmarks.

    Here's the tricky question (Google failed me on this one here), how can I inject 6 URL (preferably at the top of the bookmarks) in the deployment of FF without wiping the current bookmarks belonging to the user and still 'clean' installation completely silently?

    is it possible to list them in mozilla.cfg, prefs.js or something for the injection to the deployment?

    right - it sounds like this cannot be done using a feature of Mozilla. I had to write a script for (on screen) buttons to open the library, import the bookmarks to the server (env var) file type and location of the file.
    I have written in Autoit 3.3.8.1. I won't post here, because of our policy work, it was developed in the time of work, it is up to the job.
    The script is close to 180 lines, took me about a week to write (not a very experienced scripter) with full error checking and window existence of. However, with the way some of the FF Windows are written, there is no element of control to identify and use some windows and buttons.

  • Problems with deployment of network shared on windows PC when installing INSTALLER variables

    I'm using LabVIEW 2014 on Windows 7. I have a project that is developed to be a client GUI (192.168.1.208). The GUI communicates with an application of RT (192.168.1.206) running on LV RT OS and both are connected to a network. The NSV (shared network variables) are housed next to the RT (SVs is on RT/demand side project). This part (communication and everything) works very well.

    Now another part is recording data. Why NSV (hosted in the GUI project) are used for strings of communincate (events with the data) to a computer running the registration of data on this PC (192.168.1.208) server. Please note here, currently same PC (192.168.1.208) was used for recording the data server implementation, but later, there may be a new PC that's why NSV is used. I gave this information in case there may be no problem (chances are though).

    I created an application (*.exe) and the project GUI installation program. Saving data to the PC (192.168.1.208) if I use one of the options-project/*.exe/installer works supposed. but when I try to install this Setup program on another PC on the network which has no service OR installed gives following error during installation:

    Deployment deployment failed shared Variables.lvlib\\192.168.1.109\Shared Variables (error:-1967362042, operating system and Network Services: (Hex 0x8ABC7006) could not start service.).

    I have tried almost all the variations in the construction of Installer and .exe for it, but couldn't get rid of this error.

    I also want to know how would be a PC not having not OR services/programs installed would host OR shared Variable engine. Although application of the runtime in the application, we give option while building the .exe. But not for the EVS.

    I lost several weeks on this issue of emergency assistance would be much appreciated.

    If you uncheck the option "selection auto installers" in installer build specification, it should give you the full list of installers, you can include. It's a little weird that it has not detected the requirement of NSV, however.

    I think you make you life difficult for yourself by trying to do a few odd handshakes with strings/NSV - NSV is 'tag' data - they are good for the reading of the last value of a variable/signal. If you want to send messages around - stream, network - there is even something like reference e-mail Simple (STM) library - http://www.ni.com/example/27739/en/

  • Problem with deploying Qt applications on playbook

    I'm just starting the native BlackBerry development. So the questions can be silly. I'm developing an application that requires a rich user interface. So I googled a bit and found that SDK native BlackBerry tablet OS was support for Qt I downloaded Qt for BlackBerry from github. I created a small window with a Hello World label and a text field. I've deployed it on my playbook. Everything went well but the problem is there's just too much time. Is it normal to take so much time? (like 10-15 minutes) And is there one better alternative to the use of Qt?

    Another thing I would be able to use the basic features of the native user interface using Qt? As recording and playback?

    For BlackBerry 10 there is the waterfall framework integrated into the IDE. Is there something similar for the playbook? Please help me find some answers.

    There are many examples and tutorials delivered with Qt, but also a wealth of information on the web.

    You can include the header bps file in your Qt application to use the native functions for the playbook and there are some examples here to access sound, etc.

  • Problem with deployment on Simulator ("program file does not exist")

    I currently have a problem with a project, I can't deploy it more in the Simulator: I always get an error "the file does not exist.

    The project itself can be compiled without any isse. I can also deploy the application on my phone without problem. But when I'm trying to deploy on the virtual machine, it says:

    What is strange, is that it looks at the folder "arm", which does not exist when I compile for the virtual machine since the architecture should be "x 86"... ".

    In the x 86 folder, I can find the compiled application...

  • PIX with H & S VPN DMZ hosting web server to the hub

    Heres a problem which I think would be quite common for these even remotely conscious of security. Unfortunately, my knowledge of the PIX (as well as other Cisco devices) is still in phase of 'growth '.

    So, here's the problem. I have a WAN put in place with PIXen and SonicWalls, we are set up in a design essentially Hub and Spoke (fine ok so it is partially meshed). We recently decided to pull the trigger on getting a 'real' web site and everything went relatively well that getting up and rolling. (even with my notice of 3 days/deadline), but here's the problem: I set up the web server on the DMZ to the hub pix, and I figured out (the easy part) how to set things so in the Home Office, people can connect to the web server by using the internal address, but I don't know what to do for people in remote offices with VPN home connections. I tried to define static routes, I tried to add the DMZ to the VPN trigger, I tried to do both of the last things together, and I checked that I have rules allowing traffic to the VPN outside the DMZ on the inside. So, what else can I I get?

    I have no problem by configuring a PIX for all basic ups and VPN even at this stage, I can do most of it through the CLI (even if I still want to do more through the PDM). My biggest stumbling block on the PIX has so far was when I actually involve this pesky DMZ...

    I actually two PIX in my office, two for my network domestic (one for my place in the States and one for my place in the Japan), so if you can help me, I'll be the two problems and do not forget to give a rating of excellent reviews!

  • User definable VM names with deploy from vCAC?

    Is there a way to allow a user to specify a virtual machine name when they apply for a VM in vCAC?

    We want to be able to specify a "descriptive of the environment" for deployed machines.

    So far I was able to specify a prefix of the machine. So that I could create 20 different models with different prefixes, it's just awkward and not really an acceptable option.

    First start the server process with "cache - server.cmd".

    After that, you can start another process of client or server, the 'coherence.cmd' script is to start a client process to join the cluster.
