  I was burning and watch DVDs on my Satellite A200 - 1 VP, with vista, since February, the last time I burned anything was a couple of weeks.

  Suddenly, there is a problem, no response when I insert a disc and my divx player says me no recorder found.

  When I am looking in the Device Manager I get the message 'windows cannot load the driver for this hardware' (code 39) "driver is damaged or missing.

  I tried to uninstall it and using the limit filter upper/lower of Toshiba, repair tool but on restart it still cannot install.

  Should I try the Toshiba Recovery Disc and lose a lot of that programs/files, as a last resort?

  The problems started after system restore to a point previous (5 days ago) after downloading some updates of the site Web HP that have been identified as relevant, but caused freezes, which is why the restoration to the previous point.   I need help with my computer. It is a HP Pavilion p6510y desktop PC, running on Windows 7. I fear failure real hard drive, but I hope that I contracted a nasty virus and can somehow get rid of it and find my computer. It has been down for more than a year. After that, my computer fails to start. I don't remember what I did (it's been a year or more now), but I managed to get it to start, go to identify and exploit, load and after a time interval (no specific time. Sometimes it lasts ten minutes, sometimes he can walk for an hour) the Tower gets very strong (maybe fan? I hope not the hard drive, but I don't even know if they make sounds?) and the blue screen on the photo above appears with the sound.

  The results of your tests indicate that the hard disk has failed and that it would need to be replaced.  Backup your data before it goes completely.  Did you create recovery discs when you got the computer, otherwise you can order them from services the customer of HP:

  The specifications of your computer indicates he had 750 GB SATA 7200 RPM, the new hard drive should be no less than that.

• My computer keeps restarting with a driver failure

  I have a laptop Acer Aspire that I have had for about 9 months. I've noticed a few problems over the last 4 months with this computer. It keeps restarting now. Sometimes after it restarts once it starts up perfectly fine but other times he keeps just restarting without end I tried to do a clean boot, cleaning the registry, the chkdsk, the sfc and update the display driver (since sometimes random color banding appears on the screen instead of a reboot or the Office would just go crooked with lines paralyzed at startup programs open to the top or icons). But im still getting the same problem and recently I got a blue screen on a driver failure.

  I recently tried to upgrade to el capitan in yosemite. He failed during the installation process, and now, whenever I boot my mac need me in disk utility. I can't erase, restore, Mount/unmount my osx partition. I took it to the store, they checked, and it was the hard drive failure. IM wondering how I can run windows on it.   Windows is located on its own partition, and if your Mac partition is damaged in any way it is not part of the windows installation.

  If an authorized service apple tells you to replace the drive, you will need to back up your windows partition with something else than Time Machine, if it's not an a separate physical disk.

  Use uefi HP PC Hardware Diagnostics utility to test the optical drive. My HP Omen 15 product ready to version 5.7.2.0 installed. You should maybe download and update your version of HP PC Hardware Diagnostics to get one that will test the optical drive. www.hp.com/go/techcenter/PCDiags

  Press the power button and then press the ESC key to access the boot menu. Now, press the F2 key to enter the diagnosis. Click the tests of components and then click on the optical drive. If the test shows the drive as failure you know it's time to replace it.

  Do a web search on Google or Bing with "hp pavilion g6-2305tx optical drive replacement"as key words to find a seller online.

  In my opinion, you should back up all the data as quickly as possible. In the worst case you could HARD drive might completely die and then you are not able to save the data on it.

  After that you should swap the HARD drive. It s depending on the model of HARD drive you buy how much it will cost but drives hard are not so dear to our days. I think that it will be possible to get one for 50 Euros.
