Patch level ACS migration: 4.1.4 Bundle 13 - >; 5.1
I'm migrating ACS 1111 devices running ACS version 4.1.4 build 13-1121 ACS ACS version 5.1 devices.
In the migration process, it is stated that:
"The machine of migration must be a Windows platform that is running the same version of ACS (including the fix) as the source machine.
and with regard to the supported versions:
"You must install the latest patch for versions of migration supported listed here. In addition, if you have another version of ACS 4.x installed, you must upgrade to one of the supported versions and install the latest patch for this version before you can migrate to ACS 5.1. »
If I check the web associated with ACS version 4.1.4.13 download page, there are many opportunities for software to download from 4.1.4.14.1 and goes up to 4.1.4.13.20.
How do I now which is the patch installed in my system if the ACS Web Interface only provides the information "4.1.4 build 13?
Thank you
If you have installed the patch, ACS web interface also displays the patch level. See the attached screenshot

RMAN Tablespace Transportable between different patch level?
Hello
I've got question about RMAN Tablespace Transportable. Can I use this feature between databases with different patch level? To be exact, I want to pass the SCT DB with a superior version of the power supply (11.2.0.4.2) for DB with lower version of power supply (11.2.0.4.0). Endian and OS version are the same on both environments
Please see the official documentation, which gives very detailed information about the limitations and requirements:
https://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E18283_01/server.112/e17120/tspaces013.htm
Patch-levels are not important, but the character sets and endian type of source and target.
For version compatibility, please see also transportable tablespace possible with several different Oracle versions

Hi all
Where I can see what is the last "Patch level" a particular version of Tux. For example, what is the last level of Tuxedo 9.1 patch, where I can find on?. This information is public? We need an oracle contacts?
Thanks in advanceHello
If you try to determine what is the last level of patch available for a given version, you will need to contact Oracle customer support. I don't think that we have a site accessible to the public that provides this information.

Get detailed OS SPs and patch levels
Hi all
I'm looking to find a way to extract detailed information from the operating system using powercli (Windows and Linux)
When I run get-vmguest - machine virtual vmname | fl , I only get the select OS. Is there a way to get the WIndows SP level, patches, etc. In addition, the same is possible for Linux virtual machines?
Is there a way to get the applications installed also? (I know it's a long shot, but he shot over there)
Thanks for the help,
Mike
That kind of information is not available through the Get-VMGuest cmdet I'm afraid.
You can use the Invoke-VMScript cmdlet to start a script inside the guest OS and query the information required from there.
For Windows boxes, you can use WMI to get the Service Pack
Get-WmiObject win32_operatingsystem | Select-Object Name, ServicePackMajorVersion and ServicePackMinorVersion
Or the following cmdlet to get the fixes.
Get-HotFix
For * nix boxes, depends of the * niox scent to be used. For an area of SLES you can for example use
SPident - vv
For a list of applications, it is similar.
You can do it on Windows boxes
Get-WmiObject-class Win32_Product
On * nix boxes, you can consider getting a

Difference between patch levels between two houses of oracle
Hello
Is it possible that I can know the difference between the patches applied to the database a database B vs.
One way is I can do an opatch and get list patches and compare them by writing a script.
Is there another way to do this?
Thank you
MSKHello
There is no automated method to compare the patches applied to two different OH. You must do this manually after the release of opatch. Or if you have control of the grid, then it can help you to compare the level of patch for two different Oracle_home.

Upgrading VC server for patch level 6 and ESX agent
When the VC server is upgraded for patch 4 6 patch, how is the new agent pushed down on the ESX Server? This is done automatically or is this something that I would have to perform? Will be the need to host ESX restart?
Thank you
the agent is pushed down from vCenter for all ESX host servers that are registered in your vCenter inventory. Your hosts can be unplugged during the upgrade of the agent, but no VM is affected.

The program that I have problems with, install my updates, they moved it and I get an error code 646 #. I tried to fallow the guide to fixing the problems to solve the problem though, everything I've read and tried did not work! I have plenty of room for my memory and now I'm stuck! In addition, my adapter from microsoft IATAP #5 Root\ ISATAP\0007; Microsoft IATAP adapter #7 Root\ISATAP\0008 and IATAP microsoft adapter 9 # 0011 Root\ISATAP\ these 3 devices not working properly because windows cannot load the driver for this device, and I don't have a clue on what and how to solve this problem at all. "Were the changes that I made, I started using Mozilla Firefox 3.5.3 for my internet conection and I installed two programs (1) speed of Uniblue SN 2009 and (2) Uniblue Registry Booster 2010 both programs are by Uniblue Systems. CTA Neather program worked as they said that if I uninstslled them and after that there about 2 weeks later I noticed that my updates of the program did not work. , or if these device IATAP drivers worked! I tried the system repair and recovery, which also does not solve the problem. I have a Toshiba Satellite A215 laptop 2.00 GB and my OS is; Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium, Patch level; Service Pack 2. I'd appreciate any help to fix these problems that I'm having with these programs and drivers, I know just enough about computers to really screw things. Please I need a step by step instruction.
Thank you

I had to disable the "User Account Control" (UAC), which allows you to run as administrator in Vista. After that I turned it off, all 4 of these updates installed and it doesn't require manual installation. Follow these steps:
In the case of Vista view:
1.) go to start; Control Panel; "User accounts and family safety"; User accounts.
2.) click on 'Enable user account control or disable' (last point on the page)
3.) clear the checkbox "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer" and click "OK."
4.) restart the computer, and then run the installation of the system and they work.If you are in Classic view:
1.) go to start; Control Panel; Security Center
2 screen.) in the "Windows Security Center", go to the last item "User Account Control" and click the button to turn off.You can also see the security shield in your Start menu. You can also access the UAC via this.
After that the installation of the system have been updated, make sure that you go back and turn the UAC "" and then restart your computer so that unauthorized updates do not occur. Always try this turn off if install doesn't work.

You run 11.2.0.2 the current level of patches (latest version) group is 11.2.0.4, which requires an 'out-of-place' upgrade - i.e. by installing 11.2.0.4 in another ORACLE_HOME and then by running catupgrd.
However, before you do this, you should be upgrading your Infrastructure of grid (to 11.2.0.4)
Since an upgrade of 11.2.0.2 11.2.0.4 is important, you should test your applications against 11.2.0.4 in a first test environment.
See notes for Support of Oracle
11.2.0.4 patch Set - availability and known issues (Doc ID 1562139.1)
and
Changes important related to Patch Oracle database sets starting with 11.2.0.2 (Doc ID 1189783.1)
CPUs are documented here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/security/alerts-086861.html
The last CPU, for the version October 2013, is the last CPU for 11.2.0.2 [note see Oracle Support "Patch Set update and Critical Patch Update October 2013 availability Document (Doc ID 1571391.1)"]. The subsequent processors will be available for 11.2.0.3 and 11.2.0.4
Some customers, to be safe, do not apply the latest patch "until it has stabilized. They can choose to be a lower than the last patch level. For example, to be on the 11.2.0.3 and the CPU of July 2013. Your organization must have a Patch management policy that drives decisions on correction.

I have seen this error on Québec Tuxedo logs:
Code: '161207' - Description: ' [140400] [161207] CORE, Balance is not enough
It is an error of the tuxedo Version 11.1.1.2.0, 64-bit, 022 Patch level?
If there is the tuxedo error, what is the significance of this?Hello
It's looking like a mistake of the company, "Balance is not enough", it seems someone is trying to withdraw more money than is available in their account? What is a banking system?
I hope this helps...
See you soon,.
