  Newly built pc with newly installed XP Pro 2002 SP3.

  In Firefox 3.6, I put some tools/options/content = Times New Roman 24; in advanced size 24; Allow pages select etc. is not enabled. Some web sites display the text of agreement, while some websites have text half of TNR 12 (as measured against the police in the control panel).

  In IE7 I have put in the view/text size but get results similar to Firefox.

  In OE 6, I updated the tools/options/compose TNR 16. Create a message and TNR 14 appears in the boxes above the message box. The first strike TNR 14 reverts to TNR 12.

  Any help appreciated. I'm short hair out.

  Phew! Stumbled upon the solution: set the resolution of the screen. When we installed windows, a few days ago, we used another monitor. On my home screen, all text has been pressed. race to those who responded.

• Need help on why the text size continues to change as I'm typing or research. Need help on why the page disappears when I try to send email or when I try to view a page online.

  Can someone tell me how to fix these issues?  When I type a message by e-mail or through a Web site, I get the microscope & then the text size change automatically if small I can't read.  The other problem I have is that I continue to in getting kicked off the e-mail page or Web page without hitting any other buttons.  When I type an email, and more text size change, I get a message box asking me if I want to leave the page, click ok or if I want to stay on the page, click Cancel.  I always click Cancel, but get kicked off the e-mail page anyway and have to start over.  This happened to someone?   I asked Acer (my brand of windows 7 computer) for help, but they say the warranty that I treat these & have to pay.  I asked Microsoft to help on this, but I have to pay.  I got this Acer Aspire 7540 for about a month.  Cannot get help anywhere.  Anyone know what to do or where I can ask for help?

  -This only happens when you access email through Internet Explorer?

  -This happens on all the websites or any websites?

  Also, you can check if the CTRL key on the keyboard is sturck and if the program is based on shortcut keys.

  You try to use the on-screen keyboard and check if the problem persists.

  1. click on start.

  2. open the control panel (Classic view).

  3. click on ease of access Center.

  4. click on on-screen keyboard

  I'm looking for an ADA Section 508/WCAG 2.0 compatible excerpt of code that will display the font size icon (two different sizes of A) a simple 'more' or 'less' sign which would allow visually impaired and sighted people still to increase the size of the text display up to 200%.

  Code samples or extracts would be much appreciated, we try to create alternative versions of 508/WCAG 2 of all our tutorials online which is normally based on flash and Adobe did not always accessible Flash entirely WCAG 2. According to my knowledge, but could be wrong, if so and someone can clarify that for me, this would be highly appreciated as well.

  For many years these features were commonly used on web sites, but there is little reason to do them now, because all browsers & mobile devices have built-in zoom features.

  If you had to make buttons to trigger the largest text on your HTML pages, you need JavaScript to call a different style sheet for the larger letters and another for small fonts size.  This will not increase the size of the page or other objects on the page.

• I am a newbie to this and I was wondering how to write CSS Code for text, text color, size text and text effects...

  Please keep in mind that I am a newbie. For the moment, I don't know how to write code, so I use Muse to try to build a Web site that is not super fancy writing know, then improve or build or create a new site later. I called Adobe and they said someone in the forums may know how to write code and that he could help me. That said, if someone could answer my questions and help me somehow, I'd be really grateful.

  You can also check out tutorials on this page for scrolling effects that can do some of the other effects you need. Without exactly knowing your use case it's hard to give specific advice.

  Basically if it is not covered undressed under the text, scrolling Effects tutorials or in a third party widget already made, then you will need to create it yourself using CSS. You will need to use some sort of browser Firebug like developer tools in Firefox to find the ID of the element you want to add the CSS to write the CSS code and insert it into the head section of the page properties.

  For Internet Explorer 9, as for the command bars and the Favorites, the status bar is disabled by default. To turn on the status bar do the following steps.
   
  Has: go to view > toolbars > status bar. (To display the menu bar, press the Alt key).
   
  B: once that the status bar is turned on Zoom will be automatically available. You can also use the zoom feature by clicking the Tools button and using the zoom options there.

  If you are referring to the size of the text in a web browser, you can use the following commands.

  Hold down the CTRL key and press - (less) to reduce the size of the page.

  Hold down the CTRL key and press + (Plus) to increase the size of the page.

  Press and hold Ctrl and press 0 (zero) to return to the default size.

  I realized this was requested in 2008...

  Is there a way to display the character column where the cursor was when in code view? And consider the size of the tabs (i.e., counts tabs as the number of characters)? I'm trying to make sure align various blocks of code in classic asp massively complex (and ugly) code...

  The current version of Dreamweaver does not display the column number. However, the media don't.

  In parentheses is a free, open-source editor created by Adobe. It was announced last year that consoles will be integrated in the next major release of Dreamweaver, and that a public beta would be released sometime this year. You can either wait that the public beta version (should be pretty quickly), or you can download media immediately.

  I tried to get apex_item.text to work in a report by using the sql feature returning. In the report, I have in the select the following:

  apex_item. Text (p_idx = > 1, p_value = > value, p_attributes = > ' size "6" readonly = "")

  The works of part readonly but the size is not. Inspect the HTML source code it shows size is 20 again.

  Also, tried p_size and who does not work either.

  Looking for documentation, it actually does not refer to size at all?

  apex_item.textincludes the p_size parameter specifically to set the size attribute. This works as expected:

• The Web site text size is displayed differently on some browsers

  Hi all

  It's my first time here posting, any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

  I have a little trouble with the text content on my site in some browsers. For the most part, I tested on most of the browsers are supported what I've built very well. So far, I have tested desktop or laptop in Safari, Firefox, Opera, IE and Google Chrome. All seem to display my site very well. I also tested this on an iPad using Safari and Samsung Galaxy Tab in the two browsers available, and this again display the site very well.

  The problem arises when I just view it on an iPhone in Safari. Part of the text is displayed correctly it should do, but most of the sentence below size changes and distorts the central section of the site. It's very frustrating. I'm sure there must be something that that miss me, but I have looked up a down and you don't see anything that seems out of place. I've attached screenshots below.

  Help!

  Above is how the site displayed in Safari on an iPhone. You can see how the text in the gray box above is displayed correctly, but the rest of the sentence below size changes causing in the middle of the site to distort and lose its shape.

  As for your original question, iPhones like resize the text if they think that he would be too small in the available space. It is sometimes quite random looking.

  Try adding to yourCSS...

  {body

  -webkit-text-size-adjust: none;

  }

  And see if that helps at all.

  EDIT: Another option is - webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;

• CS5 allows the historical sign in code view?

  I saw an old thread from last year (http://forums.adobe.com/message/1038491#1038491) where people have confirmed that the historical Panel is enabled in "creation mode" and it is disabled mode code «» I wonder if this feature has been changed in CS5. Does anyone know?

  The reason why I wonder is I'm trying to quickly create hotkeys to comment code (be / * /, or / /) and delete comments. I know there is a button available in the toolbar that will add a / * / comment, thus getting a keyboard shortcut for is not a big deal, but I would really like a way to delete comments which is faster than a right-click on a selection of text to bring up the context menu, go down to "selection >" and click on 'delete comment '. What I've read, it seems that the best way to make a keyboard shortcut for this would be to select text and do "Remove the comment" through the context menu, then create a macro/command using the history panel and finally assign a keyboard shortcut to this command. However, this does not seem possible because for me the history panel is disabled when I'm in mode code (in Dreamweaver 8).

  If anyone has a better solution to my real question, how to create a keyboard shortcut to remove code comments, I would be very grateful to hear it!

  The history panel is not enabled for Code view in CS5.

  And I don't have a suggestion easier or faster to know how to delete the other comments that clicking on the icon in toolbar mode Code.

  The text size change options in FF work great when viewing my site.
  In IE6 and IE7, the text size options do not work.

  You put your fonts in pixels (px) sizes in your style sheets.
