• ColdFusion 11 Questions

  I have a few questions on CF 11. I just installed CF 11 on a Windows 8 Server. This
  is a brand-new installation of server and software. It is not where it can be
  seen outside our network right now, until we have everything installed and
  works on this subject. When it is complete we will turn off the current
  Server and change the name of it and make it public. We have the
  certificate on the live site. If the name of the certificate and the
  name of the server do not match. I've had my sites on CF 7, 8 CF and CF 9
  servers previously.

  We used the mappings on all of our previous versions with images and labels ahref tags. Have
  things have changed in CF 11 to not allow this anymore? An example is < img
  SRC="/PACTlogin/loginIMages/LoginPicture1.jpg" alt = 'Image of Login'
  / >. (/ PACTlogin is the mapping) We use maps like that because we
  dynamic pages under construction. It goes the same for the ahref tags. An example for this is < a
  href="/Pact/pactacademy/index.cfm" > COVENANT Academy < /a > (/ Pact)
  is the mapping). I have the updated mapping in place to the administrator as I have
  used on all previous versions of CF. CF 11 it is said that the image is
  missing. When you right click on the image it is currently looking for the image
  in a folder called PACTlogin or Pact. That does not really exist because it
  is a mapping. Maps continue to work as expected in CF tags such as
  cflocation or cfinclude. What is the work around to make it work again? Do
  you create an application variable in the Application.cfc and use it in the tag
  as < img src = "< cfoutput > #application.» "Addr # < / cfoutput > / login/loginIMages/LoginPicture1.jpg".
  ALT = "" / >? " Is there a better way to do it? What are some ideas?

  I googled a lot and don't have come up with much except that CF is to be
  used with HTML 5 and given that HTML tags like img and ahref aren't CF tags
  does not recognize the link as a mapping as it did before. Is this correct?

  I took and created an application on Application.cfc variable and used in place of
  the mappings and it still does not work. An example is < img src = "< cfoutput > #application.» "Addr # < / cfoutput > / login/loginIMages/LoginPicture1.jpg".
  ALT = "login Image" / >. Any ideas on why it doesn't work anymore?

  If your HTML code tag points to a normal image (PNG, JPG, GIF, etc.) then ColdFusion is not involved, either.  Only the Web server, IIS, using images by using the code you entered.  IIS has no idea what are your CF mappings.  CFLocation CFInclude, however, CF tags and so are processed by CF and are aware of the mappings CF.

  What I guess happened, it's your old servers a virtual directories defined in IIS that were identical to your CF mappings.  Compare you directory structures in IIS between your old and new servers to see if it is the case.

• Question Manager / accumulated simultaneous

  Hello

  I'm looking to implement a manager of the working day and affect a blood of the working day to run several processes from 06:00 to 19:00.  I know this is supposed to help balance the workload so that the standard Manager is not running everything.

  My question is, how does it balance the workload?  I'm posting on the process of 5 or 6 to use Manager of this day's work, but I'm unable to find documentation as to how this affects the balance so that I can convince my managers that this is a good idea and I'm not just wasting time.

  If anyone has advice on how this works I would be very happy.  (DB 11i, R12 Apps)

• Cannot start device - ASDM question Manager

  Hello

  I have recently updated our router to spare ASA 5510 to version 9.1 (3) with image ASDM Version 7.1 (5) 100.

  The customer I try to run the ASDM launcher on Windows 7 x 64 is the latest version of Java (updated 7-5).

  I am able to do at the hand of the screen when I have https to the device.  I can install the ASDM launcher, but as soon as I get the host name and the password I have the following error "could not launch 192.168.X.XXX Device Manager."

  I went through a checklist and I can confirm the following:

  -3des-sha1 license is activated

  -Http server is enabled for my customer subnet

  -ssl encryption is enabled

  -Tried Firefox and IE10

  When I try to run the ASDM via the browser I go as far as to ask for the password, and although the initial prompt seems to accept it, an another authentication box will appear asking you to do this over and over again in an infinite loop.

  I have lived through many forum posts and checklists, but I can't seem to identify this problem.

  If it helps, the box was already flashed back to factory default before I then applied the configuration from scratch (depending on the configuration of our live cam ASA 5510).

  Can anyone help please?

  AAA authentication http LOCAL console

  Alongside this, there should be a user name and password in the local data base of the SAA. Then try to configure command, then check:

  username cisco password cisco

  After this attempt to access two cisco ASDM with username and password and check if it works or not.

• About 4500 X VSS question management port

  I have two switches of 4500 autonomous X that I intend to convert vs. If I cable to the management port on the two switches for a cloud of management, what management port should be the IP address of management? It is the active switch port? If the active switch failed, the management of the standby switch port would resume the IP management?

  The management port is VRF mgmtVrf. Should I create a default for the VRF route ' ip route vrf mgmtvrf 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0... ' to point to the IP Address of the default gateway?

  When you convert the VSS chassis, only the interfaces of management (FastEthernet1) for switch-1 (active) will be visible in the config.  If you want both your cable management cloud management interfaces, but you apply only the IP address to the active switch.

  OK, you need a default route in the vrf mgmt pointing to the bridge.

• 11 ColdFusion license questions

  Hello

  I am reviewing our current ColdFusion 11 Standard Server virtualization and would like some details on licenses
  aspect. Read the EULA, it has a license allows a virtual machine with up to two vcores/vprocs. What I'm not clear all is GHZ restrictions.

  The 5 GHz range is by vcore or virtual machine?  Is it a restriction of host or can be strangled on the VM instance? For example, you can have a simple VM with 2 vcores to 3 GHz with a single license, or do need to be strangled at 2.5 GHz?

  The extent of the physical server as I understand it you set not by physical processor CPU but the number of nuclei divided by 4.  If a standard license would cover a physical processor with up to 4 cores or 2 CPU with up to 8 cores in total?

  I missed the article 1.4 (I searched the PDF file for the 'divide' but not 'divide').  Section 3.1. does not mention the part of carrots/4 well (I read this part carefully).

  However, based on article 1.4, I would say that a standard single license will cover either a single physical processor (Jepp) with up to 8 cores, or two pCPUs with up to 4 cores of each.

• Question Manager 5.5 update

  I just installed the 5.5.0 of esxi and vcenter 5.5 complete everything without any problems. When I try to install "plug-in" Update Manager in vsphere client in the plugin Manager wont appear it. In the web client summons "partially" it allows me to scan and to establish the base but that I can apply the patches, etc...

  Any idea?

  It seems that you are directly connected to the ESXi host. Connect the Server vCenter using vSphere client must be able to see and install the plugin Update Manager.

• ColdFusion server question

  I have a virtual web server at work.  I have several different sites on this subject, lets call them:

  SiteA.MyWork.org

  SiteB.MyWork.org <-this is a ColdFusion site

  SiteC.MyWork.org

  The sites are all installed in drive H is ColdFusion.

  I'll still add a site SiteD.MyWork.org - also on drive H.

  Here are the details of my server:

  Can I add the new site or I need to install the Enterprise version of ColdFusion?  If I need the business version, it is as simple as changing the license or do I need to install it in fact?

  Yes, you can add a new website (SiteD.MyWork.org) and place it in drive H (If H drive is not full).
  Now, no need to install ColdFusion, if you want that your new site ((SiteD.MyWork.org) in the site Web of ColdFusion.) Simply create a connector for the Web site even if you had previously not concocted connector with all (at the server level)

  3 blogs and then added 1 new site (highlighted in red arrow)

  Then launch Configuration tool for the Web server and found that on 3 sites, I had set up a Web site as name of ColdFusion CF 10 Web site

  If in the screenshot above, instead of 10 CF, you see everything, then do not create a connector means do not follow the steps mentioned below

  Now you must configure the new site Web CF10_New and that's it, you're done

• Pixel Bender\Extension Permission Question Manager in Windows 7

  Recently, I've migrated to Windows 7 (64-bit) and am running CS4.

  I tried to install the Pixel Bender plugin 64 bit, I downloaded but still get a message in Adobe Extension Manager, which reads:

  "You don't have appropriate permissions to perform this operation. Contact your system administrator to get permission. "

  I'm my own administrator so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I know there are issues between Adobe and Microsoft, but as with Acrobat isn't a "bypass" until things are sorted?

  Pixel Bender worked very well under Windows XP 32-bit.

  Right-click on the plugin Manager shortcut and choose Run as administrator

  then navigate to the installer pixel bender in the extensions Manager

  Say that I POST something with ajax to a .cfm file that has a query which will be held at the base on the information provided. How can you read in coldfusion, which was passed with the object XMLHttpRequest POST? For example. I want to have a text box where you can enter an identification number and have it refer to a page that runs a coldfusion query to get the persons name. How to read the data that was passed to the page coldfusion since the POST method.

  for this baseTdomain, I am pointing to the oracle database.
  Admin Server (port: 7001) and managed servers (port: 7009) begin very well without any problems.
  
  I exported the ear of the workshop of the domain based file on my local and trying to deploy in the
  managed server.
  
  Its not to deploy and complain... The EAR file is prepared instead of an active state.
  
  How can I copy all the information portlet from pointbase to Oracle stuff. Am I missing something here and so, no deployment happens?

  3 Im still not sure what port you are talking about, where you specified it? do you mean port multicast? in which case it can be the same as the admin server port (the multicast address is different), but you should use unicast I think

  An easier way to do this is to use the setPadding() function:

  Internet<>Global MPLS WAN to other sites

  Hello! We have the configuration above in our environment. The box of the ASA is used to establish the tunnel at our headquarters if the MPLS WAN is down.

  I have question Manager box of the ASA of the network (internal LAN from other sites) other internal local network. I can ping to the internal interface of the ASA from other sites, but when I try to ssh or use the ASDM to manage, I see that there is a msg "routing cannot locate the next hop for TCP to inside inside xxxx xxxx." There is no FW between sites (thru Global WAN MPLS). I can ping each other between sites, and ssh/asdm mgt + acl to allow lan local + world was added.

  I also noticed that I cannot ping other sites of the ASA cli. I can only Ping IP ranges configured as a static route to the inside interface of the box of the SAA.

  What I see, everything works fine, it's just that I'm not able to manage the ASA box from other sites.

  What could be the problem here?

  If the error message is that the SAA could not find a route, then of course it sounds like a routing problem. My first suggestion would be to look at the error message, take the destination address of the message and check to see if the ASA has a route to this address (and to ensure that the route passes through the Interior because the error message indicates that he thinks that the destination is inside the interface)
