  Please, perform the following steps:

  1. stop all services of intermediate layer, including concurrent managers.

  Please ensure that no FNDLIBR, FNDSM or any what death process is running.

  2. shut down the database.

  3. start the database.

  4. connect to SQLPLUS as user applications and run the following:

  EXEC FND_CONC_CLONE. SETUP_CLEAN;

  COMMIT;

  EXIT;

  5 run the AutoConfig on all levels, first on the layers of DB and then the APPS

  and webtiers to repopulate the necessary system tables.

  6. start middle-tier services, including your simultaneous Manager.

  7. test the issue again.

• Cannot start device - ASDM question Manager

  I have recently updated our router to spare ASA 5510 to version 9.1 (3) with image ASDM Version 7.1 (5) 100.

  The customer I try to run the ASDM launcher on Windows 7 x 64 is the latest version of Java (updated 7-5).

  I am able to do at the hand of the screen when I have https to the device.  I can install the ASDM launcher, but as soon as I get the host name and the password I have the following error "could not launch 192.168.X.XXX Device Manager."

  I went through a checklist and I can confirm the following:

  -3des-sha1 license is activated

  -Http server is enabled for my customer subnet

  -ssl encryption is enabled

  -Tried Firefox and IE10

  When I try to run the ASDM via the browser I go as far as to ask for the password, and although the initial prompt seems to accept it, an another authentication box will appear asking you to do this over and over again in an infinite loop.

  I have lived through many forum posts and checklists, but I can't seem to identify this problem.

  If it helps, the box was already flashed back to factory default before I then applied the configuration from scratch (depending on the configuration of our live cam ASA 5510).

  Can anyone help please?

  AAA authentication http LOCAL console

  Alongside this, there should be a user name and password in the local data base of the SAA. Then try to configure command, then check:

  username cisco password cisco

  After this attempt to access two cisco ASDM with username and password and check if it works or not.

  I have two switches of 4500 autonomous X that I intend to convert vs. If I cable to the management port on the two switches for a cloud of management, what management port should be the IP address of management? It is the active switch port? If the active switch failed, the management of the standby switch port would resume the IP management?

  The management port is VRF mgmtVrf. Should I create a default for the VRF route ' ip route vrf mgmtvrf 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0... ' to point to the IP Address of the default gateway?

  When you convert the VSS chassis, only the interfaces of management (FastEthernet1) for switch-1 (active) will be visible in the config.  If you want both your cable management cloud management interfaces, but you apply only the IP address to the active switch.

  OK, you need a default route in the vrf mgmt pointing to the bridge.

  I just installed the 5.5.0 of esxi and vcenter 5.5 complete everything without any problems. When I try to install "plug-in" Update Manager in vsphere client in the plugin Manager wont appear it. In the web client summons "partially" it allows me to scan and to establish the base but that I can apply the patches, etc...

  Any idea?

  It seems that you are directly connected to the ESXi host. Connect the Server vCenter using vSphere client must be able to see and install the plugin Update Manager.

• Pixel Bender\Extension Permission Question Manager in Windows 7

  Recently, I've migrated to Windows 7 (64-bit) and am running CS4.

  I tried to install the Pixel Bender plugin 64 bit, I downloaded but still get a message in Adobe Extension Manager, which reads:

  "You don't have appropriate permissions to perform this operation. Contact your system administrator to get permission. "

  I'm my own administrator so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I know there are issues between Adobe and Microsoft, but as with Acrobat isn't a "bypass" until things are sorted?

  Pixel Bender worked very well under Windows XP 32-bit.

  I search the web and asktom and I got a little confused and lost.

  It already handles simultaneous situations.
  I maintain (still) a survey application 9.2 database with 20 + users daily from 5 countries and 150 + dbms_jobs runs every minute. Never had any problems with regard to the lock, unless (as said) we decided to replace the locking mechanism (it was 2006)... It still works fine (although not supported now ;)).
  I'm sorry, unless you have a unit test that illustrates what you think could go wrong, I can't say anything else...

  for this baseTdomain, I am pointing to the oracle database.
  Admin Server (port: 7001) and managed servers (port: 7009) begin very well without any problems.
  
  I exported the ear of the workshop of the domain based file on my local and trying to deploy in the
  managed server.
  
  Its not to deploy and complain... The EAR file is prepared instead of an active state.
  
  How can I copy all the information portlet from pointbase to Oracle stuff. Am I missing something here and so, no deployment happens?

  3 Im still not sure what port you are talking about, where you specified it? do you mean port multicast? in which case it can be the same as the admin server port (the multicast address is different), but you should use unicast I think

• Question about presentation simultaneous program via PL/SQL

  I encountered a strange problem. I have a table that contains 6 lines of project I want to apply a seeded competitor of (this operation because the seeded program runs about 100 min. and trying to break up to run faster). He shall submit the first 5 very well and returned a request id. On the 6th, he sends the request, but never comes back with a request id or even apply 0. The program just hangs and all 6 processes launching run and finish, but the main program continues to run and everything goes ever further. I have to cancel it, and when I do, I lose what was written in the newspaper, so I made a table bit debug and who inserts debugging information. Here is the presentation code and the results in the table of debugging. As you can see that it goes ever further beyond the loop. No idea why this is happening? I have had it before and am at a loss.

  I tried to make l_range_cnt be 1 just to see if she has the first set of ranges of project, and then finish running the program, but it's not. Debugging table results when range_cnt is 1 is:

• Training lab - another take - a lot of individual questions

  I know that this question was asked by ad-nauseam in various ways, I don't know, but that I need more of a general answering him. I can dig plug white box on various web sites. This isn't what I'm asking. My real question will follow more of my background first to help it make more sense. Please do not hesitate to rip one of my assumptions below, I don't mind citiciscm if it is constructive!

  I want to put in place is a real physical laboratory (and virtual). Please don't "you can run ESXi in Workstation 8" type of answers, I moved far beyond... I now know enough to be dangerous lol!

  What I've ever seen is any type of response relative to a bare minimum HIGH AVAILABILITY installation / FAULT TOLERANT hardware laboratory (which may evolve) that is specifically for learning all the vSpehere/ESXi offers 5... vMotion is a big. I want something where I can pull the plug on one box to check if I've developed something that can handle hardware failures. I also want to break the storage and learn how iSCSI at the level of (affordable) material.

  Right now, so that you know where I'll be, I execute the following to a laboratory:

  1. physics, 1 box which is a server dedicated Windows 2008 R2 AD. A box of generic typical 4 GB Office. It is always static in order to bring down other elements of my lab and re - build immediately. IP: 192.168.1.5

  2. 1 generic whitebox which is an all-in-one server and all parts are on the VMWare HCL:

  • 32 GB of Ram
  • 2 - 8Core AMD processors
  • Supermicro motherboard
  • 2 TB of internal hard drives
  • 4 network interface card (although I have problems if I use more than 2, don't know why?) They constantly have power under ESXi4.1)
  • I put a NETWORK adapter to the virtual machine the other for management (although with this configuration, I guess it is useless)
  • I created this box for IP: 192.168.1.2 and it is joined to the domain

  This whitebox running the following virtual servers:

  • A second Win 2008 R2 AD Server IP: 192.168.1.6
  • A Windows 2008 R2 vCenter Server IP: 192.168.1.7
  • At all times 2-10 various Windows 2008 R2 or linux servers for other learning software

  What I want to do is move away from the monolythic single ESXi box and to get rid of my primary external AD server for the lab. I've got money that I can pass (to a point), so that's what I thought, I need:

  • 3 identical physical boxes, each of which can run 5 ESXi hypervisor. (Amount of VM, I want to run side...) NIC how each box should have? I'm assuming that 1 is the minimum, but there is literally no traffic, so I don't need NIC team only purposes of traffic, or deal with issues of "breach of the cable" regarding HA or FT. But after NIC for purposes of separating the management network, vs the networks vs the learning network VMotion VM is something else, as it relates to the learning of aspects of configuration.
  • I also want to implement the whole field in VM so I'm going to need resources to manage the following (spread over 3-4 VMS per box):
    • 2 servers to Win2008 R2 ads that both DNS and DHCP information
    • 1 Win2008 R2 Server dedicated to vCenter
    • 1 Win2008 R2 Web/SQL server
    • 2-6 additional Win/Linux servers
    • Suppose that each VM server is the installation program expects 2 carrots and the 4 GB of ram

  I know with a minimum traffic and how vSphere can share resources I didn't need complete Specifications for the RAM/CPU, but I would like that the system stay 100% direct (though I know slow) if one box fails and the VM on this box have to migrate to the other 2 and strain resources. I hope this makes sense? So each whitebox having 16 GB of RAM and a processor core Intel or AMD 4 would suit? Or a 4 core CPU is not sufficient to manage 4 simultaneous VM, let alone more and not bog until unusable? What happens if the 2 boxes failed? One of these boxes could still handle it all (Yes, I know it would be dog slow, but could he?)

  I am also looking something like a Buffalo NAS iSCSI technology or a whitebox self built OpenFiler iSCSI NAS. I wish it were small but fast, as in 6-128 GB SSD drives one perhaps of raid 5 configuration? How many NIC? Only 2? 4?

  I currently have a switch 16 port Gigabit, everything works through the unmanaged. Should I replace this with a Cisco switch? more than 1? How many ports?

  I know it's a ton of request in a post, so I hope that the general question of too much arc is obvious!

  Another comment on the use of server rack for a lab at home vs. office boxes - the rack servers using are noisy. It doesn't bother me (I guess I spent too much time in data centers), but for some the noise level would be too much.

• Premiere Pro management/view comments

  I have a few questions about the management and display of comments that are downloaded from first Pro CS5:

  1. Is the only way to navigate through the "parties' an individual review the upper and down arrows and box" # of # "in the upper left corner of the review page? I poked and pushed all around service and have found no other way to navigate directly on a particular review. If I'm missing, please notify; If she's not here, it is something that should be added soon to make it a viable way to send previews to a customer. I have a project with more than 20 sequences/parties in there already, and not not not quick access to a specific part directly goes against already fickle customers.
  2. It depends on the first question, so I think I already know the answer: is there a way to rearrange the order in which the downloaded comments are displayed? For example, I have five exams called A, B, C, D and E and I want them to appear in this order. However, the order they have been downloaded is the order that they are displayed: D, C, E, A, b., it seems there could be a way to do for the reviews/graphics (I don't know about you, like I don't work in this area or use CS Review for such), but I can't find this option for video reviews.
  3. It's more of a feature request than a "How-to" request: we need batch download and coding ability. I don't know if this would involve launch SOUL for background encoding (as does now for local exports), but a significant improvement could be the assignment of priority to encode which are ready to be downloaded. In the example above with the 20 - ish sequences (all about a minute in length), the encoding goes pretty fast on my system - much faster than the download. So, I can get five or six encodes done before the first download is complete. Instead of the queue of the downloads in order, CS Review Committee trying to push each encode to the top of the pipe that it is complete. This makes the process of full download slower it would be if they were downloaded in series, rather than in parallel.

  The first and second elements are "gottahaves" If there is no way to do now (I can already hear the grumbling customer now), and the third would be a "nicetahave", so I hope that the feature and the feature updates are available on time. For the record, I like the service - I am really impressed with it - and see great potential in it to make my life quite a bit more easy when it comes to customer relations. I just hope that I'm missing #1 and #2 above, and there is easy access to both method.

  (Ironic) BONUS QUESTION: for those of us who are in the video production and won't use CS Review for video content, will be applied to the amount of time between our CS5 registration date and version of the CS Review for Premiere Pro service, so that we receive all of the submissions from our free 12-month subscription?

  By your demands:

  1. navigation in the parties to a review using web client: you have found two ways to get there via the arrows and the part number edit box. We plan improve navigation, we have in our next releases. Question: What type of navigation where you expect to find and do not have?

  2. reorganization of parts - you can drag drop pieces to move using the review board. This was missing in the chapter in using CS Review. Good fishing Colin. We are looking at ways to make this more evident in the review panel and the web client.

  3. with regard to background processing and encodes and the prioritization of the upload - we explore with SOUL to a queue of coding. We had not yet considered the use case for prioritizing the upload. Good things. This is valuable information and timely and thanks for the comments. Question: how many simultaneous downloads and what size/duration of the video are typical?

  While I can't use or disclose many details of the schedule, know that we are actively working on these points. Fun party services, is that we want to have more frequent releases of functionality as desktop applications.
