  • Cyan is not printing on HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more - Air bubbles in the ink tubes

    Hi all

I know why cyan is not printing.  It is because of the following:

Ago, I ran out of ink cyan printing ("please replace cyan before continuing").  I live in a remote area and was not able to buy a replacement cyan cartridge, so I read on a hack on the Internet, that was to fool the printer into thinking that the cyan cartridge remained inside ink (just basically restricting the measure gauge so that it read the Full cartridge).  I did it because I had a print document that requires only the black ink, so I knew that this wouldn't be a problem.  Then life happened and I completely forgot my little shortcut, and my wife printed a number of color photos.  I finally had time to cartridges, and I now understood that cyan is not print at all.  I have now opened up the printer and realize that the cyan ink tube is full of bubbles...

I tried to fix this by printing A4 pages that are for the most part, cyan, but without success.  I even tried to put pressure on the ink cartridge cyan in order to flood the cyan ink tubes - also, it does not work.  I read somewhere that there is a way to actually get some printers to pump tubes with ink, is - it possible on the Officejet Pro 8500 has more?

Of course, I did all the tools that are pre-set to the arsenal of 8500, but still no luck.

I know I'm in the situation I am purely because I don't use the device as intended, and people that no one is to blame but me, but I'd appreciate any help you could provide.

    Thank you

    John

John, looks like you have a problem with the ink system. Unfortunately, what it looks like happened here, is that your ink nozzle, tubing and probably-print head have put dry for cyan. Work around is pretty neat, but it really is only recommended for a very temporary solution. If the ink has dried in the piping, but elsewhere in the printer then can be a decent chance that this printer will be not likely reprint the cyan. You can try to run the automatic cleaning process (up to three times I would say) via the Tools menu in the Setup (the wrench).

In addition, I'm not sure that this will be a question that has a simple resolution. Apologies, John.

  • AProblems printing with HP Officejet 6500 a Plus

I have a new HP Officejet 6500 has more, and have had the following problems, since it was installed. I'm on an iMac computer using Mac OS 10.6.6. The power adapter is plugged into a wall outlet as suggested. I turn my computer off every night. When I start it in the morning, the HP utility does not respond and the printer does not print. I have to disconnect and reconnect the printer in the mornings, then it prints for the rest of the day. Utility HP must be on to connect to the printer? I keep in my dock and do it on connect at startup. He continues to try to answer, and then I have to force close. After I have to plug and unplug the power adapter, everything works fine, but never had to do this with any other HP printer.

OK, if it is a Netgear, then the DHCP range is usually the whole (.2 a.254.  So, just assign the printer to its current IP address, delete and add back into your PC, then restart and see if he can find.

  • How can I configure the printer on my Officejet 6500 a display more to the date and time?

I replaced my wireless HP OfficeJet All In One printer 6400 with a 6500 has more wireless and want the default screen to have the date and time, just like my previous one. How am I able to do? I've set the date and time through preferences, but I want to be there when I turn on the printer.

  • Gibberish print on HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 has more in a single 910

Files Adobe PDF prints gibberish, sometimes on my HP Officejet Pro 8500 has most everything one - sometimes in a part of the page it's gibberish, sometimes all this, sometimes none of that.

Good news. A specialist technology mine fixed simply by running a repair on my installed Adobe program.  Don't know how she is, but she said it has an option to run a repair and it did.  I had many phone HP technicians and business software tech trying to solve this problem over the last 3 years.  YAA!  And technicians called Yaa (migrant from Africa).

  • Print on my OfficeJet Pro 8500 has more ceased altogether

My printer has suddenly stopped working for everyone.  I set it up to use wireless connectivity.  It was working fine Friday, but suddenly ceased to work for everyone.  The only way to print anything this either all must present something to the queue and the PC.  It's completely stupid and of course incredibly annoying.  I printed a test page; works very well.  I downloaded and installed printing HP and Scan Doctor 2.0, he ran and that concerned, all is well.  I turned off the printer and turned it back, and that did not help at all

What's wrong?  Why it has stopped working?  Is it normal to just HP printers stop working suddenly?  Should I give up and buy all the products HP at all, because this kind of thing has happened with every HP printer I've ever owned.

You want to support.  They want to run tests (or you have to do) on your printer, before they give you a new.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more and Windows 8

    Hi all ~

Can someone tell what it means and walk in a fix?  (You know the question what our level of expertise...)

We had a HP Pro 8500 a desktop for a couple of years more.  We just got the HP TouchSmart with Windows 8, and while we can print from the computer very well, we cannot analyze.  Loading the CD for the printer, we get a message that says: "install cannot continue...". The operating system on this computer is not supported. Upgrade the operating system"

We do not know how to proceed.

    Thank you

Since you get an error that the operating system is not supported, you can benefit from getting on the HP site and download the package from there.  Here is a link directly to this site (US Version): HP Officejet 8500 has more full feature software and drivers.

In this link you will find all downloads of software available for the printer.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 has more: Scanner has stopped working

Scanner no longer works. Printer turned on and outside, missed scan printer Dr, which did not work, pulled the power cord, checked the wireless network, turn off router then return. Never had this much trouble getting scanner to work. Ideas.

    @Joe5

If you did not, please remove the existing printer software > restart > install a new copy of the software full functionality.

Assuming the printer is functional, connected, and that print of Diagnostics shows no errors, then consider / try one of the following Scan Options.

  • Problems with the operation of the Second paper tray - HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more

I just bought a second paper cartridge for my HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more. It shows up on my printer paper tray 2.  However, I can't understand how to go between the paper trays to get items to print from the individual trays.  A choice should not result when I click on PRINT?  Or if I should not be able to set up a default tray for printing on letter size, but be able to change in the other side, when I want to print an envelope?

I will be happy to help you with this problem.

The 2nd test is an accessory. It is not downloaded in the drivers. You will need to do the 2nd tray DEFAULT tray for stationery. Go to your settings on the printer. Choose Preferences and go to the default tray.

The envelopes and any other type of paper in addition to the letter will be put in TRAY 1.

Let me know how it goes.

  • Printing problem has more than 8500

My Officejet pro 8500 has more has an orange square around the icon wireless on the printer itself.  any ideas?

Normally, this indicates that there is a problem with the Wi - Fi, the printer's Setup. It could be indicating that the signal is low or that the wireless card is having a problem.

I ran the Test on the printer's wireless network to ensure that the wireless card is good and that the printer has a good signal.
    * Press the arrow to the right while on the home screen of the printer
    * Select Setup Menu.
    * Select the network Menu
    * Scroll the Test report wireless and select

    Let me know the results.

  • OfficeJet pro 8500 has more: Officejet pro 8500 has will not be printed sheets

I have an Officejet Pro 8500 has more printer. I try to print the recipes on cards, but everytime I try to do my printer says "incorrect paper size" and then cancels the job. How can I fix it? I have a macbook... I don't know if it's part of the problem?

Most programs running under OS X obey the size of default page defined by the Print Center/Printer Setup Utility preferences.

A notable exception to this rule, however, is that Microsoft Word, which has its own system to decide what paper size to use.

Change the default value of letter to A4

Idea of what should be the default paper size is set in the Normal template.

Go to Format > Document, and then press the button layout... .

Set the size of A4 paper, and then press OK.

Press the button by default... , answer Yes to the dialog box, and then press OK.

I imagine that this also applies to listings so instead of A4, you'd look for 4 x 6! Please let me know if that does the trick!
