HP Envy Ultrabook 6 t-1000 BSOD - iaStor.sys

As I was using my laptop, I noticed that the antivirus software, Malwarebytes, asked that I had to restart my laptop. So not much and I restarted. Now, whenever I turn it on it gives me two options: '(recommended launch Startup Repair' and 'Start Windows normally'. If I choose 'Launch Startup Repair', it brings me straight to the BSOD. If I choose "Start Windows normally", it takes back me to two options. Now, I tried to go to three different types of Modes safe, but just brought me two choices of before which leads to the BSOD. The BSOD said:

STOP: 0X0000007E (0XFFFFF88001681026, 0XFFFFF88002F499E8, 0XFFFFFFFFC000005, 0XFFFFF88002F49240)

isStor.sys - address FFFFF88001681026 base at FFFFF8800163A000, DateStamp 4ed5a567

PLEASE HELP ME! I AM IN DESPERATE NEED! I literally just go this laptop.

  • HP Envy Ultrabook 6 t-1000 CTO: HARD drive is not displayed

    Hello.

I had the Windows Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) once or twice when using simple everyday applications on my Ultrabook. The results were either not different on Mode without failure. After awhile, I started having 'No Bootable disc' error while starting up. Recovery (press F11) will not appear so. I tried the HP Diagnostics (by pressing F2 at startup) and Test the hard drive as well as the Test of memory shows PASSED on the formats of short or long.

    I tried the following:

    1. I did some research on Google and entered in the BIOS/Insyde utility (by pressing F10 at startup), loaded default installation (by pressing F9), saved changes and did a restart, but I get the error again.

    2. I downloaded Windows 7 64-bit Microsoft store, created a boot USB and plugged. I was able to access the Windows Installation Page, but he wouldn't show my hard drive at all.

    3. I find the support page of my product on the site HP and downloaded the latest drivers, put it in a USB device and booted up the system from the Windows Setup disc. On the page where it was supposed to show my internal hard drives, it showed only USB drives and there is an option "Load Driver" I clicked on and selected the driver files I downloaded from the HP website. Everything was going well until I chose iaStor.inf... this time, the system has hung up and the BSOD appeared with an error stating the file 'iaStor.sys '.

    My questions:

1 if diagnostic Tests are passed, I can assume that the material is well?

    2. Although I already placed an order for HP recovery discs, I doubt if it could help because my HARD drive drivers seem to be missing. What is your opinion?
    3. is there a way to reset zero/reload drivers BIOS/Insyde utility?

    My system features:
Laptop model: PC portable HP Envy 6
Product no.: A9G58AV (the back panel laptop says A9G30AV)
    {Information}
    Processor: 2nd generation Intel Core i5 - 2467 M CPU @ 1.6 GHz + Intel HD Graphics 3000
    BIOS version: F.0D
    Total memory: 4 GB
Operating system: Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
HARD drive: 500 GB 5400 rpm SATA RAW 7mm hard drive with 32 GB WSSD faster reduction of the hard disk Cache

Unfortunately at that I disagree with Paul and I think that you may be looking for a bad motherboard, but we would like first to try to remove the disc of WSSD 32 gig.

    Here is the Manual:

    Repair manuals

See Page 40. Unfortunately, this model is a little difficult to disassemble, but measures are set out in the manual. If it is still under warranty, you can't do that. If the hard drive passes the test of F2 then I tend to think that it's not the hard drive.

  • Question for a memory upgrade ENVY Ultrabook 6 t-1000

There is no sign of memory on this machine, so it seems that I have to remove the front panel together in order to access the memory. I don't want to damage the computer so I would appreciate some advice on how to do it properly.

You will need to remove the case _ all background there are 12 screws now in place.

Go to your model as seen in the screenshot, and when you get to the appearance of the video page for Basic wardrobe in the left column.

Make sure you are connected before you click the link and give time for the video to load.

After you remove the base, click on the video of memory because you have to follow some precautions.

  • iaStor.sys BSOD on my new satellite U series

    Hello.

All of a sudden without any update, or a new program installation, my laptop start BSOD (BSOD iaStor.sys & iaStorA.sys) and restart...
    * Both on safe mode and normal mode.
    * I try the last known good configuration, but nothing.
    * I also tried to system restore to another point of restoration, a few days before that the problem but nothing.
    * I tried with a lot of viruses/malware/rootkit programs, but nothing. It's clean.
    * I tried to uninstall/install but intel rapid storage driver nothing.
    * I uncheck in msconfig-> services menu but nothing.
    * I have uninstall antivirus.
    * I went to the bios and I load the default settings.
    * I uncheck everything in msconfig--> startup.

    * Finally, I did system restore settings by default, but when I go to the last menu, I had the same BSOD... Help, please. I don't know what else to try! :( :( :( . Any idea? The laptop is new. I have only two months. He is too young to go to toshiba service :(

    http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/XQ90/819/3ec1.jpg

The screenshots of the blue screen shows the details of the file iastor.sys.
This file iastor.sys belongs to the SATA controller driver.

Especially this kind of BSOD would appear if you must pass between the compatible mode (IDE) and AHCI in the BIOS.

It could also be that the HARD internal disk works badly or the HARD disk controller.

But I think you should start the basic principles which is the replacement of the HARD disk.
    The warranty is valid?
I recommend you contact a technician because in this case, the warranty would cover the repair costs in case of valid warranty.

    OS: Win8 64bits

So recently my laptop has had a dead HARD drive, and because my warranty is no longer active, patients have to pay to replace. So, I decided I may as well remove the HARD drive and get a SSD to replace the main drive.

The only problem I have is that I never recived one Win8 disc, it came pre-installed on the laptop (no CD drive). If I had to get a new drive, how would I go about moving on my windows install? (Really want to buy a second copy for the laptop) Is it still possible?

Of course cancel the guarantee is not something that is particularly important to me, and exchanging components of PC is nothing new to me, however Exchange disk main hard of a computer with a copy of windows that I don't want to lose is something I've ever done. If all the advice, specifically related to windows issue, would be greatly appreciated.

  • External monitor from HP ENVY Ultrabook 6-1113tx

    Hello

I recently bought a HP ENVY Ultrabook 6-1113tx. I want to plug in an external lcd/led monitor. the problem is that this model of ultrabook does not come with the traditional vga port. are there alternatives apart from buying a new monitor with HDMI input?

Purchase new monitor is a better choice or you can buy a CONVERTER (no adapter) HDMI/VGA (digital to analog) which means that you can buy more material and the result's not big.

Looks like you need to update iastor.sys:

iastor.sys = Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver - see System/card mother Maker and manufacturer of chipset.
This driver could perhaps was pushed to the fault by other programs such as Symantec/Norton.

This driver is extremely difficult to install if you need system or the manufacturer of the motherboard (for custom

Two main causes of this blue screen video drivers and BIOS - check with the system manufacturer

    Cause

Bug KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED control is a very common bug control. To interpret it, you must identify which exception has been generated.

    Common exception codes are:

    • 0 x 80000002: STATUS_DATATYPE_MISALIGNMENT indicates that an unaligned data reference was encountered.

    • 0 x 80000003: STATUS_BREAKPOINT indicates that a breakpoint or ASSERTION was met when no kernel debugger was attached to the system.

    • 0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates that a memory access violation has occurred.

    Solve the problem

If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques:

    • Make sure you have enough disk space.
    • If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Try changing video cards.
    • Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
    • Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.

If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2 (the address of the exception) should identify the driver or function that caused the problem.

If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following:

    • Hardware incompatibility. Ensure that all new equipment installed is listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.
    • Service driver or defective peripheral system. A chauffeur service or defective peripheral system could be responsible for this error. The hardware problems, such as BIOS incompatibilities, conflicts of memory and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

If the verification of the message bug list a driver by name, disable or remove that driver. In addition, disable or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during the startup sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.

If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third-party remote control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the system startup service using the recovery and then Console by removing the offending system service file.

Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device or driver responsible for control of bug 0x1E. You can disable the cache in memory of the BIOS to try to resolve the error. You must also run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or after installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and the system BIOS incompatibilities. For any problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with lack of disk space, reduce the number of files on the hard disk drive target. Search and delete temporary files that you do not have to have, files hidden Internet, application backup files and files saved.chk, which contain fragments of files on disk scans. You can also use an another hard disk drive with more free space for the installation.

You can solve the problems of BIOS by upgrading the version of the system BIOS
