Color problem

My monitor has a color problem that needs fixing, the color is not right or true to life... How can I fix?

A little more information please. What model Mac? Year? What you see or what the app (s) do you use which shows the aberrant color cast? Did you do the steps in the system preferences of color correction of > displays > color > Calibrate...?

The red color has disappeared from my computer. The moniter is ok.

    Hello

You did it changes on your machine before the problem?

It could be a hardware failure.

Things that can be loaded are listed below:

    broken monitor cable has...
    b. defective monitor.
    c. faulty graphics card.

    You can consider measurements:

    Step 1:

Double check that monitor cable is firmly attached. Try the Wiggles, see if the color returns.
    Step 2:

Test another monitor on the PC (Personal Computer), and/or the monitor on another PC.
    Step 3:

You may have a bad cable, or the monitor may be defective.

    Step 4:

Right-click on the desktop and select Properties. Go to the tab settings, and report on what choice was filed under 'Color quality' and what is the other choice in the drop-down list?

If there is no choice of color quality better than what you have, you may not use the correct driver for your video card or monitor.

Uninstall and reinstall the drivers for video card and see if the red color appears.

Follow the steps in the link to uninstall and reinstall the video card drivers.

  • Active window color problem - cannot change the background color

original title: Active window color problem

By right-clicking: Desktop, then click on: personalization / window color and appearance / settings (Advanced) appearance, Windows user can assign a background color of the active window in any application.  This is useful for those of us who don't want a stark white screen; We can assign a mild pastel tint which may be easier on the eyes for long term sessions.

At some recent point, I lost the background color of the active window within Windows uses 'household.  I still not my background color assigned in any application I run (Word, Mail, etc.), but using Windows Explorer to navigate through my hard drive, the active window is now always the default stark white Windows.  How this change and can it be forced to adhere to the assigned active window background color?

    Hello

Step 1: Check if the problem continues in a new user account.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-is-a-user-account

Step 2: If the problem does not persist in a new user account, then the old profile could have been corrupted. Try the following article to fix a corrupted user profile.

its is possible to open a new Document with the CMYK color Mode

You can create a new document with tasks defined in CMYK profile and save it here:

    /Users/ [username] / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator 19 / fr_FR / New Document profiles

Why would you do that, though? The laboratory is the best way to represent a blot of ink, if you print with the tones, and if you're not, it is best to not use them.

I am importing jpg files in FCP7 and color moves (loss of cast red/green)

  • Graph legend silver color problem (Bug?)

Must be the end of the week...

I can't seem to find a way back to the original color of the chart legend money once I have it painted a different color (Figure 2 below, painted 'System'):

I used the for the main body color picker and the original legend of the chart (they are the same, apparently), but when I use this color choice, no question when I apply it (corner, Center, etc.), I get the weird result shown in Figure 3). What gives?

I have no problem with modern graphics:

I enclose the offending VI and the non-offending someone confirm (or not).

I'm sure there is a way, it seems just too stupid to understand.

I would say that you do not teach an old horse like me to paint a chart legend differently that it has been used forever...

This is of course all the stuff of LV 2011.

I agree it's a bug and it will drop as such, but I also want to explain what is happening.

Money controls have the background of the text transparent plot value so that you can see the gradient of silver decoration behind it.

When you colour legend, it changes the colors of foreground and background on the text of the plot, as well as on the framework. How works the silver decoration, these two colours are the endpoints of the gradient, you receive the darker color as the background of the plot.

I have this set probably by having the paint bucket tool let the background as transparent.

To establish a chart with this problem, you can use the control editor. By choosing 'Customize' mode, you can select the text of the plot and choose Edition > control to customize to open in another editor to control where you can color.

  • HP C5180: Printer color problems

I have a HP C5180 printer and printing color is messed up. My black watch diagnosis page than black, yellow-green with yellow strips, Lt Cyan shows as a dark cyan, cyan is white, Lt Magenta is dark blue, Magenta is Lt. blue. Anyone know how to fix this... I changed the printer cartirdges... the same problem. I cleaned the print heads. several times and followed the suggestions on the tech support pages. I would not only use this printer as a black and white printer.

    Hey @TomTwist,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I would like to help you today to solve print quality problems you are having with your HP Photosmart C5180 all-in-One Printer. Because you have already replaced the ink cartridges and clean the printhead several times nothing is done, there is a good chance to have a defective print head. The print head is what reads the cartridge and puts ink on the page. On your print head template system is a non-replaceable part. Therefore, should that do not pass part a replacement of the entire unit would be necessary. However, I would like to go through the following steps to conveniently solve this problem of quality.

I won't make you run any printhead more clean. The rule is usually 2 or 3 clean makes no difference at all, don't make a fourth because when you clean the printhead system it uses ink in order to rinse the ink system. If 2 or 3 clean make no difference that you're just wasting if you run a clean more.

    Step 1: Calibrate the colors:

    1. open the printer Toolbox: HP Solution Center. This should be on the desktop of your computer.

    2. If you have more than one printer installed, be sure to select the correct printer tab in the HP Solution Center

    3. click on settings

    4. click on print settings.

    5. click on printer Toolbox.

    6. on the device Services tab, click color to calibrate, and then follow the instructions on the screen. The procedure takes about two minutes and requires two sheets of paper.

Source: The printed colors are not colors should

If the problem persists, please continue to the next step.

Step 2: Align the print head:

    1. click on HP Solution Center's on your desktop

    2. click on settings.

    3. click on print settings

    4. click on printer Toolbox.

    5. on the tab Services of device the printer, Toolbox, click align the print cartridges, and then follow the instructions on the screen.

Source: Streaks or lines in the printed Image

Please test print once these two steps have been taken. If the issue of quality still persists, because you have already replaced your cartridges the next step would be a replacement of the entire unit.

If you want to explore additional options available for your printer, I suggest you contact the Technical Support queue by phone.

  • Setting Photoshop cc 2015 color problem

    Hi all

Info just Express systems are iMacs 2012 the latest version of os x el capitan.

I'm running a problem with setting the default color. I created a color setting and placed in the "\Library\application support\adobe\color\settings" of the primary user. Then I put it in the default program and it works by default whenever the program is started.

Now the problem that I am running is that other users on these systems to get an error message "could not synchronize the color setting because the file is locked." After hitting ok, the program works very well and you can manually select the color setting. I had to color layout in the file and has given read and write access to everyone and also tried specifically to giving access to some users without result.

I would like to have all accounts to be able to synchronize the color parameter when you start Photoshop. Any help would be appreciated.

A color setting is just a preset saying Photoshop including CCI (System installed) profiles are the default values, as well as a few policy options. In Adobe applications, "synchronizing" means simply put in one application and automatic allocation that saved preset in other applications as well. Once loaded, it will remain.

Icc profiles have recovered from the BONE as it does.

There is no need to synchronize. On the one hand, applications do not need to have the same color settings, you can define them differently in each app. Second, you can "Save" the color settings in a single application and 'Load' in another.  In both cases there is no synchronization at all.

  • In the tab preview/development of Lightroom color problems

    Hi all

I shot an event and imported the photos to the newly installed Lightroom (I already use on another PC and Lightroom, it works fine).Capture1.PNG

According to the "background color" (white, light grey, dark grey etc.) I have chosen, the image in the Center, where I apply all settings, change. And there is always this effect of weird color on it. You see, on the right, the image is displayed in the normal way.

I use Lightroom CC (2015) on a PC. I use no presets.

Someone of you has a solution to my problem or has had the same problem? Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't know since when I read PR clips, all adjusted color begin to fade/blink/run more...

(Rendering engine: the acceleration GPU OPEN CL Mercury playback engine)

So I got a counselor to change to Mercury engine software reading onlyrendering engine and the color issue is resolved after that, but, reading delay is super terrible...

Is - this RAM problem? I'm using Premiere Pro CC 2015 and Macbook pro (DDR3 8 GB in 1867 MHz / 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5)...

Please notify. Thank you very much.

Ah, you have a laptop with an integrated GPU (and shared video memory). These are certainly not the best for first.

If you look at the official system requirements, see "optional: map Adobe certified GPU with at least 1 GB of VRAM for GPU acceleration. The Intel GPU integrated have no VRAM that is clean and have never been on the Adobe certified list. If you can run the first without one and your mileage may vary, but they basically say that without one, you may be limited to the non-accelere mode by GPU (software only) and does not have the key word here - performance.

Today the top models MBP have discrete GPU, Apple estimated that everyone does not need to edit the video and that, if you do, it should be a no-brainer to spend the extra $1,000.

You didn't say what you're trying to change the media. HD? 4K? XDCAM, H.264, H.265? You can see improvement if transcode you to a friendlier codec like ProRes and DNxHD... and certainly do not expect color to work with 4K media on this laptop.

In addition, work on the ground full quality? Try the half or quarter.

    Your RAM is sufficient.

  • CC of Photoshop export JPEG color problem

Hey guys. So, for some time, I found that my new CC Photoshop played upward. This has caused me a lot of grief when going to collect my professionally printed photos. The color of the jpeg only does not come out right. When recording in TIFF format, the amount of the fine, but when saving to JPEG, the color of it goes to the dirt. It looks good in the Viewer Windows photo or regardless of either the program, but when put in full screen, transferred to a printer, played on a phone or seen on the web, it is almost as if it lacks the 'Reds' of the colors section. In any case, I really need help. If I take the saved TIFF and export it to JPEG in Lightroom, it'll be all right. The two images are below. I hope that the difference in color comes up. If this is not the case, if you think you know what problem I have, I'll send you pictures.

    DSC_05667.jpgScreenshot (1).png

You probably have the image that contains the tag color space Adobe RGB or ProPhoto. Seen on color management applications, it will look fine, but unmanaged applications will process the profile as sRGB, the smallest common web standard, the colors are cut and it's why it darkens. You must convert to sRGB, if your target is the screen.

When you save a jpeg file, try this: file > export > save for Web and see if the parameters below helps.

  • Lightroom edit in photoshop 16-bit to 8-bit color problem...

I see a problem of version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC 2015.3 color. I don't know if this problem existed before or if it is a matter of color. I would like to understand what is the good cause.

In Lightroom, when I choose to change no matter what version, (copy or original), in Photoshop 2015.1.1, then copy the layer or layer drag over to the doc from 16-bit to the 8-bit to 16-bit doc converted the color difference is very different. There is a large amount of green and the color does not match. I'm not positive if it is a question of bit of color or not, but it seems to me that it is. I was able to avoid this color shift by placing embedded, which helps to work around this issue. I prefer to be able to copy and paste into this important PSD instead of placing well.

    LR-PS-ColorProblem.jpg

What is happening here is that you have a ProPhoto with Lightroom image and somehow you assign (no conversion) sRGB for her.

This is what that looks like, and that's exactly what your screenshot shows:

I have no idea how it goes - a copy/paste normal will convert the file pasted into the color space of the source document, and you won't see any change of color.

One exception is if you paste a screenshot. A screenshot is in the monitor color space, but has no profile, so he will change appearance when you paste.

The other explanation I can think of is that if you have disabled color management "" in Photoshop - then all sorts of strange things unpredictable that can and will happen. So is that what you have changed something in the Photoshop color settings?
