Where's the old existing color in cs3. Trying to match some clips but not excellent results as the former, any ideas?

  • Shift: To match a PMS on paper not icy?

    Hi, please help/advise

I am new to offset printing, working for a church that creates a great new graphic identity. I work with a graphic designer local to print our newly designed items, and the first point, we sent to print was a small envelope to give money. Our Creator has shown us a digitally printed evidence that seemed very close to our color, PMS 268 C. But, once they have been offset printed, they were much lighter, near PMS 268 UC. I was very disappointed and realized I should have asked coated stock, and I feel my designer is responsible for not mentioning this me / showing me a misleading evidence. Now we need to get a letter printed head, and she told me to match a solid color lining we use glossy paper (she told glossy coated =). It's amazing to me that a digital printer can produce deeper and richer colors on uncoated offset media in paper. Of course, I don't want a glossy, but I can't settle for a such inaccurate colour match. Is there something that I am missing? Our designer did something wrong? Is there anyway to get a match for a coating color on paper lying or at least no ice?

    Thank you

    Dalton

I wanted to just follow this post incase someone else knows what I went through last year.

I read on paper coated with a matte finish, is the solution? Is this something that is commonly used?

The answer is absolutely not. Paper coated with a matte finish is as paper magazine, and a lot of people mistakenly refer to any paper lying as "glossy", where my confusion. Letterhead on any coated paper is unusual.

It's amazing to me that a digital printer can produce deeper and richer colors on uncoated offset media in paper.

Yet, but it's surprisingly true. Digital printers can achieve because the ink is located at the top of the page instead of soaking in.

Is there anyway to get a match for a coating color on paper lying or at least no ice?

Other than colors that turn out well in CMYK digital as I have just mentioned, no, at least not to my knowledge.

The error with the envelopes used the number 268, because (as John mentioned) 268 UC isn't necessarily the best match at 268 C, this is the same recipe of ink.

So, if you are in my position, print digitally, or choose the best match from the uncoated color swatch.

  • Using a mixture changes color.

I drew two circles.  I did another form to connect the two circles and copied this form.  Then I deleted the edges of the shape leaving two curved paths that affect the two circles.  Then I mixed the two lines to try to make the colors of the two circles of a gradient.  I then used the Moose shape as a mask of connection.

    Blend02.jpg

My problem is that the ends of the mixture are not dark enough, so there is a change of sudden color of the circle to the mix.  How do I get the beginning and finishing colours match the circles?

    Thank you

    Martin

    Martin,

Your work with lines causes the paler Moiré.

You can fill and none related, and assuming the same number of anchors in the two finish, none between the two:

    (1) give the intermediate form is color, copy twice in the face and hide the two copies;

    (2) modify the original for other color, copy it to the front and move the new copy a little (1 pt, 0.1 mm or something like that) to the other end;

    (3) with the two selected copies, Pathfinder > less before (subtract from shape area by pressing Alt/Options in older versions);

((4) see the/select the first copy of 1) as well as 3) and object > blend > make.

((5) see the / select the second copy of the 1st) as well as 4) and object > clipping mask > make.

  • HP Photosmart 6520 paper set-match using previously coloured certificate

I bought a pristine certificate previously colored, and she has a blue border, dark on the left side and the rest is mainly yellow (a certificate of landscape). With the help of Powerpoint 2013, running on Windows 7, I tried to print a text on the certificate and the printer rejects the paper with an error message that the paper size is a bad match.

    The certificate is 8.5 x 11 in.

If I print on standard 8.5 "x 11" white, it prints very well.  I have to assume the printer sensor think is not 8.5 x 11 (due to the dark blue color, maybe).

Is there a way to substitute and print anyway?

    Welcome to the forums, ZekeKS1!

I saw your post on certificates of color printing. I suggest trying to print to the quick project to see if this will help. The sensor can be confused with the borders.

Click on start, devices and printers, right-click on your printer and select Printing Preferences and select Fast project.

    Good luck

  • PS elements 11 - wrong colors, color doesn't paint not matching colour - Help please!

Having a weird problem with colors. What I have in my brush/paint bucket color does not match the color that I picked up in my eye dropper color / in the foreground. Instead, he painted on a watered down version of the color I use, and I have no idea why. I tried to look for a solution - I reset the brush, all the tools. And I don't no layer style located on the said layers used.

Any ideas how I could solve this problem? I also desperately need... And as a note, I use RGB color.

Suggest that you reset the Brush tool. On the tool options bar, looking for this:

  • vision support rewriting model for image match

Hey guys, im using labview to detect a picture and record its x - y coordinates.

does anyone know how I can automatically change at runtime, the model used for the match.

I get my model of the block Vision Assistant

    Please please help

    Kevin

    Hey Kevin,

If you configure the Vision Assistant block and place it on your block diagram, you can then right click on it and select "Open Front Panel."

This shows you the LabVIEW code that the Express VI is running behind the scenes. From here you can find any parameters you have set, put down as constants. So for example, the file path you chose for the template is on the block diagram as a file path constant.

You can right click on this and change it to a control, and then link this control to the connector pane
    Reference: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361H-01/lvconcepts/building_connector_pane/

After saving this VI, and closing it, you will notice some changes to your main VI. Firstly the vision assistant block will have changed colour to yellow, and secondly, it will have one more input added to the bottom (if you drag it down) which is for the control you set in the subVI.

The attached example then adds a case structure to select the file path you want to use as a template during runtime. It would be better practice to use an event structure, but hopefully this works for demonstrative purposes.

Let me know if this helps out Kevin.

  • Screen color to match purchased software color

Hello. I bought and installed PC point 10, a cross stitch pattern, making program. The problem I have is that the silk on-screen colors do not match the colors of silk in real life. It was suggested that the problem is with my colours on the screen. Is it possible that I can change or change the colors of my screen to correspond to reality? I have Windows 7 Home Premium. Thank you, Kathy

I would say up calibration screen on google.

the best way would be to buy a kit of equipment of calibration which will have a unit to put on your screen and a program that sends the on-screen colors, bed in the hardware unit what colours are displayed.

It then creates a file that will load windows when the computer initializes and sets the colors of the screen in what they should be.

I run this calibration regularly to make the screen display colors for photo editing.

Bingo, yes of course since I LR working color space! To test, I converted a 0-0-255 red image with colour profile Adobe RGB in PS using ProPhoto RGB with the Gamma of 2.2. The RGB values are 222, 103, 46 or percentage 87.1, 40.4, 18.0%, which is very close to the values observed in LR (87.6, 40.7, 16.7%). As you say this is quite normal.

On the question of the OP with the Epson printer profile I suspect it's also normal because of the loss of gamut.  JasonBatley what Epson printer profile are do you use and what do you mean by "the colors look terrible? When you Soft proof in LR with the Epson profile more precisely what are "visually" see you it is different (not numbers)?

Can't get Lightroom to print match my monitor even after calibration

    Hi mariusc,

When you say that printing does not, what exactly are you seeing? Your impressions too dark, or is it a color shift?

Can you tell us in detail the process that you use to print the images from Lightroom? Lightroom handles colours? You have color management turned off in the print driver? There are many possible factors here, so we'll have a few details and we will try to help.

Here is an example of the LR print Module. I have:

    1. Choose a printer/paper for my specific device profile and paper instead of "Managed by printer."
    2. I have disabled color management in the printer driver dialog box

Your printer driver and profile selections will be probably different from mine.

  • Hexidicimals of color does not match

I created a gradient in Firefox, it has exported to Dreamweaver and now have on my model. I typed in a value of default background color to match the shade of final, the darker the gradient to give me this smooth transition expected to one of the pages of the site run long. When I test the model on Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera, the page looks great. But I'm afraid that the background color of image (IE, the imported range) and my default background color do not match in Dreamweaver Split or design mode. In Dreamwever, it is clear where the image into slices ends and starts the background color.

Put some numbers on it: in Firefox, I started the gradient with #CC9933, then set the filter of brightness/contrast (brightness - contrast - 8, 81). This gives me the image I want, with #80510F as the darkest shadow at the bottom of the slope. But when I type in my head of Dreamweaver as my background color, shadow is * much * more light (in Split and Design mode, it is. Not when I saw with a browser).

To add to my confusion, I checked the background and the gradient in Dreamweaver with a color picker. The picker Dreamweaver reads down the slope as #81510F (not of #80510F, like Firefox, read it) and the background as #8F651C (even if the header contains always #80510F). When I typed in the number of the color appropriate and clicked on apply, I got this message: "Auto does not part of standard for this CSS property values." Use anyway? »

Putting aside the divergence of #80510F #81510F vs, I fear that the transition between the color and gradient background will not work on other computers or browsers. It was my understanding that the 'web safe' colours were a thing of the past. I had read in some books that any color is good on any browser and any modern computer. But now I wonder. Dreamweaver says that the color I want my default background not a color safe?

Maybe I make a lot of noise for nothing. As I said, the model looks a lot when I saw it. But that's just watch with my Mac on some browsers. How will a PC, or the Internet Explorer browser, make my pages? I'm not so worried if this isn't exactly the same color. I don't want a gradient that don't happen smoothly in the background color.

And when Dreamweaver says that code hexadecimal color "is not one of the standard values...". Use anyway? ', I say "Yes '?"

Yes.  Security Web (256) colors are obsolete.  Full-color (true-bit) spectrum are supported by almost all modern web devices.

  • PANTONE 542 does not match

    Hello

    I work with an old Illustrator file I also inherited, I use CS3. A color with Spot 542 HVAC box breaks down as C = 76, M = 23, Y = 0, K = 5. In the book of pantone CS3 color it is C = 62, M = 22, Y = 0, K = 3. I need new hardware color with a spot color that corresponds to that task than no CMYK and I need to be able to give color to a printer.

    Thank you

As Jacob says, you can play with spot colours CMYK values. As long as the spot color are printed from separate plates the final results depend entirely on what mix ink printer drool on his machine. But if a spot color must be converted to CMYK CMYK values matter insofar as the spot > conversion process is concerned. I always check the CMYK values comparing them to a printed color guide.

In an old 1992 color guide Pantone 542 is given as CMYK: 23.5, 0, 76, 8.5. In a more recent (2001) version it is abandoned in 62, 22, 0, 3 so you can see the CMYK mix changed along the way.

If you are working on a new project using the latest version. If you try to match the old work - pre-2000-ish - (or require a reprint with minor changes) use the old version, but only if Pantone must be converted to the process. Otherwise it does not matter because you are stuck with dirt which blends the printer for you. This is why you should not trust virtual events. A visit to the printing press is still the best way to verify that he did things the way you want.

  • Number of matches between two columns

    Column1 Column2
    5 5
    5 2
    5 5
    4 3
    4 4

    3

I basically you want to compare two columns and count matches in the corresponding lines. I tried using the following formula:

    SUMPRODUCT (--($column1=$column2))

... but it doesn't work! Any suggestion?

    Tiago,

It seems you are trying to use array formulas (maybe since excel?) who do not work in number.

Here's how I would solve this problem:

Make sure that the table where data is named 'Data' (as shown, or change the table name references to match your table name)

    Add a new column (C)

    C2 = AND (A2 = B2, A2≠ "")

It's shorthand dethrone select cell C2, then type (or copy and paste it here) the formula:

    = AND(A2=B2, A2≠"")

    Select cell C2, copy

Select cells C2 at the end of the C column, paste

the formula say to check to see if the cell in column A is NOT empty, and is equal to the cel in column B

Now in the summary table (single cell table):

    A1 = COUNTIF (Data::C, TRUE)

    First try these steps

    1. Make sure that your device iOS and Bluetooth Accessory are close together.
    2. Make sure your Bluetooth accessory is on and fully charged or connected to power. If it uses batteries, test them to see if they need to be replaced.
    3. Restart your Bluetooth accessory.
    4. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
    5. On your iOS device, go to settings > Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is on. If you cannot turn on Bluetooth or you see a spinning gear, restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.
    6. Pairing the Bluetooth accessory, replace the accessory in detection mode, then pair and connect again.

If you still cannot match or connect your Bluetooth accessory

Check with the manufacturer of Bluetooth to make sure that your accessory works with your iOS device.

Contact the Apple Support if you have any of these problems:

    • You can't turn on Bluetooth or the setting is gray.

  • Return all column names of the cells that match a value in a single cell

I want to be able to scan all the cells in column 1 in column 3 (there could be several) which belong to the same line and check if they all have a value y (X). If they have no value, I want all columns to display all the names of the matching columns as follows: "column 1, column 2" for Elemento.

This can be a good start:

    B2 = if (counta (C2) > 0, C$ 1, "" ") & IF (COUNTA (D2) > 0', ' & D$ 1," ") & IF (COUNTA (E2) > 0', ' & E$ 1," "") & IF (COUNTA (F2) > 0', '& F$ 1,' ')

It's shorthand dethrone select cell C2, then type (or copy and paste it here) the formula:

    = IF (counta (C2) > 0, C$ 1, "" ") & IF (COUNTA (D2) > 0', ' & D$ 1," ") & IF (COUNTA (E2) > 0', ' & E$ 1," "") & IF (COUNTA (F2) > 0', '& F$ 1,' ')

    Select cell B2, copy

Select the cells B2 the bottom of column D, dough

To add additional columns, you copy the atomic unit:

    & IF (COUNTA (D2) > 0', '& D$ 1,' ')

and update D2 with the new column and D$ 1 with the new column.

then... If you add a new column (G, for example) that you want to change it:

    and IF (COUNTA (D2) > 0', '&D$1,' ')

    TO

    and IF (COUNTA (G2) > 0', "&G$1," ")

and the updated formula would be:

    = IF (counta (C2) > 0, C$ 1, "" ") & IF (COUNTA (D2) > 0', ' & D$ 1," ") & IF (COUNTA (E2) > 0', ' & E$ 1," "") & IF (COUNTA (F2) > 0', ' & F$ 1,"") & IF (COUNTA (G2) > 0', '& G$ 1,' ')

    fill down like before

The following steps can help (try again after each):

    • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > general > use > software update - remove any file update, if one is displayed.
    • Delete all profiles beta (on your iPhone and/or the watch), then restart both devices (this applies only if you have already participated in a program of Apple Beta software).
