• Enter key down and write a simultaneous control

  I am creating a dialogue with a field with behavior such that, once the user fills in the field and press the Enter key or return the new value is returned.  However, the problem that I am running is the key down event cancels the entry to the control doesn't happen.  I can't use the event value change because the user has the choice to leave the same fair value press enter (without change).  Any ideas or suggestions?

  I have several buttons on a screen. All work now with: 1. click on Trackpad 2. Touch-click 3. Enter-click

  I want each button to be able to do two things:

  1. a thing with an ALT-activate(by any of the three ways as seen above)

  2. a normal else activate (by one of three ways as seen above)

  Dominant Navigation click would not however to ALT-Enter and Alt-Touch(The way I want it is that these two do #1 from above too). Correct or not?

  In the simplest possible terms:

  Each button will make a specific thing turn on and another thing different specific on ALT-putting into service.

  Right now, they work absolutely fine to do a thing. But I'll try to find a way to make them also to do something else on ALT-putting into service.

  I think if I can somehow make a way to get the true/false if ALT is pressed during a change of field and then do an if/then based on this information in each fieldChanged method so I should be good.

  Update: well, I got the errors go away with your code above. At least press Alt-Trackpad works. I'm going with it. Thank you!

• How to separate the 'down' key panel and digital control

  Hi all

  I have a key to proecess vi events for Panel and a digital control in this Panel. the app will do:

  1. when the Panel is focused, allows the user 'up' and 'down' to the driver of some hardware.

  2. when the digital control is activated, 'up' and 'down' change its value as usual.

  somehow the other did not, because the round table 'touch down' was trigger as well when I use «to the top "'down' key aminata CNC.»

  Then, I used "Key down?" digital control to block the "up/down" key But the first time, when I run the Vi, the Panel always got triggered only once.

  any suggestions on this? test code attached to this post too.

  It works for me in 2014.  In short, you just need to check to see if your digital has the focus.  If it isn't, then you treat the value of the key.  No need of any other event here except the stop button.

  It intercepts all keys.  But there are nodes on the left side of the structure of the event for the tank or scan code. They will tell you which is pressed.  You can compare it to your character or scancode of interest and if they match, run the code in a housing structure.

  We have HP 9470, 2170 and 8570 enrolled in our environment.

  All computers are installed with a standard image of Win7 and SSM of HP tool for installing drivers.

  It now turns out that none of them don't function with the key Win + Tab (switch between Windows Aero) combination.

  Also, we have several types of Dell laptops, all installed with the same image, but of course have Dell specific drivers installed. They all work with Win + Tab key.

  Everyone has experienced the same or have suggestion of solution?

  You are not able to use the Win + tab feature.

  1. Go to start
  2. Typeadvanced system settings
  3. Hit enter
  4. Click advanced
  5. Click setting under performance
  6. Scroll down and make sure tha t Activate the composition of the Bureauis checked 

  Also, you can hold the ALT key and press tab for the same affect.

  You may have accidentally entered mode 'Keyboard Navigation. The F7 key will toggle "Keyboard Navigation" on or off.

  Hi all

  I have a digital control in a tab control. Both of them have their own events 'mouse-down' in a while loop. But when I click on the digital command, instead of raising the event of digital control only, both of these two events fired.

  Maybe I can check if the mouse is in the range of digital technology to filter events, but if the window is resized, I have to recalculate the range once again.

  Is there another way to do it?

  Side note: I really don't like the controls on the tab and use them very rarely.  And the few times I use them, it is for tabs to which I often use to select among the screws to put in a secondary school.

  An event using 'touch down' / structure, my reacts on any vi event. Now, I call this vi dynamically by an another vi and load its façade in a panel of sup on the Panel of the calling vi. When running on a panel of sup, the detection of events of the called vi is no longer in effect. How can I save the vi called for the event 'touch down '? I played a bit with the registration of dynamic events, recording aspects of the vi calling to the node for event registration, but yet I have not found a solution.

  Looks like you have 2 structure current events consecutively, if it is a no no. To run an event structure on an external event structure vi must be dynamic, as you mention above. I would like to check that I'm using the right reference of vi to the node of structure dynamic event block diagram.

  After you install BlackBerry10Simulator-Installer-BB10_0_06-384-Win-201207130120.exe on Windows XP (Vmware player 3.1.3), I can't select the Panel of configuraiton of 'Security' with Down and Up the keys on the keyboard, because "Screen" is the last item on the screen.

  I use a computer thinkpad notebook and always use the navigation button (red button), so I now have to use a mouse.

  There must be a simple solution for this, but it's Friday afternoon, and my brain is not cooperating.

  I create a simple terminal through which a user can interact with an instrument. My question is about the only query string control. The button send and the Terminal Table are here for reference.

  

  Here is my desired behavior:

  (a) the user types a command in the field of the query, tape input or return. An event is triggered, and the request is sent to the instrument. The focus remains on the field in the query.

  (b) with any other action the interface user, the user types Enter or return again and again, by triggering an event that sends the request to the instrument every time Enter or return is typed. The focus remains on the field in the query.

  Here's what I have:

  

  This allows for one), but fails to b). The reason is, because the value of the field in the query has not changed, change value event does not fire when the user starts to spam keys enter or return. There is a way around this, as suggested by this post. Here is the solution in a few words:

  

  Instead of looking for the change in the value of the query command, the event fires for each key event to the bottom of the control and resembles a pressure of enter key or return. What attracts the user action, even if the content of the field of the request have not changed. The problem with this approach is that, when this event fires, I need to read the value of the query string order and send it to the instrument, but the value I get via the local Variable query is the old value, probably because the key down event fires before the value of query is saved as changed. Is there a way to programatically "enter" the contents of the control channel so it is recorded as a change in value, until I have the question via a local Variable? Is there a different way I should go about it? I'd rather not do anything that bound the input keys or return to this particular area, since I have many other UI elements that need these keys in my program.

  I thought about it.

  (1) control of the string (query) a value of update while typing.

  Go to Edit/shortcuts...

  Then where it says "shortcuts to: ', pull down the menu drop down and select"request Menus.

  Then expand the category of 'Window' and from there to the bottom, you will find 'Properties' - give a keyboard shortcut.

  for example, I read a Web page, when I push the bottom of the keyboard Page, sometimes nothing happens.   Please check if still use the keys cursor to navigate through the pages is selected in Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Advanced > general and uncheck. This setting can also be turned on/off by pressing F7.
