  Hi all

  I have several daily reminders to appear on my PC but I don't want that they pop up on my phone and don't I want notifications by e-mail on my phone, so I unchecked both in the Google sync account on my phone, but they still continue... actually even the daily calendar events that I deleted on my PC are always popping up on my phone.

  T-Mobile gave the usual to remove the battery and restart Council but still the same thing.

  I want to be able to access a current calendar and Gmail but not pop-up on my phone... advice?

  Open the calendar application and click on the menu button. Select more > settings > set alerts & notifications, then select 'off '.

  You can also check the synchronization settings while your in the application by pressing the menu button and then selecting "calendars".

• BlackBerry Z10 Z10, problem with Gmail and BIS

  I just got a new Z10 and had all configured to discover that my primary e-mail service, Gmail, does not work if the only internet access is through the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS).

  When I configured first, I got Wi - Fi active (other than BIS, I don't have a data plan as my main focus is email). As it was my 3 services e-mail (Gmail, Hotmail and my prived ISP service) all the connected without problem. It was only after I turned off WiFi that I discovered that while my other two services work fine, my Gmail account has become "not connected".

  I tried everything I could think of, including delete my Gmail account, do a reboot cold and then try setting up the account to new as well as doing a reset complete, I could start over again. All to nothing does not. Only if the WiFi is on what can I cannect to Gmail and that doesn't help me if I don't have a Wi - Fi service.

  Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might try?

  You may be right about Gmail not supporting ActiveSync, but on the device the Z10 was supposed to replace (Torch 9860 running os 7.1.0) no problem with Gmail and BIS, so there must be something unique about BB10 on the Z10.

  BIS is not used on BB10. BB10 access directly servers of e-mail now.

  Have you tried to configure gmail so that the signal from the carrier and not on wifi?

  Pretty much like what it says. Previously synced 100% with laptop computer (iTunes, photos, videos, etc.) which now shows the blue screen of death permanently.

  If I now go back to iCloud synchronization / backup on my phone, will I have all since it's all on my phone to start?

  Portable ITunes was there music I ripped and realize that is probably a separate issue. I have off-site backup which I can access once I get a new laptop.

  You can activate the backup to iCloud and it backs up your phone as it is currently. See following information from backups for iOS - Apple Support devices for details of what is included:

• Synchronization with iCloud and pictures problems

  I recently discovered I was missing a few old photos Photos Apple and iCloud. It's about a years of photos from 2014. I think they disappeared right around the time Apple dropped iPhoto and switched to the photo program. I was able to locate the photos in my old iPhoto Library and was able to import them to Apple pictures - so I have them on my computer - but they are not automatically synchronized to iCloud.

  I would like to have all my photos stored in iCloud - I searched the FAQ and user forums but could not find a description of this particular problem.

  a few thoughts - but with so little information we can only make assumptions

  1 - get up-to-date - you say you have OS X 10.10.5 - you are six updates behind - the latest version is El Captain OS X 10.11.6 - it have many bug fixes and many new features

  2 communicate. us your iCloud and on Mac and on every IOS device status settings

  3 - iCloud is not a backup, is a synchronization service - you need a system with the downloaded original and a backup in addition to the iCloud photo library

• Isn't new incompatible Flash with Gmail and YouTube?

  I installed the beta Master CS 5 today and noticed two confusing differences in my computer. (In addition to requiring more than 15 GB of hard drive!)

  First - Advanced features document attachment in Gmail and the ability of see the progress bars when you attach files to messages and attach several files at once to a message from Gmail, has stopped working. I have a white box where the link "attach a file" used to be. Gmail, this feature requires Flash. Once I returned to the base feature (and turned off the features of Flash-person in charge), I was able to attach files again.

  Second - all the videos of YouTube, no matter where I link to them, now appear as just a vibrant pink box full of big pixels. Sound works but the video is scrambled pink squares that move erratically.

  Does anyone know if its Flash or another part of the new Creative Suite 5 master which is not playing well with the YouTube video?

  VLC and QuickTime still work OK.

  Mac OSX 10.6.3 on old iMac 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.

  Hello everyone,

  I always have problems with gmail Auto-Sync customer stock, it does not, even on account of outlook in a single application. I tried everything to find the right way, but nothing. It syncs if my display is on, otherwise not. I thought it was due to gmail app not correct installation options, after reading some reviews on the sony forum support, I realized that this is global problem.

  I tried to do some advic on this forum but without success.

  Do you get notifications Gmail ok but not outlook (on the Gmail app) account?

  Settings > sound & notification > when the device is locked > view all content of notification > app notifications > Gmail > priority

  I tried the sync gmail as shown in Palm response to this minor problem. I followed the instructions, but no contacts appear in my gmail account. Yes, I have the latest update.

  I was totally wrong. I thought you could synchronize my contacts FROM my palm Pre TO my gmail account. After the cat (India based tech support?) I was told this isn't how it works.

  Basically, the tech said we can't do it and to seek a third-party program to do.

  Please, go to the Help menu in Muse and select "updates... "then select Muse in the Creative Cloud Desktop app and update. (The 2015.1.1 update comes to live this morning, so your Muse and CC probably haven't noticed, again.) The update includes a fix for this error.

• Synchronization with GMAIL "all mail".

  I do almost all my email through Thunderbird or K9 (Android)... only connect to GMAIL once a month or two. Today I just found out that my Gmail "all mail" had > 12 000 emails. According to the GMAIL Help Center, this folder is a collection of any shipment and receipt that has not been removed. In my case, most of the emails in that folder were e-mails received and deleted while in TB. I know what I have tested the two TB & K9. K9 worked as expected. Whereas deleting an email TB took the mail from the GMAIL Inbox, but there not 'delete' in the folder all the messages.

  I have a TB (v24.6.0 on Win7) defined as follows:

     Server type is IMAP
     "When I delete a message" is set to "remove it immediately"
     "Clean up ("Expunge") Inbox on Exit" is checked
     Messaging Archives is not checked
  

  'All messages' folder in of any ideas on what I should do to get TB to clean up Gmail?
