• convert to smart object resolution problem

  Hello

  I work for the video game UI and because of that, my photoshop documents always needs to have a resolution of 72 dpi.

  My current problem is that when I convert a few layers to a dynamic object by using the launch of "convert to smart object" menu, Photoshop always gives this new file a resolution of 300 dpi.

  It is very annoying and I don't find in the preferences a way to define a specific resolution of the dynamic object.

  Changing the resolution after the creation of the dynamic object is not a solution (it's a slow process, I need to repeat each time a new smart object is created and the smart object is expanded in the parent document)

  Create a new document with a specific resolution and drag it as a smart object to my parent document is also a slow process, that I can't use as my work files contains many of these intelligent objects.

  So, is there a solution, I'll be very happy to know.

  Why is that game and poster that matches are played do not follow the ppi. Billboards is manufactured with different PPI and none that I saw the card to have a resolution of 72 dpi. Why the 72 DPI is so important in your workflow?  Are you sure you all image files are recorded with a resolution of 72 dpi setting?   I think the number of pixels you have images and objects, it is what would be important for the games.

• Pathfinder problems after update Illustrator CC

  Is anyone else having problems with the tools of pathfinder after updating to the latest verstion of CC? I can't join, split or cut paths with generally predictable results. Any advice?  Is there a way to disable the living corners?

  Problem solved... (Pilot error). I was working on a work plan that has been way too small 145px x 145px and recovered a few funky alignment problems after dividing paths. I brought everything back to a size of reasonable and everything work fine. Too many hours behind the screen today.

• CS6 CC 3D mode PS - can not move object once - problem/question

  I'm working with a .obj file object in Photoshop CS6 CC 3D mode. I can move the object once with the tools in 3D mode, but then the camera window Viewer Exchange and I can manipulate the object more. When I try to move the object a 2nd time, the display of the object becomes black with a bunch of the grid transparency around him.
  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I had a similar problem... I've updated my NVIDIA driver, and it solved the problem.

• Pathfinder problems

  Illustrator CS5 v15.1.0 (Mac)

  Ideas v1.2

  I created work in Adobe ideas and now try to transfer this work in Illustrator, specifically in the hope of collecting/combine the large surfaces of paths (?). I don't know what effect it may have, but the paths have different line thickness and some seem to be 'open' to use the Eraser tool (in ideas).

  In the image as an attachment, the left side is a segment of the original intact. The right side is the result after using the command Add/unit of Pathfinder. I have chosen so that the lines are slightly visible and circled the most obvious areas of distortion in red.

  Anyone know what is the source of this distortion?

  Additional notes:

  Another similar thread suggests uncheck "align to pixel grid" in the processing window. It was disabled before applying the Pathfinder added, however, the box shows a dashboard after the operation. Don't know what this means, but my guess is a mixture of conditions.

  Also, "Scale Strokes & Effects" was ticked in preferences, resulting in only a slight modification. Some areas improved, while other regions worsens.

• Object library problem

  This is a first post here because I can't find anything to solve my problem, I'm sure I'm right on something simple!

  There was a recent update with Livecycle Designer ES 8.2 and now my object library box is completely empty!

  I tried to restore the default items in the drop down in the library of objects, restart the PC, min/max under the drop-down window, but nothing seems to work so all my quick links (Favorites, standard and custom) are all gone from the right had side-table of the object library.

  Can someone help me?

• ItemRender creates 2 of each object. Problems of variable height TextArea

  Ok. I'll start with what I was trying to explain how I found myself here. I tried TextArea with no scroll bar that resized at the height of the text. Googling, it seems to be the solution to do this is to expand the text box and use something like

  to calculate height. It works, but then I put the component (WrappedText) in a DataGrid control and used an itemRenderer on it and things went wrong.

  What I see is that there are TWO WrappedText objects with just a line in the DataGrid control is created. The only difference when I go back is their parent, for example if I this.toString () in the creationComplete

  The problem this causes is one of these objects a numlinesrequired equal the number of characters in the text. The other has the correct value (1). So what happens is the dataGrid Gets the wrong height.

  I've trimmed everything down so there is only one line in the table etc. Here is the trace output. FACT is creationComplete of the WrappedText and RESIZE is when it recalculates its size (when the text is printed) and HEIGHT of the GRID is displayed by the creationComplete of the DataGrid

  So my main question is this is a reasonable approach or y at - it another way not what I want? That is to say. a DataGrid that contains blocks of variable height, word wrapped text?

  Also, can someone explain what is happening here so I understand what I am doing wrong, for example why 2 objects will be created?

  Note that the NUM LINES changed and the RESIZING is done after the creationComplete of the grid.

  An explanation of the foregoing would be nice so why dumping simply the object causing completely different behaviors?

  The creation of two converters maybe because the DataGrid creates additional converters purely for the measure. I think that this only happens if variableRowHeight is set to true. If you take a look at the source of the DataGrid and search for 'calculateRowHeight()' you will see that it calls the method "getMeasuringRenderer()" on each column to calculate the height of each row.

  Your measurement problem can be because the width of the measurement converter is not set with the same value as the width of the rendering on the screen tool. I would put a breakpoint inside the method "setupRendererFromData" of DataGrid to see what the explicitWidth is defined. Looks like that the measurement converter should be set to the width of the column. Maybe set a width explicit on your column, if you do not already.

• Installation of Firefox (latest) removes Thunderbird (latest) on my Win7 64 system. Run this combination for years without problems, so far.

  When Firefox bombs Thunderbird, I re - install Thunderbird and it bombards Firefox. When I say "bombs" I mean that the Thunderbird quick launch icon turns into a generic icon and Thunderbird will not run. The same thing happens when I have Firefox running and I install Thunderbird. I did a scan for malware using Malwarebytes and Norton and my system is clean. I am able to run the Chrome and IE 10 without problem. I am confused and I would appreciate your suggestions. I am running a dual boot Win 7 and 8 system no problem except for this. I have not tried on the partition of Windows 8, I use Windows 7 almost exclusively. The only other thing I can think is that it is a relatively new computer generation and I used MozBackup to transfer my files to messages and contacts from my old computer to Thunderbird and Firefox to new construction. Not sure if this could be the cause of the problem that I am experiencing.

• Is it possible to combine smart objects related with layers?

  I create in my compositions of another linked smart object layer. Now, I want to show them in my psd file main, as different States (showing the different States of the header of a Web site).  Always when I try to change the status of the dynamic object bound to the title of the Properties window, there is always change for all layers.

  Why I want to do? I want to use the smart object bound to different files.

  But duplicates of the CG with the corresponding layers applied can be used (shown and hidden) in the layers of the container document.

  Select the smart object layer, starting a free transformation (don't change in reality the transformation), in the options bar turn anti-aliasing, then validate the transformation (again, without changing anything, but the anti-aliasing checkbox).

• Object binding problem which is not serializable clustered JNDI

  I have an ApplicationLifecycleListener class that has a preStart() method that instantiates one object & JNDI binds.
  
  This object is a reference to an object that is not Serializable (progress.message.jimpl.Connection).
  
  When I bind it on a single server (without clusters), everything works fine, when I move to a clustered environment, I get the
  
  java.io.NotSerializableException: progress.message.jimpl.Connection
  
  I clear the weblogic.jndi.WLContext.REPLICATE_BINDINGS = 'false' to try and get around that, but no luck.
  
  Please can someone explain why the exception occurs in a cluster but not in a single server environment?

  As you have found the InitialContext as follows:

  InitialContext ic = new world; Which is the best way to get the InitialContext when the Code is running on the same JVM (which means same WebLogic Server) when you try to link your objects... This means that the class of the Module Loader already has the class Employee Loaded inside. That is why your code is able to bind in the same WebLogic Server.

  But when you go pass the Argument to the InitialContext as Context.PROVIDER_URL, then you could point the URL of another WebLogic Server... .then when we want to link an object to a remote JVM (WebLogic Server) in this case the object of Marshelled (serialized) be sent to the JVM (WebLogic JNDI tree)... As your employee class is not serializable if the process have will fail and will give you "java.io.NonSerializableException".

  Rule of thumb as well: * "If you want your objects to pass to a distance JVM in this case the class must implement java.io.Serializable interface."

  There is no form of raster (in the plural). There is a raster image (its shape is rectangular). The image raster does not get broken. The raster image is not "transition to the vector."

  The autotrace program just trying to draw objects entirely new and distinct - traced - forms whose try correspond to groups of same color pixels in a raster image. The defintion of 'same' depends on the user specifies parameters of sensitivity.

  I'm not picking apart you with semantics simple here. Unrealistic expectations about matrix are epidemic these days, mainly because of claims of selling overvalued.

  Fusion (Boolean union) is not logical for the railways without intersection. As long as the paths are not in reality, the distance between them has nothing to do with it. Imagine a circle of vector of one side of the page and a square of the vector on the other. What it would mean to "merge" the two forms into one?

  Without additional specific criteria, these two forms could be "merged" in your sense, in an infinite number of ways. If the accuracy of the autotrace (assigned by your settings and the real colors of the image) translates autotraced paths that don't, in fact, intersect, the autotrace will not be automatically some specific criteria to "merge" the railways without intersection.

  The only options I found that apply are if shapes overlap.

  Who has a sense, because that would be the areas of intersection itself that define the criteria by which the railways concerned are met.

  So if your autotrace is, indeed, yielding undesirable completely without intersection of the paths that you think should be a path, you must decrease the sensitivity of detection of color matrix settings so that the colors of the almost-but-not-quite-the-same pixels are interpreted as a region of contiguous color. But be aware that a change in parameters will affect matrix for the entire image, not just for this particluar region. So there may be other compromises in other areas of the image.

  Such is the nature of the matrix. It is not a clear and precise 'conversion' of a 'format' (raster) in another (vector) 'format'.

  Think of a fence of stone compared to a close of brick of the same size. Closing of natural stone is composed of stones of irregular shape, interconnected to minimize differences. The fence in brick made of rectangular bricks, same size, is perfectly attached.

  Matrix is an attempt to write a software algorithm that takes a particular brick fence (collection of same color pixel raster format) and to build an entirely new and separate stone Hedgerow (collection of traces in the form of various ways) of the same size. She does without any human intelligence or judgment artistic whatsoever as to what 'must' or 'no' be considered to be a "stone". How hard he tries to "custom chisel" each of these stones as more natual closely locking and minimize the gaps depends directly on the autotrace parameters. It's always a compromise compared to what would be done if the stones were individually carved by hand, eye and human judgment.

  Help... I'm trying to follow a tutorial create a vector image (first time) I use the pen tool to draw the curve in a an elipse shape then split as a Scout, but it adds an extra line when I hit the button the last thing the first pathfinder and fills my way instead of staying as a line that I can remove the form... anyone help please.

  Are you sure that it does not fill when you draw with the pen tool?

• Binding objects AC problem

  I have a collection of ArrayCollection variable, acData, which is completed by the Manager of the result of an AMF method call.

  acData = new collection ArrayCollection (event.result as Array);

  The acData is an AC of objects, see: acData [0] .firstName, .firstName acData [1] and so on.

  acData is also the dataProvider of a list control.

  When acData [0] .firstName gets changed, it does not reflect this change in list itemRenderer as well.

  acData is set to Bindable.

  In the Debug view, I get this:

  WARNING: cannot bind to property 'Name' class 'Object' (class is not an IEventDispatcher)

  How can I do to make the list reflects the changes of the acData objects please?

  Note: The I bind acData to the list so:

  BindingUtils.bindProperty (myList, "dataProvider", parentApplication, "acData");

  myList is a component MXML and acData is in the parentApplication.

  Note that you have provided the name var as 'dataProvider '. I could use something else to avoid confusion with the use of the name "dataProvider" Flex, as it may cause a namespace collision. Just use something like "acComponentData" to make sure.
