  Hey guys,.

  I'm on a mac (10.9.3) under FireFox 30.

  I have the old * {box-sizing: border-box ;} thing put in place on my page.} In doing so, my input placeholder text appears, but not in Chrome and Safari.

  When you click the search button, the height remains at zero with box -: border to resize-box but becomes 20px with box-sizing: content-box.

• ComboBox drop-down lists appear not at all.

  From the drop-down lists 16 FF ComboBoxes stopped to appear. I click on the element < select > on the page, but it does not display the list of < option > elements. I so use the keyboard to select an option. This always happens on all, totally ALL the internet sites.
  I tried different versions of FF: 16,17,18,19, or 22 (all night), but no difference. Other browsers show ComboBox dropdown lists correctly.
  I tried the solution on your forums, but the suggestions I've found (like disabling hardware acceleration or reload cache) did not help.
  Tell me please, how it can be fixed. Thank you.

  OK, I know where is the problem now. I have an Actual Windows Manager program changes windows rendering, so comboboxes firefox window do not work.

  The heart of the problem is the ability to place windows to some monitor at startup, it crasges comboboxes.

• The ComboBox list is jumpy

  In any version above 3.x, each item combobox on any page when opened displays items that bounces up and down slightly. It is always possible to make a selection, but boring. Also my print icon does nothing. If I reinstall my version 3.x, comboboxes all go back to the normal like my print icon. I want to stay on worm 3 for this reason, unless someone knows why this is happening.

  • Try to start Firefox in SafeMode first and see if the problem persists. If so, then the problem can be either your machine settings, or a corrupted profile. To create a new profile to test, see profile management .
  • Alternatively or in addition, you can have an extension (plugin) that is causing the problem. Try disabling all of your modules, and then restart the browser. The question of testing with all disabled add-ons. If the problem goes away, then this is one of your modules. To find out which one, allow each Add on, one at a time, restart the browser after each and try to load a page that causes the problem. You should be able to limit this way methodically.

  My mother buys a 4652 if the copy options are what she wants.

  Looks like it will be have the option to copy & print at the size of 'Real', 'Fit to Page' and sizing "Custom".

• How to activate the sizing handles in the Finder?

  My wife and I have a MacBook Pro.  We have two are all under OS X 10.11.3.  When my wife uses Finder, small handles that allow each pane of the window be re-sized (by dragging the handle).  See the items circled in red in the example attached.

  When I use Finder on my MacBook Pro, the handles do not appear.  How can I activate them?

  

  in the General preferences you have the option to always show scrollbars checked. I noticed yours didn't show as dividers.

• Is it possible to open a control of type-def as string programmaticly combobox control, change it and then close by nodes invoke/property?

  This may sound crazy; but I was looking through methods and solution properties do the following:

  1. Open a cluster of type strict-def.
  
  
  2. Add an element in a chain of the Combobox control.
  
  
  3. Register the control.
  
  
  4. Close the type-def.

  LabVIEW provides the tools to do this within its broad range of pallets?

  Second step is easy, as long as the control or parent cluster is not a strict type def.

  It's tedious, but simple using the VI server / scripting.  First of all, make sure that the elements of additional scripts are enabled in the VI server options.  Now open the typedef as you would a VI.  In the scripts, a typedef is like a VI with no block diagram, only a front panel and control.  You can get a reference to the control that you need to change in one of the following two ways:

  1. Open its containers from top to bottom, using the reference container as the entrance to the owner for the opening of the new control.
  
  
  2. Use of the crosses in the script palette VI

  In all cases, after change it, save using recording method tools and you should be good to go.  The most difficult part is to get the reference to the control.  If you are having problems, let us know.

• Clear/fill ComboBox in a Subvi?

  I am building an app with 6-8 pulldown ComboBoxes and each of them will be erased and then first met based on a file.  I wrote a small vi to do exactly what I want, but I can't understand how to pass the PropertyNode[tringsAndValues] each ComboBox to the Subvi?  I wouldn't really have to reproduce this code 6 - 8 times in my main VI.

  The first thing I noticed is that my original small VI used the Structure of sequence flat to make sure I have everything first empty the ComboBox and then fill - LabView wouldn't even accept this as a sub - VI when I tried to add to my main VI, so I'm breaking the clearing in 1 Subvi and filling in another.  I tried first to setup the VI of compensation which is when I noticed that I had found no original way of referencing ComboBox in my Subvi.

  Anyone with ideas?

  Create a reference to one of the terminals of the combobox, and then create a control from this reference.  cut and paste the control in the Sub - VI and use it as a control for the reference in the Subvi.

  are you use create-> node-> (property) property?  It's less useful: search the antiderivative of regular property node in the application control pane

  Once your Subvi accepts a ref of the comboBox, you can put your combobox 6 to 8 refs in an array and then call your subVIs a for loop.

Everything´s works fine except that the combobox control that I use is really difficult "hiring" cause it s size, not the text box, but more particularly the selector to display items. I need to make bigger somehow. Please need help how can I achieve this.

  Did you change the editing mode of the key icon to the icon of tweezers?  When you do this, you can change the individual components that make up the control.

  I am updating my combobox programmatically using a string []. It should be updated with the .csv files saved in a particular forder, but it is up to date with all the names of forder on my desk. I can't select the pirticular folder that I want to put up-to-date in my combox... I don't know what is the error that I did... coud someone help me please. Thanks in advance

  You can simply use a control path on the front panel.  Then, you type the path you want or use the browse option.  Then use the recursive list of files function to limit the *.csv files returned.
