Commits in 10g

Hi all

I'm in oracle 10 g 2.

I have a process that has instructions Delete and Update... followed in other calculations.

I have explicit is committed between most of the DML... but still the results are not compatible...

This explicit validation is sufficient enough... ot should I go with immediate writing validation...

What is the difference between them and when it is mandatory to use commit is write the immediate Option?

Thanks in advance
NU

Your data are inconsistent, because you issue commit after each DML. So what you have to do is identify your transaction and perform your validation.

Do not commit after each DML. Engage only when required.

I have a function written in java that calculates the number of pages in a report, until it is produced with jasper. The works of functions like that...

    1. I calculate the number of pages estimated in a report and put that value in a variable.

    2. If the report is very large (more than 100 pages) a dialogue window will open advising usage there will be over 100 pages you do still want to produce the report?

    3. If the user selects Yes, the report is generated in PDF format and the user can use the PDF Viewer to display and sent to a printer.

The steps above are currently made in java but I have a problem with the response object already committed when the user selects 'Yes' in the 'NB of pages' dialog box that opens. The report is not feed set up servlet back to send the report to the client. The servlet works very well for pages less than 100 pages because the dialogue is not called.

How can I set up the 'NB of pages' dialog box with javascript in jdev 10g. I'm not versed with Javascript worm and try to stay away from him, but this looks like a suitable place to use it (I think).

    Any help appreciated

  • Commitment to Apple for Mac Pro line?

I have a Mac Pro (early 2008), which gave me eight years of service. Good enough. I hope that press another year out of it, put my money and then upgrade to a new Mac. My (non-Apple) local service guy tried to talk to me in an iMac and pointed out that the current Mac Pro 1) is probably overkill for 99% of what I do (photography) and 2) do has not been updated by Apple since 2013. It is #2 that concerns me the most. What is the general consensus on the commitment Appleʻs to line up of range Mac Pro?

A top of the line iMac is a very powerful computer.

4 GHz quad core i7, 32 GB RAM, 4 GB graphics, SSD 1 TB or 3 TB Fusion by car, 5K display, a 5K or two external displays 4K, 2 ports Thunderbolt.

The only benefits of the Mac Pro are:

Multiple cores CPU (low speed) and a second graphics card, which will be useful if you do a lot of video rendering.

The Thunderbolt ports more, displays more (low resolution) and a lot of simultaneous disk transfers.

I agree that the Mac Pro is excessive.  Regarding Mac Pro upgrades, until Intel releases significantly better class server CPU and 3 stroke, it is not much Mac Pro, upgrade for Apple to do.  They do not sell enough to make small annual updates is worth.

  • Re: What is the different between the NB550D-109 and the NB550D - 10G?

Hello guys. I need help on the NB550D. What is the different between the NB550D-109 and the NB550D - 10G? Is just the color?

I checked the specifications and I find no difference. Both models have the same part number, so both belong to portable computers with the same hardware configuration. Thus, the difference can be color only.

What I see is the 109 NB550D offered in more countries than NB550D - 10G.

  • Satellite T130 - 10G: Firefox does not read any video or flash content more

My Firefox does not read any video or flash content more. And in watching the news of repair troubleshooting/malfunction in Firefox under graphics, he said that "Direct2D activated" and 'WebGL Renderer' have been blocked because of the version of the graphics driver.

I downloaded a new version on the Toshiba site, but an update of the driver can not find the new version.
I had briefly solved the problem by installing the new driver from the file but it is not recognized in Device Manager.

Automatic update through Windows just tells me that the driver is up-to-date.
    I have the Satellite T130 - 10G.

Would be great if someone could help.

    Thank you!

Hmmmm... as you know Toshiba doesn't support third party software so I think that your question has nothing to do with Toshiba directly.

You find the same content with other browsers?

  • Satellite T130 - 10G Touchpad screen pointer gets stuck in random patterns

Satellite T130 - 10G Touchpad screen pointer gets stuck in random patterns and laptop computer must be restarted to restore functionality
The center of the causes of "touchpad button" toggle switch by pressing the touchpad pointer to enter a random State like two fingers to zoom.

Sometimes, he'll be back to normal, but most of the time the computer should be put to sleep or restarted to restore functionality.

    a. I tried turn off all touch pad feature one item at a time and all, he still has some weird random State.
(Did not try the impossible combination need $ to be interested but went to the 90% level)

    b. I tried disable the touch pad buttons offending and only using the mode tap the buttons and the problem still persist.

    c. Finally, tried bending the entire keyboard instead of pressing the buttons and it has also created the problem.

This leads me to believe either the power key or flexion of the entire keyboard is originally is

    a. flexion of the touch pad causing the driver getting into a crazy State or require a recalibration.

    b. electrical connections causing the driver enter a crazy State or require a recalibration of bending.

Note: I have reinstall the latest version of the driver.
Also: American Toshiba support site that this problem exists in the notebooks of May.

Also: The touchpad is too sensitive, which makes it very unusable!

Have you tried to install the operating system and check the functionality of the touchpad with the factory settings?
Recovery image contains tested the touchpad and right and I don't think that helps the driver installation.

    Hello

Access the BIOS and disable options like: wake-up on LAN and keyboard.
In Toshiba HW Setup I should disable the USB Sleep and Charge feature as well

The two options enabled to discharge the battery, even if the device is OFF

  • NB250 - 10G of memory upgrade question

We recently bought a number of Netbooks NB250 - 10G, some have been ordered with 2 GB of memory and others with 1 GB. For a few machines of 1 GB, 2 GB expansion modules were purchased to subsequent to 2 GB (Correct Toshiba KTT1066D3 Kingston DDR3 / 2G).

When upgrading memory is installed, when the netbook is started it turns on, then turns off, then lights up - this cycle continues. I tried a lot of modules KTT1066D3 / 2G and all do the same thing in any netbooks NB250 - 10G that were shipped with 1 GB.

Subject 2 GB modules work in subject NB250 - 10G bought with 2 GB. _No_ 2 GB modules work in _any_ NB250 - 10G bought with 1 GB.

Both the NB250-10Gs comes with 1 GB and 2 GB have same bios version (1.3) and the bios settings.

After a quick web search, this is a known issue.

    Help, please?

    Thank you very much

    Hi GarethStears,

In my view, Akuma is good and there is a compatibility problem between NB250 and what type of memory Kingston.

Have you tested original, pre-tested Toshiba modules authorized service?

  • N550D - 10G is it worth to upgrade RAM and OS?

I am about to buy a N550D - 10G but am not sure whether or not it is worth upgrading the OS Win7 HP and memory at 4 GB or stick with Win7 Starter and upgrade to 2 GB.

All the advice from someone who did or would be appreciated.

Well, more RAM means your laptop would go faster even if you want to use several applications at the same time, so 4 GB RAM is a good idea, I recommend upgrading the memory to 4 GB of RAM.

Upgrade to a higher version of Windows 7 is not really necessary if you n t really need the feutures provided with a higher version of operating system.

Here, you can compare the different versions of Win 7:

  • UK NB550D - 10G release date?

    Hi guys,.

I'm looking forward to buy the NB550D - 10G. I have read many articles and searched for about 2 weeks now, but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere.
Yes, the NB550D-109 is available on Amazon and Misco, but I'm not going to spend £300 on a ugly Brown notebook! (who decided to make it Brown, that move a bad >)<>

So, anyone know when BLUE NB550D - 10G is going to be released?

    Thank you very much!

    Hello bardok

I put t think someone here can give you the answer to your question. Your question is for the s Toshiba marketing department.
This laptop model is launched in the United Kingdom and now you must try to find the store where you can order one in blue.

To be honest Brown don t look so bad. I saw him at my dealership.

  • NB200 - 10G - how to upgrade the BIOS?

My question may be already answered after reading the posts on this topic. If someone could clarify, I'd appreciate it.

I bought my wife a NB200 - 10G and she had problems with the battery power. I followed the advice here and changed some of the settings, but not the update of the BIOS. My question is that the BIOS version is 1.2 the available update is 1.6.

Does that mean I can update 1.2 to 1.6 in a step or are there several steps to perform. ?

    Thank you very much

    Terry

    Hello

Akuma is right. You have to download the latest version of the BIOS (1.6) and start the update. This update contains all the fixes from previous updates so it of not necessary to install the previous updates too.

But before you start the update, connect the AC adapter. Disable all programs running (also, antivirus, firewall, etc.) and make sure that you are logged on as administrator.

    Good luck!

  • NB550D - 10G - Linux operating system

    I recently bought a NB550D - 10G and have not yet used.

I'm not a fan of Windows and with a new desktop PC my first impulse would be to replace the windows with some form of operating system Linux.

However, before doing so on this netbook that I want to check what the effect is likely to be on some features. I am interested in the following:

    1 Dolby Advanced Audio
    2 load and sleep USB
    3. sleep and music
    4. power management
    5. all other functions

For example, I'll be able to use the sleep function and music when running Linux, or depends on Windows or other software pre-installed?

    Hello

You probably know that Toshiba doesn't support Linux and maybe you should check some Linux forum and exchange experiences with people who use Linux. Believe me you will be have better chances of getting God's answer it.

  • NB550D - 10G - do I lose the warranty after change of HARD drive?

I would like to change the HARD drive in my Toshiba NB550D - 10G for one SSD drive.
Could someone tell me if I lose my warranty after doing this? I would also like to know evolves from 1 GB ram to 2 GB would indeed lose the warranty?

    Thanks for the help!

No, I think that you that the warranty would be unaffected if you remove and replace the HARD drive.
The HARD drive and memory are parts extensible user and replace this part will not void the warranty.

  • NB200 - 10G Touchpad behaves a bit like locking click is on, but is NOT

Brand new NB200 - 10G. Excellent except for problems touchpad netbook. When you drag a window I expect action slide stop when I lift my finger on the touchpad, but if I have too quickly and then reapply the window continues to slide. If I wait a little longer before reconnecting my finger everything is OK and the window remains where it is. It's like the ClickLock is enabled for a very short time after I lift my finger of the touchpad. But the ClickLock is definitely off.

I installed the latest driver for ALPS touchpad, which seems to have made more responsive touchpad, fewer delays and "stuttering" others reported but no effect on the above problem.

I called Toshiba UK computer laptop tech support and they advised me there were NO problems reported with keys to touch on NB200 series netbooks, but I found many reports of problems on the EU Toshiba forums and more us Toshiba forums, strange...

    Any ideas?

    THX, Ken

All you can do is to reinstall the touchpad driver or reinstall OS. Update BIOS OK can be tested too.
I mean what else can be done.

When you connect external mouse is everything is OK?
