  I searched the site for 3 days and finally found a post titled; "IAK login user and configuration MAX" on 04/21/2009 who has asked pretty much the same problem, I'm going to. I wonder if there is something new on this subject because I need a solution.

  I installed an application and the NI FP driver suite see 6.0.11. I run NI MAX and open my. File IAK, which is located in the folder/common directory as well as the executable file of my application. At the beginning I used to hit the 'Save' selection but have found since that it makes no difference, so now, I'm not hitting 'Save', but just close MAX. This process is to record the location of my. IAK file somewhere, because after that my application runs and communicates very well with my e/s.

  The problem comes when I have the new station operators connect to the computer that controls the operation of my test. the application that auto starts because it is in the startup folder "All Users" cannot communicate with inputs and outputs.

  MAXIMUM running and opening the. IAK file under each new user login then immediately closing MAX solves the problem and all is well, and this process must occur the first time that a new user connects to the computer. The post mentioned above indicates that it is a normal behavior.

  The problem is that some of my operators do well to find the power button and turn on all the morning. The application is no "Exit", "Task Manager" should be used to stop it. Login information is stored on a post-it in their portfolio, and ask them to open MAX and save the configuration is just too much for them to do - be unfamiliar with the operation at first.

  Can someone explain to me how to fix this or refer me to a validated solution?

  OK - here it is:

  It works for me under Windows 7 with FP1000 e/s on a serial Comm. port other configurations may or may be not the same in these respects.

  While logged in as a privileged user configure you application to work and communicate with the e/s using an IAK file. Create the IAK via NI MAX.

  Is the key to register of interest here: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\National Instruments\FieldPoint Explorer\Recent File List]

  The string value is: "File1"="C:\ApplicationPath\IOConfigurationFile.IAK."

  Start the REGEDT32 Registry Editor. EXE and navigate to the key just below SOFTWARE that tells of National Instruments.

  Select the key, and then right-click on it. Select EXPORT, select a path and name of the output file.

  There will be many other entries, but this recent file one is the only one that may be necessary.

  You will end up with one. REG file with the specified name that contains the following elements:

  Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

  [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\National tools]

  [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\National Instruments\FieldPoint Explorer]

  [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\National Instruments\FieldPoint Explorer\Recent File List]

  Create a BAT file under the name of your choice. Configure.BAT for example.

  This BAT file will reside in the directory of your application with your Important file and it will contain 1 line.

  This:

  REG IMPORT "C:\ApplicationPath\ConfigurationRegistryExportFile.REG" > rejconfig.log

  Place a shortcut to it. BAT file in the 'All Users' Start menu.

  Any user who connects will receive this update of the registry which will allow the driver to IO to know how to communicate with your IO.

  Replace your appropriate to the ApplicationPath, IOConfigurationFile, ConfigurationRegistryExportFile, rejconfig.log file names. The log file will be written only for in the case of an error.

• Use of custom in Veristand files

  Have not been able to find a lot of documentation related to the use of "Personal files" in Veristand.  I would like to know some examples of the types of files users have set up.  Specifically, I would like to know if you can "call" some types of models or devices personalized (i.e. for databases or configuration settings).

  Although aid is not quite fully reveal the capabilities of this feature. There are two distinct use cases that I could identify for the custom in VeriStand files option. I'm going to the list of people the more detail and show you an example.

  Make easily accessible to the driver files in the development environment.

  When a file is added in the custom files in the project section, it will have its own icon in the project and is included in the project dependencies. Having the file to display in the project is useful if there is a picture of troubleshooting or a specific document (calibration sheet, how to run a test, etc.) that you would like as your operator to have access to. For example, in the sample project, I realized, there is an added file called "TestA1_PreTestSetup.txt". Of the project (on the toolbar), the operator has the option "Open a file" (to view) or "export...". "to investigate his path on the computer of the operator.

An incorrect change tags in the XML file can lead to results and poor execution. Then move forward with caution and only make minor changes at the same time.

• Installer from 8.5 to 2010 - do not include Destinations in the installer

  In version 8.5, the destination of the installer was where you wanted to install files to go.  Usually, this would be a common directory on a file server.

  I'm looking at the landing page of properties install in LabView 2010 and I give myself is even more a choice of readers.  It looks like he now describes where the installation package is supposed to put files during its execution.

  So, how to tell him where I want the actual installation files package to go before I run it?

  Last month, my hard drive is full of unknown files. The magnitude became visible when I ran WinDirStat.

  I reduced the space allocated for the restore system to the basket and 2% to 2% Points. No significant impact.

  I stopped and restarted the system restore. No significant impact. I turned it then turn back.

  I ran MS cleaning disk before and after the change of the other Options to remove all but the most recent System Restore Point. No significant impact.

  I ran Auslogics Disk Defragmenter that revealed the paths, sizes and file names. I am unable to make a copy of the list, but it contains a ton of files, many of them up to + 400 MB. The following selection all have paths that include "SystemRestore".

  This is unusual.

  Files, and system restore points are all contained in the "hidden doubling: directory
  C:\System Volume Information\_restore {}...-
  None of the paths include the text "SystemRestore".

  Access to this directory is strictly limited by default and "WinDirStat" cannot be used to watch this directory without help.

  To completely remove your restore points and start over with a new restore point, simply turn off System Restore and then turn it back on...

  My guess is that the files that you see are not system restore area and are completely useless.  If these files are all under a common directory, try to rename this directory to something different and restart your machine.  If your machine continues to run well, then these files probably aren't necessary and can be deleted.  If your system does not work well, you should be able to start safe mode and rename the directory back.

  It is not supported because as SOA and forms & States share a common directory called oracle_common that would be

  crushed by the product. This is why we ask you to use two different homes of Middleware for installation and configuration.

  Ex: If you have installed SOA in a field and you have installed forms & reports and then the oracle_common could be crushed by

  Binary forms & reports and so there might be problem with SOA.

  Q2: how about you 2 different (one for SOA Suite) areas and the other for forms & reports on the same machine (Box) on the same installation of Weblogic?

  You can have 2 different domains but not in the same weblogic Installation according to the explanation above.

• Error of Java to install 11 GR 2

  I'm trying to download and install 11 GR 2 Enterprise Edition.   I downloaded two zip, technet, files on my server.  I extract them in a common directory.   I then click the setup.exe that is included in the package.  It seems that to open the Oracle Universal Installer.  After a few seconds of waiting, I get the pop-up message: "Java Virtual Machine Launcher - could not find the main class. Program will exit. "It's been a while since I've done an install and changed a lot.  Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?   Thank you.

  My server is running Windows Server 2003.

  Well, I answer to my own question.   I deleted the old directory, downloaded items once again, and it worked.  The problem is the last time, I opened the zip file in Windows Explorer, all the files selected and copied in the directory.  This time. I used the "Extract all" option in the menu right click Extract to the directory.   Impatience cost me once more time.  Thank you all for your comments!

  I am trying to create a model of composite picture of 43 different individual photos to be printed to 48 in. x 36 in.  This project would be identical to your common 'directory' or 'school' composite photos.  Basically, how can I do to do this and what is the best to use: InDesign or Photoshop?  To help me get started, if someone could help me to at least create the layout (with grid lines) and boxes of rectangle for images?  I have attached a photo here of what I'm trying to do... thanks!

  Hi all

  In my wisdom, I created a server with multiple disks on multiple LUNS and now I want to replicate this server on my backup on a NAS drive.  When I try to reproduce this server I get the following error message (all other disc thin servers);

  Two or more records with the same name. These disks may not be replicated to the same location. You must configure replications of disc individually.

  I can't for the life of me see a way around this, unless I can rename the VMDK?   But it seems a bit risky...

• Installation of Data Modeling

  I want to install Data Model (3.1.0.691 to be exact) in a common directory (/ usr/local/sqld_dm) and have it use multiple users.  / usr/local is mounted via NFS on the local computer, but the "sqld_dm" directory is owned by the user 'oracle '.  When the 'oracle' user he runs, there is no problem.  When another user runs, Data Modeler complains about not being able to write to files in the directory/usr/local/sqld_dm / * tree (which, of course, should not be able to do).

  Data Modeler installation on every workstation / user is not a viable solution.  And besides, it's silly.

  Is there a configuration that will allow data maker be installed in a common location and shared by multiple users?  Do I need a different version?

  (1) types of system data directory - "tools > Preferences > Data Modeler > directory of types by default.

  log 2) - "tools > Preferences > environment > journal > save logs to file"-checked and you must provide the directory here.

  It is preferable to use a version 3.1.4 or Data Modeler 3.3 (last one series 3.1.x)

  I'm trying to upgrade to 11.1.1.7.0 of 11.1.1.6.5 via a software install only on a Win2008 R2 64-bit server. Before the upgrade OBI 11.1.1.6.5 was working without any problems. I downloaded four 11.1.1.7.0 zip files and extracted through 7 - Zip in a common directory with files disk1, disk2, disk3, disk4 under the same directory parent. I run disk1\setup.exe and do the following:
  
  Step 1 of 14 - click Next
  Step 2 of 14 - click software updates to Skip
  Step 3 of the 14 - click software install only
  Step 4 of 9 - all controls receive a green check mark
  Step 5 of the 9 - Home Middleware Oracle and Oracle Home Directory have correct default entries
  Step 6 of 9 - WebLogic Server is the default
  Step 7 of 9 - structure type and Installation Directory correspond to the appropriate entries. Click the button install.
  Step 8 of 9 - once installation is click on the button in the front step I got the following error:
  
  Failed installation. Prepare SEVERUS: Session values failed because the following variables is not can be obtained from the command line or the answer file (s): MYORACLESUPPORT_USERNAME (MyOracleSupportUsername)

  Probably your database is stored on the file system ASM, using the/dev/sdb1 and/dev/sdc1. Therefore, if your database files is on ASM diskgroup 'DATA' and then all of the objects is here.

  Query V$ DATAFILE, V$ CONTROLFILE, V$ LOGFILE, V$ TEMPFILE

  FRA is used to contain backups of database then your objects are saved it too.

• Create the menu blu - ray together from scratch

  Hi all

  I downloaded the demo of first elements 11 yesterday and it am assessment for purchase.

  My first project is a blu - ray concert player.  I'm on Windows 7 64 bit.

  The project settings are:

  Square of 720 p AVCHD pixels

  1280 x 720

  29.97 FPS

  offset 30 fps timecode

  I want to create a simple menu for blu - ray (IE a HD menu) which has still a background and simple text buttons.  The top menu would just "concert to play" and "track selection" text-only buttons.  The "track selection" button will lead to a page with all the track names in the form of buttons that point on stage for each track marks.  That's all.

  I don't see that templates pre-installed, and none of them have the designation "HD" in the upper right corner.  How can I make the menu I want to?

  I'm sorry, Ben. I have no idea why the model doesn't work.

  EDIT:

  I see that you put the text file only in the common directory. Try to create a directory of category (let's call it 'Text' for example) in the common directory and put the text record only in it.

  I just did and the text pattern does just great in version 11. You can even see thumbnail previews of the model in the movie Menus workspace!

• access on oracle10g oraInventory to oracle11g

  I'm trying to install the oracle11g server in a linux machine which is already having server oracle10g. during installation, the Launcher trying to access oraInventory to oracle10g. Here, we can grant access read/write oracle11g installation of the user on the directory of the oracle10 inventory. it anything on the oracle10g software affect because oracle 10g hosts three production databases. pls suggest as explain well pls what is the purpose of oraInventory.

  No problem, you can use the same oraInventory 10g for 11g software. But make sure that you install the database software in another location oracle_home not in 10g.
  oraInventory is the common directory for all different oracle software that you install. It's like the windows "Program Files" directory.
  So if you install databases oracle, oracle, middle ware software etc., oracle application server there is an oraInventory commune, while anyone who has different oracle_homes where the software is unloaded.

  I posted this about a year, but got it works on a server of our - now on a new server, same problem and can't understand why.
  
  Very simple:
  
  We have several sites:
  
  Site 1
  Site 2
  Site 3
  Etc...
  
  Each is in its own directory structure, has its own application.cfm, etc..
  
  Each of them has a virtual mapping in IIS in a directory called COMMON, with a shared code. Within the IIS site for each site, there is a virtual directory mapping in this directory "common".
  
  Now, in the common directory, we have the coldfusion code that we want to be able to access the extended variables (e.g. application, query, etc.) of each site when it is called from this site.
  
  So in the directory CURRENT, there is a DEMAND. CFM file containing one line:
  
  < cfinclude template = "/ application.cfm" >
  
  It works flawless on a production server, but on another, we just get an error:
  
  
  Could not find the included template application.cfm.
  Note: If you use an absolute path model (e.g. TEMPLATE="/mypath/index.cfm') with CFINCLUDE then you need to create a mapping for the path using the ColdFusion administrator. Using relative paths (e.g. TEMPLATE = "index.cfm" or MODEL =""... / index.cfm "") does not require the creation of any special mappings. It is therefore recommended to use paths related with CFINCLUDE when this is possible.

  For my life, I can't understand why. On the server that works, we have no special and CUSTOM TAG PATHS, no MAPS, it works with joy--its only on this new server.

  You have a "/" mapping on a single server or the other? It is a defect
  the map that is created during installation IIRC.

  You could be there have on the working server and it must be on the
  new server or you can have on the new server and must NOT be
  Here, since it is incorrectly redirecting files or it could be to
  the two, but the points in two different places.
