• Library for commonly used VI

  Hi all

  I'm currently collecting VI commonly used for the acquisition of data, display, recording/formatting of data, etc. and willing to put them in a library. My first research lead me to use the file format standard .llb for this. I created the .llb using the option "Source Distribution" according to the specifications of construction. I chose this course library packed because LabVIEW documentation stated that the library would open access in a basket of VI library and as these VI is not always used in all my main VI, I thought that it would be preferable to having loaded them individually. So I chose .llb because of this reason. Once I built the .llb, I was surprised to see the structure of folders that I created in my project (and added to the files 'Source' in the specification of build options) did not carry in the library. All VI were right on one level, by searching for a particular VI very difficult. Is there a way to create a hierarchy of folders in the libraries, or should I use another structure, such as a packed library.

  I hope I was clear in my description, otherwise please ask questions. A pre-emptive thank you for the help.

  I will admit that I am not of the proper with WIPM.  It served my purposes very well.  And these objectives are very much in line with what you're trying to do.

  1. you put the defs of type in the same package.  Then, they are simply with the screws that use them.

  2. the package Editor is very easy to add to.

  3. the free community version will work fine.  This is the version that I currently use.

  I have a bunch of books (epub and pdf) on my SD card right now, I also have music and I expect that I could put videos on it as well. I don't expect to be able to develop applications or to store their internal data on it.

  Although I worked with dataguard for awhile I never used DataGuard broker. I know you use DG broker to have accelerated failover functionality. But we do not use it in our shop.

  In my opinion, DG broker is very useful in failover and failover operations.

  It is easier to do from a console one and only command (database failover to XXXX)

  other then connect to primary and standby and run command by command.

  I use also broker set up DataGuard when I have my database ready to go standby. It is even easier for the manual or the execution of the script.

• What is most commonly used for the Cache Timesten IMDB?

  TimesTen focuses on the description of table based on cache groups and there is no way to load a schema at the same time.
  
  Is this means that it is designed to be cached especially a small number of large tables than on the tables of any scheme, support something more similar to an application?
  
  I would like to know what is your knowledge, the more common use of timesten.
  
  Manage manually a large number of table creates problems when some force is "disappeared" to timesten creating the CG.
  
  I tried to tables from a Primavera P6 project management schema cache (187 tables and other views more, etc.). Trying the scheme has reported an error about a missing relative to a constraint). Loading of a given subset resulted in very small number of set tables cached in reality due to the lack of other related tables.
  
  
  So if timesten is a very good solution, all the necessary step to get a consistently large number of cached tables seems to be is not so effective.

  An application using TimesTen IMDB should be designed for TimesTen and the necessary hierarchy for it to load properly. Primavera is designed without a doubt not properly.

  Most people use the IMDB as a cache to environments of volume of very high transaction or in environments where peak loads exceed the ability to execute transactions directly to a RDBMS on disk.

• How to add quick access to answers commonly used keys?

  I find using a few sentences different fairly regularly in the responses and I was wondering if there was a way to make a shortcut that would allow me to paste the text without having to type this every time.
  Also, is there a quick combination of keys similarly to tag emails?

• Suggestions to save commonly used color charts

  I could save a lot of time if I had an easy way to load and update a range of shade for Premiere Pro.  Because the color picker does not include an option for the recently used colors, constantly, I type in the numeric values for customer color schemes and useful colors.  Am I missing something here?

  I have a xsl file that I use in many layout templates by importing. I have this file in the directory XDO_TOP/resource $. But when I run the report I get a file not found exception because he is looking for this file in $APPLCSF / log directory.

  I am migrating our collection of photos in Lightroom (5.7.1, OSX 10.10.2) and manually set the GPS locations that I will. A lot of pictures have been taken in the same place, for example 'home '. It would be great being able to affect the GPS coordinates for these pictures of 'home' without finding an address on the cards whenever I do an import.  Any ideas on that?

  You can do this quite easily.

  1 find the location in the map.

  2. in the left panel, click the sign "_" next to saved locations.

  3. the location of a name and set the location of the radius options and privacy (private premises is not exported).

  4. Once you have the location created, you can select several photos in the camera roll and place a check mark to the left of the name of the saving location. This affects this place for selected photos.

  Note that in the future, you can place the checkbox for locations registered without having to search or display the location on the map.

• VCS Expressway - Possible use of CPL script to block incoming IP?

  Is it possible to control the incoming call to a motorway of VCS on a known IP address? I know that I can block traffic UN-auth/auth as a source alias, but I want to allow incoming calls from only a gatekeeper (s) specific.

  Is this possible? I looked through the CPL of the admin guide section and I don't see anything pretaining to the IP, just alias resolution.

  Hi Darren,

  I think you can use CPL for this question, however, that you need to block traffic based on a specific source ip address, I suggest you use the built-in firewall of VCS Exoressway, this resource is available in the latest version of VCS, you can create firewall rules in VCS in to allow or deny certain traffic.

  Hi Ed, I don't use A B, but I can tell you that the most commonly used plugin on the web is Adobe Flash plugin, and when I look at the details of 'Question' > 'More system details' next to your message, that one is not in your list.

  To get the current Flash plugin, you can download a complete installer from the following page:

  In the first table, locate the line "browser plugin", which works with Firefox. You can use either the EXE or MSI, either should work, you do not need both.

  After downloading the installer and running, you can check that you have installed by visiting the Adobe Flash test page:

  A box should appear saying: you have the 19,0,0,245 version (I don't know why, that has commas...).

  I start up firefox, and go new. Sometimes it allows me to watch for a while. without warning mozilla not respounding computer is completely locked. I try to stop the program (mozilla) sometimes it allows me, and other times it takes several tries to stop. Mozilla said plugin - container.exe CPU high usage. Happened several times in recent weeks. I updated several times without success.

  Like most of the commonly used web plugin, Flash is the most likely the cause. I don't know why the problems increased with Flash with the combination of Firefox 41 and 19 Flash. I think that people who work.

  If you see a good reason to use Flash, and the site looks trustworthy, you can go ahead and click on the notification icon in the address bar to allow Flash. You can trust the site for the time being or permanently.

  But some pages use Flash only for tracking or play ads, so if you do not see an immediate need for Flash, feel free to ignore the notification! He will just stand here in case you want to use it later.

• Impossible to duplicate to external hard drive using the CCC

  I wanted to make a clone of my HD, because it started acting weird lately and decided not to make a clone of it when I get a new HD, but when I use ccc I select my boot drive (the one doubtful), then my drive external usb (2 TB) as my destination and copy everything BUT after 4 hours no progress but 4 points work but nothing is transferred. I formatted the external hard drive as it should be set to format less 10.8 in disk utility. So what I'm doing wrong here? Is there an easy way to do it? I think that I have V. 3.5 ccc, y at - it a bug with this version? BTW, my external hard drive is a USB 3 but compatible for 2 and my mac has no problem reading and writing to it. Any help with this or other means or programs to clone my drive is welcome.

  Have you checked for an update of the CCC?

  Have you considered Time machine? You can restore from that.
