  I bought a refurbished machine that came with Win 7 Pro pre-installed. I erased the HARD drive. Completely. Nothing more.

  I don't want Win 7 installed on the drive, but I need an ISO to install it in a virtual machine for research reasons.

  I tried to download the ISO of http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery, but when I gave the product key, I got a response that I should turn to the vendor of the computer and that is preloaded.

  When I did and asked an ISO, they told me to download from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery. This seems to be the only source for Windows ISOs left in the world.

  So, I run long in circles... infinte loop... :-(

  For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. ISO file which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

  It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work.   That depends, in part, on which version of the Creative Suite, you have.

  If it's CS6 then you can exchange languages/platforms for a product of more recent version if you follow the instructions on the following link:

  If it is older your option would be to use an emulator Windows on the Mac and install it using that.

  Hi, I used Windows Virtual PC XP mode for awhile and I just do a fresh install, and I'm having a problem that I seem not to be able to solve.

  After you enable the integration features, I got to the Windows Security login screen. I typed in the login and the password, but I accidentally made a mistake and could not connect. I clicked on cancel and was then in the XP login screen, where I entered then the right login and password and it me connected to the virtual machine XP without problem.

  Now, the problem I have is every time I connect to computer virtual it asks me the login and the password on the login screen of XP and I don't have the option to connect using the login Windows Security screen, so it do not give me an option to save my password and login information. So, to make things worse is that moment every time I have to resize the virtual pc it then asks me to log in again.

  Is it possible to return me to the Windows security login screen where can I put my login instead of the XP login screen when it is not an option?

  Existing virtual machines should not have impact. But there could be some accounting issues between Nova and vCenter resources. Nova will think the compute cluster X vCPUs has available, but some are already used by existing virtual machines, which Nova is not aware.

  See a strange problem with only a Windows 2008 R2 model. When you use the built-in function "Start VM and wait" workflow to start a virtual machine (after conversion from a template either manually, or through workflow) NIC of the virtual machine (I tried VMXNET3 and e1000 times) does not connect to the problem.   It seems that you have reached a vice that crept into the manipulation of workstation s 9.0.2' of remote USB devices.  We have fixed the problem in our internal versions of workstation, but until an updated version is made public, it seems that you need to roll back to the workstation 9.0.1 if you need to work around the problem.

  I'm trying to retrieve the performance data for several virtual machines.

  For now, I have this in serial mode, i.e. running QueryPerf on each virtual machine.

  The problem is that I have about 800 of them connected to one of my VC. Needless to say, this take a LOT of time to review all of the VM.

  Y at - it sort of method that will allow me to provide a picture of VM and application (performance counters) on all virtual machines, I guess that this will be faster than going and one by one.

  QueryPerf method accepts an array of data object PerfQuerySpec. Here, each PerfQuerySpec object points to a managed entity for which the statistics are to recover.

  So in your scenario, before calling queryPerf, you can create PerfQuerySpec for each virtual machine, assign to each of them in PerfQuerySpec table. You can then pass this [of PerfQuerySpec] the call of queryPerf to retrieve statistics for all virtual machines.
