  By your post, I see that you are not able to select the manual duplex option on Maverick.
  I can help you with this problem.

  The drivers for the maverick comes from an update from Apple.

  You may, or may not be available with this Apple driver option.

  V10.9 OS X Mavericks: installing and using the printer on a Mac.

  Just to make sure they appropriate driver is installed, and not the driver Airprint, go to the Apple menu, then click on System Preferences. Click on Printers & Scanners, highlight the name of the printer on the left side and right side of the screen should display the name.

  If the name of the printer indicates Airprint, delete and add the printer name back from the list.

  Click on the sign - to remove the driver and then click on the + sign to add the driver, you may need to click the drop-down list to select the printer name to add it in.

  Check the functionality of the two side now if it is available.

  You can't install a driver if you do not have one that works. Have you asked Canon technical support?

  I need to update the video card for an hp Pavilion dv6704nr w / videocard geforce 7150 m/nforce 630 m, running windows 7. I was told during my visit to Nvidia, I have go the manufacturer of my system to get the update.

  It seems that if HP is going to force people to go there to get the update of the site, they should make available and for all major browsers. I know that my system came with Vista, but who knew at the time a program what Vista crap. HP offered here windows7 customers instead once he's out, but once you do this, HP will help you either.

  Hewlett-Packard should have recalled products out there instead of selling a product that they can stand is no longer behind. It seems that the less these companies can make products, less likely to stand behind the products they make they are. Why go back to VIsta my only alternative?   HP does not support the dv2K, the 6K or 9K notebook series for windows 7.

  Most of the time, you need to use the Vista drivers from the support page and the model of the laptop driver that work very well.

  I have a portable dv6810us with W7 64 bit installed with the same video, so I don't know the vista driver works fine with W7.

  There are no updated drivers.

  Also, if you put a lot of pressure on your video card by playing games, your laptop will soon toast.

• The search box is missing in Windows Explorer and the search is not available from the Start button on the desktop

  I want to search my hard drive for a file.

  I open explore and there is no search box, or all the options to search.

  I click Start.  There is no box that allows me to type in the name, I'm looking for.

  Any suggestions on what setting or service may be disabled or stopped which disables the search options?

  Hi jhblzk.  The name of the service is Windows Search, but even if it has been disabled, you should always see the box "search programs and files".  No harm to check though.  Press the Windows key and r on your keyboard and type:

  services.msc

  and click OK.  Scroll down the page until you find and make sure that the startup type is set to automatic (delayed start) and the service status is started.  If this is not the case, click on start and OK your change.

  If the service does not exist, go to programs and features in Control Panel and click on "turn Windows features turn on or off.  Scroll down and check Windows Search.  OK, your changes and restart.  The search box appears when you click Start now?

  I normally choose to 'Move' my memory card images in a folder on the drive hard when you import into Lightroom so that the map is so clear for use again. I can't think of any I've changed the settings Lightroom is no longer gives me the option to move or add from a map. It is a 'feature' of the v3.3 undocumented or I I do something stupid - and if so - how to fix?

  LR 3.3 cannot pass a card memory, only the copy, which is a 'feature '.

• Calculation Manager is not available from the workspace

  We have recently installed Hyperion Planning v 11.1.1.1.0 to a customer. The installation consisted of EPMA. Everything works fine (app created, responsible for dimensions, forms of work, etc.) with one exception. We cannot step Manager appears as an option in the menu under "Administer" in the workspace. We installed the calculation Manager Finally, after that everything was in place. We have configured in the EMP system configurator. The calculation Manager service is running and everything seems to work in EPMA. I use the user ID is a shared services administrator with administrator rights Manager calculation.
  
  I have to do something stupid, but unfortunately the calculation Manager is new to me. We tried to restart all services.

  You redeploy workspace and re-configuration of the web server after the installation of the Calc Manager?

  Just like all the other components workspace does not recognize if it was installed after the deploy/web server config workspace - poor design in my mind.

  Hi, I have been setting up the printer above but I need to put in place on a network. I don't have the network option as it says "network capabilities are not available. When I print the network configuration page, it says network capacities have been disabled when the device has been implemented. I did not disable anything. The user manual says to use the display and move to restore the configuration - tools. I don't have an option to restore the screen of the printer. Please can you help me to reset the printer to factory settings. I'm a COMPUTER tech so don't know what I'm doing.

I understand that you don't have the network option on your printer as it says "network capabilities are not available. I'll be happy to help you in this regard. Great job, looking for user manual for the printer. It's always a privilege to work with a COMPUTER technician like you.

  However, to answer your question about resetting the default printer, it is possible by accessing the menu before display.

  • Turn your printer off.
  • Wait 10 seconds before you turn it back on again.
  • Just as the printer is turned on, press the back (arrow) button on the front panel of the printer "4 times."
  • If you do it right, the support menu should appear.

  Menu Access resets

  There are several options in the Help menu. To access the menu resets all what you need to do is navigate to the right until you find the menu "resets". Under Reset menu, you will find the three different types of resets, reset partial, semi full reset and reset complete. Select the appropriate type of reset you need, and your printer should reset itself.

  The partial reset

  Delivery to zero partial just updates the printer and erases the memory of the printer useless. This type of reset fixes minor printing problems like slow printing cartridge errors, etc...

  The semi-complete reset

  The semi Full Reset is the most useful type of reset. However, this clears all the custom of your printer settings and returns it to its default factory settings. Use this reset if the partial reset does not solve the problem.

  Please do not perform a full reset.
